Me: I'm home.
I walked into the kitchen and a strong smell of sauce and tomatoes hit me in my face.
C: Hey babygirl.
Me: Hi.
I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
C: I made your favorite, my special pasta sauce and pasta sqares with ricotta cheese.
Me: Mmm, sounds good.
I leaned up against the island counter.
C: So?
Me: So what?

Me: You were okay.
I took the stirring spoon out of the pot and tasted the sauce.

I went to the spice rack and looked through the spices.

I pulled into the parking lot and locked my car. I had 6 minutes to get into my office. I started to run. As soon as I entered the building I slowed down and took a deep breath.

I walked through the doors and walked into a familiar lobby. The person at the security desk smiled and nodded. I did the same. I rounded a corner and walked down the elevator corredor. Eventually, I came to the 25th floor and the doors opened. I stepped out and immediately all eyes were on me. Jaws were dropping.
