Life seems on top,
happiness cant stop.

Maybe not all cupcakes and handshakes,
but life is what you make.

It all depends on you,
or maybe depends on who.

The people that surround you,
take you in or befriend you.

Then it all turns out wrong,
but dont that make you strong.

Who you thought was there by your side,
may have something to hide,
and who you thought had your back,
may have personalities that lack.

What am I saying,
no friend I aint playing,
but take a look at who you turn too
and then maybe you'll see who hurt you.

But theres always 2 sides to the same story
one filled with lies the other with glory.

which one shows the light?
the reward from the fight?

at times it may seem too hard to tell
and it seems like your life is going through hell.

at once it was one for all, and all for one,
but now all against the one you thought was fun.

the one all your admiration went toward,
but you felt different bout them and kept lookin foward.

but that all you believed,
seemd like they tried to decieve,
bout the bond that the one and you had,
then all it did was made you mad.

made you stress,
made you test,
your emotions,
you're open...

vulnerable to all that know you,
they think they tellin you the truth
but what you thought was true
could be a lie and its due.

cuz sooner or later you willl find out
but until then, let your heart meant
no need to shout
or cry, or worry, or feel left out

so put your feet up
dont keep the heat up
keep the tension in the atmosphere out
and soon one day, you'll be free to see what you're gonna find out.
