Chapter 1: There’s something about that Girl
As I walked though the doors of the diner with my dudes Jarell and Trey. We sat at our usual seats on the stools laughing it up about Jarell trying to mack on a girl earlier. “Yo that girl turned you down so fast it wasn’t even funny,” Trey said looking at Jarell.
“Yeah, Yeah she just did that in front of her friend you now trying to show off like she really dissed me or something ,” Jarell stated while playing with his sidekick. “Plus home girl gave me them digits before we left.”
“It’s ok Jarell if you got dissed don’t try to say you got the digits if you didn’t,” I say while patting him on the back while laughing.
“I’m talking to her right now,” he says while showing us his phone an the messages she’s sent. “Told yall I didn’t get dissed Jarell Houston doesn’t get dissed,” he says with pride like he’s somebody.
I ran the silver bell signaling that I was ready to order. “Where are they at?” I asked to no one in particular. Five minutes pass I ring the bell again I got impatient an rang it many times repeatedly. Until SHE walked out. “Yes?” she asked as she got her pad an paper out ready to write down my order. I couldn’t help but stare at the way her lips an eyes caught my attention first. She had to be new because I’ve never seen her around here before as many times as I’ve been here. “Are you going to order or not?” She asked tapping her foot obviously becoming impatient with me an catching an attitude.
“Yes I was I’m trying to figure out what I want to-” she cut me off.
“Well the menu isn’t written on my face,” she gave me an evil/ kind of sexy smirk.
“How you need to figure out what you want CB you come here everyday an get the SAME thing,” Jarell said opening his big mouth.
“Well I’m trying something different this time alright,” I say while still looking at her. “An it’s taking me a little while to think,” she looks at me blankly.
“Well then why did you ring the bell repeatedly if you weren’t ready to order yet?” The guys look at me to see how I’m going to respond to the statement she just made but I ignored it instead.
“I’ll have some of that strawberry cheesecake,” I can see Trey an Jarell trying not to laugh because I got this every time I come up here.
“Will that be all sir?” she raised her eyebrow while saying sir this girl was something else.
“Yeah shorty that’ll be all,” she nods at me then goes to get my cheesecake. “Oh shorty don’t call me sir make me feel old my name is Chris,” I smile.
She turned around an looked at me with her piercing gray eyes. “Well Chris,” she raised her eyebrow at me making me smile even more. “My name isn’t shorty….got it?” She says as she switches her hips from side to side made me wanna-
“Ha ha my dude now who really got dissed,” once again it’s Jarell’s big mouth. “At least I got the girl’s digits ……….man yo game is weak,” he says laughing.
“Oh I’ll get them digits you watch,” I say rubbing my hands together as I see her an my strawberry cheesecake. She set it down in front of me. She was getting ready to walk away I grabbed her wrist she looked down at her arm then at me. “Since I didn’t get yo name you mind telling me what it is.” She smiled at me then pointed to her nametag which read ’Sincere’. The guys laughed because I didn’t notice it.
“Excuse me,” she said taking her hand away an walking past me to the other customers.

i haven't ran this story in a long time and now that i'm all caught up i'm even more frustrated. i can't believe that sin trusted reggie and that he double-crossed her like that. i almost cried when she left chris, i kept hoping that he was gonna wake up and it would be a dream or some kind of sick joke but i guess not. Leaving him was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I just hope he understands that I’m doing this out of love for him. I lay my head against the window watching people and cars pass by. How I wish I could turn this truck around an see him and Sim again.
“Sincere,” I looked at him. “Are you ok?”
“What do you think?”
“I’m sorry,” he apologized.
“Why are you sorry you’ve done nothing Reggie” I then continued staring out the window reflecting. You’re probably wondering why I really Sim to my aunts. Well I had a feeling that Drake was going to be looking for me soon and I didn’t want Sim to be involved. Knowing his evil ways he would. I sent her to my aunts since Drake doesn’t know where they live. My phone began to vibrate I looked to see Nelz. I couldn’t talk to her not now atleast after breaking my love’s heart and running away, I let it ring. “This is so hard,” I sighed.
“It’ll be over soon,” he patted my knee
“I hope you’re right Reggie………..hope you’re right” We drove for so long it was pitch black night. “Are we almost there?” I was getting impatient.
“Almost,” he said robotically. Driving for a couple more minutes we pulled up to a abandoned gas station.
“What are we doing here?” I got no response as he cut the motor. About that time a few more cars pulled up. “Reggie what’s going on,” I panicked still no response. He turned to me mouthing the words ‘I’m sorry’. That’s when I saw a very familiar car.
