I'm here with my first story on this site
So please>>>Read it Run it and Tell me wut you think!
Chap 1....
"Damn it, I got a D minus my mama is gonna kill me" La'shae said as she stared down at her Chemistry exam. A loud stressed out sigh was released from her mouth as she shook her head and hung it low.
"Awww Shae honey, don't worry you'll do better next time, I'mma tutor you promise!" Her best friend Mariela said with a joyful expression on her face.
Shae sighed heavily again, as she chewed her bubble gum in her mouth. She was so depressed,stressed out and lonely. She always let her personal matters get in the middle of her school work and as a result she failed almost every class.
Mariela look into her best friend's big brown eyes and smiled.
"I've got an idea mami" she said with a look of excitement. You could hear it in her voice because whenever she was excited her mexican accent was easily heard.
"What?" Shae asked as she gave Mariela a puzzled look
"Let's go out and party!" She said as she shook her hips from left to right.
"Mari, with grades like this" La'shae said as she pointed to her D minus "I won't be able to go anywhere"
Mariela raised her hands up and sighed as she picked up her lunch tray and threw the remains of her turkey sandwich in the trash.
"You are so....ugh I don't even know..I think you need a man!"
La'shae clicked her gum and searched for her chapstick through her purse.
"Whatever, let's just go to class"
Mariela and La'shae walked to their last class for the day. Life Skills. It dealt with family realtionships,relationships,finding yourself, how to live life. Stuff like that.
"Ay mami, why don't you sit here?"
"Boy please I don't wanna sit by your short ass I'm puerto rican honey I need a REAL man to deal with me sorry!" Mariela said as she dissed five foot five inches Shad Moss. He was as fine as they came but, he was extremely c**ky and short.
The class bursted in laughter as Shad turned red from embarrassment.
"It's cool baby, I still got love for you"
Mariela sucked her teeth.
"Okay class settle down!" Ms.Parker said as she banged the ruler on her desk
She cleared her throat and flipped her long jet black hair over her shoulders.
"Starting next week,this class will be going to help out teens like yourselves who are going through some hard times, I have assigned each of you to a person who is completely different from you. It is your responsibility to help this person whether male or female to find his or her self and help them to cope with what's going on in their lives"
La'Shae actually listened to her teacher this time. This assignment sounded interesting.
"I'll give you guys the picture of the person your assigned to and a little information on them, make sure you bring this back on Monday so it can help you" Ms. Parker said

I wrapped my arms around her waist tightly, when I hugged her I felt as if I was the strongest nigga to walk the face of this earth. Shae gave me the strength I needed to live.
"I'm sorry I was being so stupid" I said as I looked into her eyes
"It's okay, Chris I know you've been through alot and-"
"I love you La'Shae" I said while trembling
Her eyes got wide.
"You serious?"
"I am very serious, I'm in love with you I want you to be with me, apart of me I want to spend the rest of my life with you"
Shae looked like she was about to cry. I hated that! When she cries I feel like crying too.
"Awww, don't Shae please..." I said as I embraced her again
"I love you too, I love you so much" She said as she buried her face into my chest
I let go of her and got the necklace out of my drawer. I put it back around her neck.
She smiled.
She got on her tip toes and kissed me, the passion I felt was out of this world. I wrapped my arms firmly around her waist and leaned her up against the wall in my room. Her arms found their way around my neck. We kissed until God knows when, finally we stopped both of us out of breath.
She smiled at me again and I smiled back.
I held her hand tightly.
"Spend the night with me" I said softly
"Of course" she replied back

