<a href=>Channing</a> stood at the top of the bleachers and watched as her <a href=>brother</a> took his last shot in the gym. She looked down at her watch.

"Hey!" She called. He looked up at his sister and then down at the ball in his hands. "We've gotta go. C'mon."

He dropped the ball and walked slowly towards the bench where he'd sat his backpack. Channing walked down the bleachers and they met halfway. She rubbed his head and kissed his forehead.

"Did you turn in all of your books?" She asked.

He nodded, "Yeah. I officially don't go here anymore." He said, looking up at her.

She smiled, trying to save face. "Let's hit the road. The movers should be on their way to the house now. It's beautiful, I promise."

He shrugged, "It'll never be home." He mumbled, walking ahead of her.

Channing sighed and followed after her brother. She turned on the radio as they drove out of the school parking lot. Aaron stared lifelessly out of the side view mirror as they drove away from the school. Channing rolled down the windows and got on the highway. Their destination was 400 miles away. 400 miles away from memories. 400 miles away from <em>home</em>.

Channing let Aaron pick the music, as they headed down state to his away game. Channing worried that him not riding with his teammates would affect his game, but he didn't seem to have a problem with it.

"How are things with Mariah?" She asked, eating some peanuts and adjusting her rearview mirror.

"They're cool. She's a lot happier at her grandma's. We don't really get to talk much though, because she had to get a job." He said, scrolling through his phone.

"Well that's kind of a bummer." Channing said. "I'm sorry to hear that."

"Me too." He said, shrugging. "But we'll be cool. That's my girl."

Channing smiled, "I know you hate this but...are you two, sexually active? Any definition of the term. I promise I won't pry." She said, glancing over at him.

He shrugged, "I mean I guess." He said.

"You guess? Is there any penetration involved?" She asked.

"My God." He said, sighing. "Penetration, Channing, really? Could you make it any more awkward? f***ing weirdo."

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! But I need you to answer my question." She said, looking over at him.

"Yes, Channing." He said, sighing.

Channing's heart sunk, "Are you being safe, Aaron?" She asked.

He nodded, "Yeah, every time."

"Every time?! How many times?!" Channing asked.

"Dude only 3 times." He said, shaking his head. "And the first one barely counts 'cause we were both virgins."

Channing nodded, "Okay. Me telling you that I disapprove won't change anything so...I'll just tell you to continue to be safe, and to know that I'm here if anything ever goes wrong or...if it hurts when you try to pee."

"Shut up, Channing." He mumbled.

Channing smiled a little and looked over at him, "I love you baby bro."

"I love you too, unfortunately." He responded, glancing over at her.

Aaron was short with Channing whenever she spoke to him lately and it was really bugging her. She didn't understand why he was so cold, and so distant. She was in the kitchen feeding Jasmine when he came in from practice one day.

"When are the playoffs?" Channing asked, looking over at him.

"Soon." He said, opening the fridge and grabbing a water bottle.

"Will you talk to me?" Channing said, looking over at him.

He shut the fridge and shrugged, "What difference will it make? I'm not even on your radar anymore." He said.

"What are you talking about, Aaron?" Channing asked, sitting down the spoon that she was feeding Jasmine with and standing up.

"Nothing." He said.

Channing grabbed his face and made him look at her, "What are you talking about?"

He shrugged, "You got Jas, the new baby and Ryan. Not to mention that girl at work. There are days when you don't even ask me how I'm doin anymore. I wish we could rewind a year, and just stay there." He said, looking her in the eye.

" feel like I'm neglecting you?" She asked softly.

He nodded, "Yeah I do."

"Aaron I didn't know that you felt that way, and I'm sorry. You've always liked your space. I guess I didn't think that my being so occupied with everything else would make you feel like you weren't important to me. I wouldn't be where I am right now if it weren't for the person that came into my life 2 years ago." Channing said, grabbing his cheeks and looking him in the eye. "You mean the world to me, you know that right?"

He shook his head, "Not lately. I used to know." He said.

"Well I'm sorry. I'm gonna try to do better, but you can reach out too. You never come talk to me like you used to." She said.

"Because Ryan's always in there. It's just not the same around here no more." He said.

Channing frowned a little, "I miss our time too. How about this? I drive you down to your away game this weekend and chaperone. That way, we can talk about whatever you want on our way there, and spend some quality time together." She said.

Channing could see his face lighten up a little but he tried his best to hide it with indifference.

"That's cool." He said, taking a sip of his water.

She smiled, "Good. I'll tell Ryan." She said.

Channing walked down the hall and opened Jasmine's door to find her in the middle of the floor, playing with her toys. She looked over her shoulder when Channing entered.

"Hi baby." Channing said, sitting down on the floor behind her and picking up some of her toys.

