My name is Sian Cortez. But, in the city of New York, i'm known as Scarlet. Or as the papers like to put it, the Scarlet Assasin. I guess you can say I'm sort of a celebrity. I mean, if killing half of the a**holes who walk our streets doesn't make you a household name, I don't know what the hell does! But, I don't kill for fame. That would make me a hypocrite. I kill for revenge. To protect. For example, tonight's "catch". Jim Halron. 42. Has been beating on his wife of 13 years. Melinda Baker-Halron. 40. She did some digging and we hooked up a few weeks ago. Wanted him done in slowly. So, I did my hit tonight. Injected him with slow-acting poison, type of s*** that has you wishing you were never born. Insides burning, wrenching pain. When I left the place, the wife was sitting by him drinking a beer as she watched him wretch in pain. Just like he had done countless times to her. Now, y'all are probably like what the hell does that have to do with you. I don't know any of these folks personally. Yet, I'm putting myself out there for them.Only thing I can say is this: the world that we've made is filled with rapists, wife-beaters, drug dealers. And not a single one of them care how they affect others. All that matters is that they are getting theirs. So, I'm giving them what they deserve. Death. 'Cause in a world filled with hurt and pain, there is one avenger. And that's me.

I walked down the Harlem streets with my head down, tears brimming in my eyes. I couldn't believe she said that. She was supposed to be my ride or die, my best friend. But, all that s*** was deaded with a simple sentence.
A little while earlier...
Sian had just walked into her best friend's apartment, using the spare key she left her with. The message Cherkira had left worried her. She had never heard her girl so mad before. She headed towards the living room to see Kira with the remote in her hand, aimlessly clicking through the channels. "Hey,girl. Tell me what's good. You sounded pissed the f*** off on the message." Kira chuckled." Don't act clueless. You know damn well why I'm mad and don't insult my intelligence and act like you don't." "Uhhh, Kira. I really don't know what you're talking about." "Lemme refresh your f***ing memory, you whore. Last night, my baby came home talking about you was trying to push up on him. You was at the party he went to last night and was all over him...without any drinks. Then, when you did drink, your slut ass was sticking your hand down his pants. I can't f***ing believe you. You are suppose to be my number one chica. But, I guess all smuts can hide." Sian was shocked that her best friend had called her all those names, let alone believed her man over her. Everyone and they mamas knew that Darren had it out for Sian ever since she turned him down in high school. "Kiki. You can't be serious. You know I've never wanted him and never will. And you most definitely should that I would never do s*** like that to you. I can't believe you actually believe that manwhore over me! Your best friend!" "Don't f***ing call him that! You know damn well that you's a tease and a slut! s***, ain't no wonder yo' f***ing daddy raped yo' ass." As soon as the words left her mouth, the regret showed in her face. " Oh my God, Sian. I didn't mean it. I'm so so-" "f*** you, Kiki. You know how much that s*** affected me yet you wanna throw it in my face. And now I'mma make you feel stupid as hell. Last night, I was working the late shift at the shop to contribute to our summer trip fund. Here's the f***ing check to prove it." Sian threw the envelope with the check, complete with her arrival and check-out time, at Kira's face. Kira opened it and her eyes widened at the amount of money as well as the times. "I told Chuck that he could hold off on my past 3 checks so that the amount would add up and then add my overtime and all that and you get a whopping $900. And as you can see, I got there at 6 and didn't leave 'till almost 2 in the morning. So, there was no way I coulda been at that f***ing party. So, have a nice life, Ms.Beckens. 'Cause I am no longer in it." Sian grabbed her check and turned on her heels, running out of the apartment and leaving Kira's pleas and sobs behind her. That is how we arrived at our current scene.
The Present...
I wiped at my eyes, turning to stop the flow of tears without succeeding. I had 15 minutes to get to the shop for opening at 10:30. I continued on my way when I bumped into someone, falling to the ground."Ugh."I moaned as I sat up, rubbing my head with my eyes squeezed shut trying to subdue the pain. "Damn, ma. You iight?" "Yeah, I'm......fine." I looked up to see the epitome of sexy looking down at me. He licked his lips as he helped me to my feet. "Sorry, ma. Wasn't paying too much attention...but I'm Xavier." "Nice to meet you, I'm...LATE! I'm so sorry. I gotta go." I raced off to work, leaving Xavier behind but taking with me the sexy ass image he'd imprinted in my mind.

At first i was wondering where this story's going but now I'm going crazy for the next add.. and I just finished reading a few seconds ago.
Vampire story's are always good. And I love that Chris has an obsession with her.

For almost two years, I've been trying to find her. Scarlet. When the reports of her first kill were published, I knew she was the one. My friends believe my obsession with her goes against the excepted demeanor of the Prince soon to be King of Vampires. But, I don't feel that way. There's just something about hearing how she killed her latest victims that just aroused me...
"In other news, the Scarlet Assasin has struck again. Very recently, a man by the name of Jim Halron, age 42, was found dead in his Staten Island home. Due to the swelling of his face and hands, he appeared to have been poisoned with slow-acting cyanide. His wife, Melinda, claims that he had been beating her for almost 3 years and that she connected with Scarlet via phone. Here is the official statement from Ms.Baker-Halron..."
Hearing this brought a devious smile to my face. Scarlet never seemed to like to get her hands dirty. She always kills her victims smoothly. Without making a mess. And that is simply sexy to me.
"Xavier! His Majesty requests a word with you!"
"Tell my pops I'mma be there."
I sighed. I knew this was going to be about me not looking for a queen, due to my infatuation with Scarlet.
I transported myself from my Harlem apartment into the throne room in the Underworld,to see my father and mother sitting there, their subjects scurrying around to please them.
"Xavier, my baby. How you doing today, sugar?"
"I'm good, mama. And yourself?"
"I could be better. Like, my boss could stop bugging, as you kids nowadays say."
My mother is human. She's always been independent and even becoming Queen of the Vampires didn't make her stop. She still works and lives in the mortal world, against my father's will. I wasn't surprised though. She was the only woman to even soften his cold heart and he bent over backwards to please her.
The watch on her arm began to beep and she looked down at it.
"Well, it's time for my shift. I'mma call y'all when I get there and get home,okay?"
"Iight, baby. Be safe."
"Yeah, ma. Don't make me have to hurt someone!"
"Boy, bye. See ya, hon."
She kissed my father and walked out of the room, leaving he and I to begin our talk.
"So, son. Have you find any girl that interests you?"
"Yes,sir."
"Excellent! And she is....?"
"Scarlet..."
"NO! Son, you've been on this girl since reports of the first killing came out. s***, how do you even know she is a girl!!"
"Dad. I feel it. I know that she is the one for me. We share a thirst for blood. We both possess strength and the power and will to take life. I want her and only her."
"And if she doesn't want you?"
"Then, I'll show her the power I truly possess...and what it can do for her."
With that, I walked away. But, what my father said constantly replayed in my head. What if she didn't want me? No...I have to have her...I will have her...or my name ain't Xavier Christopher Brown-Carter.