La'Shae's POV
I hadn't seen or heard from Chris for two weeks, I felt like I was dying on the inside. Everyday I was crying, I failed almost all my tests I was a wreck. I needed him but, he doesn't love me and it tears me up inside to know that. I sighed heavily closed my eyes and images of Chris floated around in my head. God, I need him I know he's the one for me! I can feel it.
Someone knocked on my door.
"Come in" I said softly
It was Mariela, she looked really sad. I guess it was because of me.
"Hey honey" she said as she bent down and kissed my forehead
"Hey" I forced a small smile to appear on my face
"Look at how he's got you Shae, your a walking disaster babe you gotta move on!" she said as she sat down next to me and played with my hair
"No! No, Mariela were supposed to be together I can feel it, he just needs some time"
"How much more time? Huh? And how can you be sure that he's the one, your only eighteen you got so much more years until marriage and stuff Shae"
"I can feel it Mari, I swear! God has led me to Chris and I'm not turning my back on him just cause of one little obstacle that's in our way" I said confidently
Mariela sighed.
"Okay if you say so sweetie, you know no matter what I always got you"
I smiled.
"Thanks"
"No problem"
She hugged me tight and I hugged her back.
"I love you Mari!"
"I love you too Shae!"
"Mari I-I-I need to see him, I just have too, I'm going to 'Hope to Cope'"
"Aight, then let's go" Mariela said
I hopped out of bed and grabbed my car keys I ran downstairs and jumped in my car. I started up my baby and sped off to 'Hope to Cope'.

Chris' POV
I feel like I'm going insane without La'Shae but, she told me she loved me. How can she love me!?! I don't understand. Mama, I need you to help me! Please mama...Please....
"Chris it's okay" A soft voice said
I looked around my room, I'm sure as hell I'm the only person in here. Damn, I really am going crazy!
"Who, said t-t-hat?" I was scared out of my mind
"Me, baby"
That voice sounded so familiar, it sounded like my-my mother's.
WTF!?!
"Jesus I'm a dead?!? I ain't even repented yet! Lord I'm sorry! I'm sorry forgive me of my sins!" I yelled out
I heard a soft chuckle.
I then saw a glowing light surrounding my mother as she walked to me, she looked like a different Joyce. She was so joyful and happy and at peace.
Tears flowed from my eyes.
"Mama!" I said as I embraced her
"Hello, baby" she said as she rubbed my head
"W-w-why did you leave me mama?"
"It was my time to go baby" she replied
I sniffed and she held me in her arms, after all these years feeling her hold me made me feel.....peaceful.
"I know you love her Chris" she said
I looked at my mom.
"You do? I do?"
"Yes,yes"
"I've been watching you all this time, Christopher I know you love her stop being afraid before you loose out on the best thing that could've ever happened to you" My mother said
I looked into her eyes.
"Mama, I'm so scared"
"I know you are baby but, she loves you and she would never do anything to hurt you" she said
I sniffed again.
"I need her" I said softly
"Yeah, and you need a haircut too!"
I laughed.
"Mama, I don't want you to go" I said
"Baby I have to, but just remember I'm always here watching you just call my name and I will answer"
I wrapped my arms around her tightly and embraced her once more.
"I love you mama" I said as tears rolled down my face
She kissed my cheek and rubbed my face.
"I love you too baby, remember I'm always here"
With that being said I let go of her and she walked away and disappeared.
I suddenly heard a knock on my door. I wiped my face and opened the door.
"Shae?"
She smiled.
"Chris I need you"