“Reggie please……….you didn’t,” I begged. Just then a tall caramel brother gets out with shades on gets out. “REGGIE,” I screamed then got out of the truck running. I didn’t get too far because he caught me I tried fighting him off.
“I see we meet again my sweet” He whispered in my ear making me want to vomit. Then he tried to kiss my ear I kneed him in the balls, making him crouch over. As he did I tried running only to be in a tight hold, one of his goons had me. “Sincere,” Drake sarcastically laughed. “That was a very bold thing you did,” he held my chin smirking. A smirk that I knew all too well I close my eyes ready to feel the pain surprisingly nothing. “Sin I didn’t come here to hurt you I came so that we can get back together” I laughed in his face.
“You must’ve lost your mind thinking that I’m getting back with you. What about Taylor?” He avoided eyes contact. “Wasn’t your name……….Christian I believe” I could tell he was getting mad. “Were you with her just to get closer to me?” He shrugged nonchalantly he snapped his fingers his goon let me go then he grabbed my hand leading me to the car. We got in the car and sped away. I bet you’re wondering what’s going on with me well I’ll explain. Taylor’s date, Christian, well that was really Drake. His real name is Christian Drake Keyes but he mainly goes by Drake. Chris didn’t know it was Drake because he didn’t know what he looked like or his real name. When I sent Sim off I was going to get on the plane with her but I couldn’t just run away from my problems. Also I didn’t want him to come after all of us if we were in the same place. I wanted Chris to leave me so that I didn’t risk the chance of him getting hurt as well I couldn’t live with myself if something did. Knowing Chris trying to push him away from me would only make us closer. If Drake tried to hurt Chris I would step in his place no matter what that’s how much I love him. Thinking of Chris caused my heart pain because of his absence, a tear fell from my eye.
“There’s no need to cry my love you’ll never have to think of that low life again,” he laughed.
“That’s what you think”
“It’s what I know,” he smirked making me want to kill him. “He’s probably cheating on your anyway with Nikki”
“How do you know Nikki?” He handed me some pictures of Nikki and Chris hugged up, kissing.
“After seeing you with him that night I decided to do some research. Then I found her,” he pointed to Nikki. “Got all the info I’ll ever need”
“I hate you,” I hissed.
“No you don’t just think if it wasn’t for me you wouldn’t have found out the truth of your suppose to be love”
“He does love me,” I screamed.
“Sure has a funny way of showing it,” he chuckled pointing at the pictures.
“That’s all lies,” I screamed. He grabbed my wrists tightly then shook me I fought to get loose but didn’t’.
“He’ll never care like I do he’ll NEVER take my place,” he screamed at me. He gave me a cold glare then released me and chuckled. “It’s not like you’re going to see him again” When he said that I wondered where exactly we were going.
“Where are we going?”
“Away,” he said running his hands along my cheek I turned away feeling disgusted by him.
“How far?” I asked as we got on an interstate.
“Far” I closed my eyes praying to God that nothing happens to my loved ones or me. Then another special prayer for Sim………and Chris. I wonder how he’s taking this?

I couldn’t stay in her house anymore I had to get out of here. I got in my car and drove around for some reason I ended up at the diner. I was trying to not think about her yet I went to the place that ALWAYS reminds me of her. Since Ma was gone she let me run things a little. The diner was closed today I opened the door and went inside. I checked making sure everything was in place and ok. Going into the brake room brought so many memories of Sincere. The first time we met, the many kisses we shared, and when I asked her to be my girl. After feeling like her memories were everywhere here I left. My phone rang it was Nikki I sighed. The real reason I hung out with Nikki so I could find out a little about Drake she use to know him. She only told me what he use to do and what he was all about. She didn’t tell what he looked like or anything like that. I just hope Sin doesn’t end up with him again.
I parked the car at my Nana’s I got out smelling food. I knocked on the door hoping she was the only one there. She answered the door and knew something was wrong she let me in.
“What’s wrong?” She asked as I sat on the couch, face in hands sighing.
“She left me,” I mumbled. I knew that she heard it plain as day.
“Honey I’m so sorry,” she patted my back. I was trying to hold back my true feelings. I didn’t want her to see me cry last time she saw that was when Abigail passed. “Don’t hold back let it all out it’s just us,” she patted. I hugged her as the tears fell. “That’s it”
“I love her so much she promised she’d never leave me” I felt like a b**** being so emotional.
“Sometimes things happen to make someone break important promises. I’m sure she never meant to hurt you like you are now” I nodded understanding.
“Do you think she’ll come back?”