Jasmine smiled and put the toys down. She turned around and straddled Channing, hugging her tightly. Channing kissed her forehead.

"You're gonna be a big sister soon." She said softly. "What do you think about that?"

Ryan knocked on the door, as he headed off to the gym.

"I'll be back later. What do you need me to bring back?" He asked.

She shook her head and smiled, "Nothing." She said.

"Okay. I'll call before I come back and bring lunch." He said, walking towards her and pecking her lips.

"Bye!" Jasmine shrieked, smiling up at Ryan.

Ryan palmed her with his hand, "Bye big head."

He left the room and Channing stood up with Jasmine and left her room. She walked down to Aaron's room to see him putting on his tennis shoes.

"Where you headed?" She asked, leaning up against the door frame.

"Out." He responded, shortly.

"What's going on? Something wrong?" Channing asked.

"Nope. If it was though, you wouldn't know." He said, slinging his bag over his shoulder and brushing past her to leave.

She followed him down the hall.

"We should talk about what's bothering you." She said, continuing to pursue the conversation.

Aaron jogged down the steps and grabbed his keys before he opened the door to leave.

"Nah. Wouldn't wanna stress you out." <a href=>He</a> said, opening the door and leaving.

He slammed the door and Channing frowned a little. She looked at Jasmine.

"Way to not stress me out." She responded, turning and walking into the kitchen.

Yay, yay, yay, yay! They are PREGNANT!
they are gonna be blessed even more, with another child.
Ryan is right, Nique's problems are her problems, not Channing.
She can't mess up this blessing of a pregnancy over stress,
she must defeat this thing, she'll be just fine! :D

Adding more later.

Channing sat patiently on the examination table, as Ryan sat next to her, holding her hand. She looked over at him.

"We have Jasmine at the end of the day. We can vitro, if this didn't work, okay? I really wanna have your baby, Ryan." She said. "I'll try until I can't anymore."

Ryan smiled and pecked her lips, shaking his head, "I know that you're pregnant. And this one's gonna work." He said, putting his hand on her stomach.

Her doctor walked in and smiled a little, "Well, you are pregnant." He said, sitting down.

Channing sat up and looked over at him.

"Everything seems to be fine. Your blood work came back good, and you've always been in good health. I'd have to say that this is still a high risk pregnancy. Meaning," He said, closing the folder and looking Channing directly in the eye. "<strong>No stress.</strong> None. It WILL terminate the pregnancy. Take it easy."

Ryan looked up at Channing and squeezed her hand. Her doctor smiled and looked at the two of them.

"Congratulations. I'll see you in a few weeks." He said, standing up and leaving the room.

Channing smiled and looked over at Ryan, "Are you happy?" She asked.

He smiled and stood up, "I'm ecstatic." He said, standing in between her legs and wrapping his arms around her. "I can't wait to look into their eyes and see the both of us there."

Channing pecked his lips and sighed, "How am I gonna avoid stress for 8 more months?"

"Give all of your headaches to me." He said. "I don't want you worryin about nothing. If you need to leave work, so be it. You know I got us."

"I can't leave work. Nique needs me." Channing said.

"Nique needs Jesus Christ." He said, laughing. "But if you're still gonna work with Nique, remember, her problems aren't yours."

Channing nodded, "You're right." She said softly.

Her phone vibrated and she grabbed it to see a text from Aaron.

<em>How long am I gonna be here with Jasmine? She just took off her diaper and is wearing it as a hat.</em>

Channing fell out into laughter, "Babe grab my clothes. We've gotta get home to relieve Aaron."

Channing sat and looked at her watch, waiting for Nique to come in. She did finally, chewing gum and humming. She sat down across from Channing and smirked.

"Hey girl." She said.

"You're late." Channing responded, her face blank.

"But I'm here." She responded, grabbing her file and flipping through the pages. "Oh my God, I forgot allllll about this one."

"You're wasting my time, Nique." Channing said.

"How? Stop b****in. I just got here." Nique said.

"Exactly. You <em>just</em> got here. I wanna help you. I reallllly do, but you make it extremely hard when you show up whenever you want to. Why am I here?" Channing asked, crossing her arms.

Nique shrugged, "s***, I'm still trying to figure that out. It's clear that you mean well, Channing, but I don't need you. Like, I'm cool. I got my b****es in here that's gon hold me down when I get out."

"Do you hear yourself? Your b****es <em>in here</em> are gonna help you when you <em>get out</em>? What sense does that make?" Channing said. "This goon s*** that you continue to do will kill you out there."

"Channing what the f*** do you know about the streets? Where you from anyway? Whitesville? I peeped that the first day I met you. Probably married to a white dude, with a picket fence and s***." She said.