La'Shae's POV Cont'd
I followed Chris. My heart was beating so fast I couldn't breathe properly, I was excited!
He led me into his room and closed the door behind him.
"Sit down" he said as he pointed to his bed
I sat down on the edge of the bed waiting eagerly for my surprise.
Chris picked up a beautiful antique wooden box from off of the other side of his bed.
He smiled and knelt down in front of me.
"Open it" he said softly
My hands shook with excitement as I opened up the box. I felt my heart stop as my eyes connected with the most beautiful diamond necklace I had ever saw. I could feel tears in my eyes, I looked up at Chris and smiled.
"This is for me?" I asked as I felt a tear escape my eye and roll down my cheek
Chris nodded his head.
He picked up the necklace as I stood up, I lifted up my long hair off of my shoulders as he placed the necklace around my neck.
"It's so beautiful on you" he said in a soft sweet voice
I stepped in front of his mirror and looked at it. It was beautiful.
"C-c-Chris I-I don't know what to say"
"You don't have to say anything I'm just happy you like it" he replied
But then I just had to go say something, Why didn't I listen to him.
"Chris I think I....I think I..."
"You think you what babe?"
I breathed in deeply.
"I think I love you"
I looked up to see his expression, I was expecting a huge smile and a hug or a kiss on the lips but instead, Chris looked angry, I was confused.
"You what?" he asked his tone was so cold
I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat.
"I said I think I love you" I repeated
"Nah, your to young to know what love is, you ain't love me" he replied as he walked back and forth
"What? How can you say that? I do love you Chris, your so amazing to me"
"Nah! You don't love me were just friends, friends don't love each other!" he started to yell
I was so confused.
"Chris you sound so crazy right now! I know were friends but sometimes, friends develop feelings for each other and in this case I've developed feelings for you, why won't you accept that!"
"Cause I don't believe in love! Love is bulls***!"
"So what the hell do you believe in? So all this time all you been doing was leading me on? Don't you care about me?"
Chris stared at me with fire in his eyes.
"I-I-I don't know. Damn stop with all the questions. J-j-just get the f*ck out!" he yelled at the top of his lungs
I could see him tearing up he was about to cry. I was already crying.
"Fine! But don't expect me to show up anymore, I'm done with you!" I said as I ripped the necklace off of my neck and threw it on the floor.
I slammed his door behind me and ran as fast as I can. I ran outside and opened up my car door.
I slammed my head against the steering wheel and screamed at the top of my lungs as the tears kept on flowing from my eyes.
I sat there for hours just crying not moving one muscle.

I sat down in my room looking up at the ceiling. I couldn't get my mind off of Chris. I am, at least I think I'm in love with him. Gosh, I'm only eighteen, I've never been in love before. I'm not sure how love feels. When he kissed me I felt incredible almost like I could rule the world. It's like that kiss gave me all the confidence that I needed to be the person that I am.
"Ain't no daddy's where I'm from it's just mad mothers-"
"Hello?" I said as I answered my phone
"Hey babe, what's good?" The male voice said
I smiled, I knew my boo's voice.
"Hey sexy" I replied back while smiling.
"Ooh I like that!"
I giggled.
"I was wondering if you could stop by be, like right now please?" Chris asked
"Sure, I'll be there in a sec"
"Aight baby, be easy"
"You too boo!" I said while giggling
He chuckled.
"Bye Shae"

We hung up. I quickly jumped up and grabbed my car keys.I ran downstairs and saw my mother and father "making out" old school on the couch. Ewww!
"Ahem!" I said while tapping my foot
Both of them were shocked, they tried to play it off.
I laughed.
"I'm going to visit my friend, I'll be back my 10:30 is that alright?" I asked
"Of course baby your a legal adult, just be careful okay?" My mom said.
"Okay mama, bye love you both, oh try not to make me a brother or sister while I'm gone, I believe that we all know now is not a great time to have a child" I said while laughing
My mother rolled her eyes and my father chuckled.
"Haha! Get out!" my mom said
"Ain't we feisty?" I said while closing the door behind me
I ran up to my car unlocked it and got in.
In about twenty minutes I arrived to Hope to Cope. I hopped out of my car, but I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist. I screamed.
"It's okay, It's me Shae" Chris said as he turned me around to face him.
"Damn, you scared me" I said
"I'm sorry, look I have something for you"
"What is it?" I asked now excited
"Follow me"

Chris POV Cont'd
"Weak, I've been crying and crying for weeks" I sang softly as I wrote down everything that came in head on my note pad.
Aight, I love singing, ever since I was a little kid I loved to sing. I grew up listening to the best of the best. This song that I was writing I still hadn't figured out a name for it.
"I'm feeling all super human you did that to me" I sang again. Ah! I got it I'mma call this "Super Human".
It basically describes how feel since I've met La'Shae. I feel invinsible.
She's got me in a daze, got me blown away. I'm afraid though, I'm so scared that I'm falling in love with her. s***, I should've seen this coming. I don't wanna fall in love. All love is a bunch of bull. I've seen so many people go crazy because of love. Love is the reason why I'm here.
"Joyce, baby I'm sorry!" Clinton said
"Your sorry?!? Look at me Clinton, just look at me!" She yelled as she examined her bruised face in the mirror
"Baby, something came over me and -"
"Ain't s*** came over you, you were in your right mind, when you hit me, you hit me because you think I'm some kinda toy you can use and abuse when you feel like it. If that's what you think then your wrong Clinton Alexander Maurice Brown, your so wrong!" My mother yelled those words and slammed the front door behind her. She didn't come back until the next day.
My best friend Shad followed me downstairs, my face wet with tears. "My father" always found a way to make me cry.
"What you do to her?" I asked him my voice trembling and my skin red.
"This is grown folk buisness this has nothing to do with you Christopher" he said not looking at me.
"I don't give a s***, you hit her again didn't you?!?" I asked furiously.
My father, I mean that man he looked at me with hatred in his eyes. Hatred and Guilt. He began to cry.
"I love her Chris, I swear I-I- didn't mean to-to h-h-it her" he studdered.
I looked at him and shook my head.
"You dumb b****!" I ran outside with Shad.
I stood there as the wind slapped my face, tear after tear rolling down my face.
"Chris man you okay?" Shad asked.
I shook my head.
"No" I whispered.
Shad ran over and hugged me and we stood there looking like two little gay niggas for the longest but, I needed someone to comfort me so I didn't care.
I shook that memory out of my head and continued to write and sing.

Chap 4 Cont'd
Chris' POV
Shae really brought out the kid in me today, we were running around acting like a bunch of damn fools. She ended up falling on top of me, God knows I wanted to kiss her but, kissing her might've turned something on inside of me that needs to stay off. I couuld see the disappointment on her face when I didn't kiss her, but if she only knew that I was so afraid, afraid of everything that's happening now.
You know us niggas never willing to share our feelings. We feel as though if we do we're soft. Well, after we stopped running around we took a seat on the bench trying to catch our breath.
"Damn ma, you like a horse!" I said as slouched down on the bench.
La'Shae giggled, her beautiful dimples showing as she did.
I looked her up and down her creamy colored skin glistened from the sweat that ran down her body. Her big brown eyes shone brighter than stars in the night sky. Her face extremely beautiful. Damn, I can feel myself getting hard.
"Hello?" she said as she waved her hand in front of me
"Oh I'm sorry, babe" I said blushing
She smiled again.
"You turnin' soft on me Breezy, I see you turnin' red boo you blusing?" she asked as she smiled even harder. I could feel butterflies in my stomach, she made me nervous.
"I-I you see...ummm" Was all that left my lips
She smiled and ran her finger down my lips and then she kissed her finger,Damn I'm starting to feel funny inside again. God, I'm afraid please don't let me get hurt again.
La'Shae picked up my hand and held it, she looked in my eyes and then looked down, I couldn't resist I just had to kiss her even if it was just for a second.
I grabbed her chin softly and brought my face close to her's. I could feel her breath on me, it sent chills down my spine.
She closed her eyes and I stared at her for a second, then I closed my eyes and put my lips on her's. She put her hands around my neck and pulled me closer, I grabbed her waist and held on tight, never wanting to let go. Her lips were so soft, I felt like I was floating. The kiss lasted for about 45 seconds the most. We slowly pulled away from each other, looking into each other's eyes. Damn, here comes the butterflies again. I still held on to her waist and her hands were still around my neck.
"I really like you Chris" she said softly
I swallowed the lump in my throat. I was so flabbergasted by my response after I said what I said I couldn't think straight.
"I really like you too Shae"