"My boyfriend is black. I grew up with a woman who wasn't my mother. I met my 16 year old brother when I was 21. I might not know your struggle, but you damn sure don't know mine." Channing responded.

Nique shut her lip tightly and shrugged, "I got niggas lookin out for me though. Like I'm not gonna get hurt."

"You won't...if you dissolve the gang. I asked you to do this a month ago." Channing said, pleading with her eyes.

"No, Channing. I won't. As soon as I do that, there will be no order in here. I can't be getting f***ed up by these hoes. Being who I am right now automatically puts fear in their hearts." Nique said.

For the first time, Channing saw a 17 year old girl in front of her. Just a weak, scared, 17 year old girl.

"So then you're telling me that without the gang, you'd get hurt? You can't protect yourself?" Channing asked.

Nique shrugged, "I mean...I could try but, I never really had to fight though. It was always some gang s***. I always had a bunch of people behind me, handling s***."

"When did you join your first gang?" Channing asked, crossing her arms.

"When I was 10. Up until that point, I kind of was, the average kid. Went to school, walked home. Then my mom started trickin and s*** and she would take me with her. I saw a lot of s*** that I don't remember but, it f***ed me up for real so...I don't know. I wasn't getting what I needed from my mom no more, so I looked to the streets. I reached and they reached back, you what I'm sayin?" She said, looking over at Channing.

"...where's your mom now?" Channing asked softly.

That was her soft spot. She sat quietly and looked down before Channing saw her cry. She wiped her eyes quickly.

"Next subject." She mumbled, looking over at Channing.

Baby Jasmine is so cute, & very smart!
That little girl treats Ryan like that's her father,
it's obviously she loves him & he loves her 10x more.
Ryan fits there, just like Rose says. Rose seems to
be wise and smart, I believe she is always right.
Especially about the pregnancy, in just a matter of
time Channing will find out, & I can't wait!

Ryan needs to realize he did some foul s*** and that just because they playing house now doesn't mean she is ready for the real deal. Trust don't come overnight nor in a few weeks so he need to show he in it for the long haul, again. His mother is funny though. I love her!!

Baby Talk !! She just might have a bun in that oven. I would be so happy. She would definately make a awesome mom.

Runn It !!

Awww...Dang What If She's Pregnant! RUN IT:)

I love Ryan's mom. Ms. Rose is a trip LOL. But I like her predictions and old tales. Oh my I'm hoping Channings preggo and I hope nothing goes wrong if she is. I understand her trust issue with Ryan but sheesh it's been at least a year right? She's gotta start somewhere. Aww I love Jasmine's lil bad butt. She's so cute and is smitten by Ryan to. Love there relationship. I can't wait till Channing allows him to pop the question again. Loved the add. O mad you stopped there Carmen lol. Can't wait to read more. Run It!!!

I absolutely live baby Jasmine she's so adorable, but it would be so awesome if Channing was actually expecting

There will be more tomorrow or Sunday (:

Channing knocked softly on her bedroom door, where Ryan was sitting on the bed, watching TV. She walked in and walked towards him. He looked up at her silently. She sat down next to him and looked him in the eye.

"What's the beef?" She asked.

"This trust s***. It hasn't come up until my mom gets here? Felt like you were throwing me under the bus or some s***." He said.

"I was just being honest." She responded.

"So, when you're lying here next to me, telling me that you love me, you don't know if you can trust me?" He asked.

"I have my days but...can you really blame me, Ryan? Everyday, I'm trying to bury what happened and push forward. You didn't just cheat on me, you betrayed my trust. You don't get that back overnight." She said.

"But it's been longer than overnight, Chan. That's what I'm saying." He said, looking her in the eye. "We lay here every night and talk about whatever is on our mind, why I have to hear that in front of everybody?"

"I'm sorry. It wasn't the right time for that. I agree." She responded.

His eyes fell to her stomach, "Do you think she was right about you being pregnant?"

"No." Channing responded, "You know Rose. Always making something out of nothin." She said, smiling.

Ryan sat quietly for a few moments before he said, "...But she's always right."

"She wasn't right about us the first time." Channing said, narrowing her eyes. "She went with me to pick out dresses!"

Ryan's face fell a little and Channing raised her eyebrows.

"Did she...say something about us?" Channing asked.

"She never liked Mel. Said that she was gonna cause a lot of trouble." Ryan said. "...She's always right."

Channing nodded and looked down, "Well this would be a good thing, right?"

"Not if you can't trust me. Can't trust that I'll be here to take care of our kid." He responded.

"You're not gonna throw this up in my face every time I say something, Ryan. I want a future with you. Why else would I tell you to move in! I'm trying to take it one day at a time. I trust you more today than I did yesterday. I'll trust you more tomorrow. It's just the best that I can protect myself and my family." She said.

He grabbed her hands, "Our family." He said softly.

Jasmine ran in the room and tried to climb up on the bed. Channing picked her up and placed her on the bed. She crawled into Ryan's lap and looked at Channing.

"Love!" Jasmine said, sticking out her hand for a high five.

"I love you too." Channing said, high fiveing her.

She lied back on Ryan and he kissed her forehead and looked at Channing.

"When you're ready to let me in completely, I'll be down on one knee." He said. "I wanna pick up where we left off."

She nodded and stood up to go wash the dishes, "...I'll keep you posted." She said softly.

She turned and left the room.

At the dinner table, they all passed their food to and fro. Aaron and Mariah shared one side of the table, and Ryan and Channing shared the other. Rose sat at the head of the table and fed Jasmine, who sat in her hi-chair next to her. Ryan put his hand on Channing's knee as he ate. Channing put her hand over his. Rose took a sip of wine.

"So when's this proposal happening, Ryan?" She asked, looking at him.

He coughed, "Ma, what? You so damn crazy!"

"Ryan don't be stupid. You two are playing house. Y'all can get married." She said, raising her eyebrows. "Not to mention, Channing's pregnant."

Ryan darted his head in Channing's direction. Channing laughed.

"I'm not pregnant!" She said.

"Well, whatever. I was gonna propose to Channing but, she isn't ready." Ryan said, looking over at his mother.

Channing looked at the back of Ryan's head.

"What are you waiting on?" Rose asked, taking a bite of macaroni and cheese.

Aaron and Mariah sat quietly, listening intently.

"I have to fully trust him again." Channing said softly.

Ryan looked at her funny, "How much longer do I have to prove myself? I'm here, everyday after work, with my family. I don't wanna be anywhere else. That's not enough for you?"

"Ryan you were at home with me everyday after class for 2 years, and you still cheated. It takes more than dinner and sleepovers." Channing said, her face serious.

Ryan shut his jaw tightly and put his fork down, "Excuse me." He said, leaving the table.

Jasmine followed him with her eyes and looked at Channing. Channing sighed a little and started to gather his plate. Rose finished her wine.

"Sorry." She said.

Channing shrugged, "It had to come up eventually." She said softly.

Ryan's mom came to visit. Channing sat on the couch and watched as she held Jasmine. Ryan's mom smiled down at Jasmine and looked over at Channing.

"You're looking a little bronze in the cheeks." She said.

Channing raised an eyebrow. His mother was wise, and she and Channing had held a lot of conversations, but she also said a lot of things that confused Channing. Channing smiled a little.

"Now what does that mean Ms. Rose?' Channing asked.

She shrugged and rubbed Jasmine's back, "I had a dream about fish the other night."

Ryan walked down the steps and smacked his lips at his mother.

"Do something! Always talkin s***." He said.

"Ryan, I brought you in this world. I'll take you out." <a href=>She</a> said.

Ryan walked into the kitchen and Channing smiled a little.

"So what were you saying about dreams?" She asked, reaching out her arms.

Jasmine slid out of Rose's lap and ran into the kitchen screaming, "Daddy!"

Rose's face lit up and she looked at Channing, "Does she call Ryan daddy?" She asked, laughing.

Channing nodded and smiled a little, bringing her feet up onto the couch.

"Yeah she does. It really makes me happy." She said.

Rose smiled and nodded, "I'm glad that you accepted him back into your heart. He doesn't belong anywhere else."

"I'm glad you're so sure." Channing responded.

Ryan walked back into the room with Jasmine on his shoulders. He smiled at Channing and walked up the steps. Channing felt Rose's glare so she smiled.

"What now?" She asked, looking over at her.

Rose shook her head and smiled to herself, "Let me go freshen up for dinner." She said, standing up.

Channing watched her walk upstairs and looked down at her stomach. She put her hands there and took a deep breath.

"Are you there?" She whispered.

Morgan is wrong, she has no clue what the deal really was!
I also feel like Devin is settling, they broke up for reason. He just need something to keep his bed warm at night, and now that she's with Ryan... He was the only guy I liked, although yes what he said hurt, but he also was the only one out of all the guys who was real with her! Again Nick was playig way to many games, and i still don't forgive Ryan, he hasn't proven himself to be mature, and learned from his lesson, nothing he has done has shown me, he won't hurt her again!

How you run things, and scared of needles? Really?

Mariah is growing mature young lady, who thinks for herself, so the only person her mother has to blame is herself!

I want her to have baby, cause it is something she has wanted, and I will be so happy for her if she is pregnant, but on the other hand...It's Ryan's baby!

P.p.s this has been a great ispiration... I so want to adopt now!