“If you’re really what her heart beats for then yes I do”
“I hope you’re right”
“Of course I’m right,” she smiled. “Now enough with the sad stuff I know something that’ll make you feel better” She got up making her way to the kitchen. She came back out with a huge piece of strawberry cheesecake, smiling big.
“Mmm Nana that looks good”
“Yeah,” she handed it to me. “I know Joyce has been gone and hasn’t been able to make you one so I thought I would”
“Thanks Nana,” I kissed her cheek. Nana was trying to help I respect that but, it only made think of her more. I sighed seeing how hard this was going to be. My phone rang.
“Hello”
“Hi Chris,” Sim greeted. At that moment it seemed like everything paused. Was Sin even thinking of Sim? What should I tell Sim? Does Sim know why she left? SO many questions swam through my brain.
“Hey Sim um…….how’s Cali?”
“You always ask me that,” she giggled.
“Cause I always wanna know duh”
“Oh,” she laughed. “Um how Sinny?”
“I don’t know,” I honestly didn’t.
“I’m worried about her” Simmone’s and Sins’ relationship surprises me everyday. You can tell they really care about each other.
“Don’t worry” I heard her aunties calling for her in the background.
“Bye Chris tell Sinny I love her,” she disconnected. Now I really knew this was going to be harder than I thought.
I drove to Nelz’ the visit them. They let me in frowning when no one was behind me. Nelz was getting ready to ask questions until Mijo motioned for her not to. I picked up Cami as she squeezed my finger as I hummed to her. Minutes later her eyes got heavy as she finally slept. Nelz took her in her room so they could both nap while Mijo and I talked.
“So what’s up?”
“My life just got more complicated,” I sighed.
“How so?” He asked, I sighed taking a deep breath.
“Sin left me”
“WHAT?!” I nodded confirming the statement. “Why?” He asked calmly, I just shrugged.
“She said that if I really loved her I’d let her go,” I sighed.
“Wow I don’t think I could’ve let Nelz go”
“I didn’t think I could let her go either” Just then Nelz reappeared looking sleepy.
“What’s going on?” She asked looking at me.
“Um”
“Chris was thinking we should have white suits at the wedding I told him no,” Mijo played off.
“Oh,” she laughed not fully believing it. “Well I forgot some stuff at the store I’ll be back” And with that she left out.
“Why didn’t you tell her?”
“Because she’s been pretty stressed out lately with the baby and all” I nodded understanding. “Chris,” he sighed touching my shoulder. “Don’t do anything stupid because of this”
“You watch too many movies,” I tried to joke but he was so serious.
“I’m for real Chris don’t”
“I won’t I promise”
“Just making sure nothing happens to my best man,” he nudged me.
“It won’t,” I assured him
“Just checking”
“What kind of lie was that you told Nelz?”
“Shut up man it was the only thing I could think of,” we laughed.

Chapter 64: Don't Walk Away
I awoke to Sin’s phone ringing she answered it half awake.
“Hello” Who ever she was talking to seemed to make her somewhat sad. “Um ok I’ll be there in a bit,” she then disconnected. She must’ve thought that I was asleep.
“Where you going?” She hesitated at first.
“I’m………I’m leaving,” I gave her a confused look.
“I thought you were off today?” At that moment there was a honk of a horn outside. “Why aren’t you answering my question?” I asked getting a little frustrated with her non response. She held her head down I decided to see who was outside. Once I opened the front door I saw Reggie in his truck. I slammed the door and made my way back to Sin. She was now dressed with a few bag in her hand I threw them to the ground. “Are you leaving me for……..him?” Something told me that she wasn’t but I wanted to know why she was leaving me. She picked up the bags then tried to move past me but I wasn’t having it.
“Chris just…………just let me go,” she begged.
“No never,” I held her tightly.
“Just let me go,” she screamed as tear fell. She pushed past me running to the door. Once she got outside I stopped her.
“You’re not leaving me,” I growled tightening my hold on her arm. Reggie came over to us. He got her bags and put them in the truck. I could’ve knocked him out for that her stuff can go but no her. I chuckled out of sarcasm shaking my head. “So you really leaving me?” She looked down silent. “I can’t believe this,” I looked up at the sky as the rain came down.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered.
“What’s making you do this?” She looked away from me. “Is my love not enough for you?” I pulled her face close to mine. “My love isn’t enough for you. What do I have to do? How can I prove it to you for you to stay?” She looked away as her tears fell.
“Your love is enough,” she whispered.
“Obviously not if you’re leaving me,” I shouted. Reggie came over to us asking if she was ok then eyes me.
“I’m fine,” she responded. He nodded getting in the truck waiting.
“Sin this is too much for me to lose you. If you leave it’s going to be a reminder of Abigail. I really don’t need this babe please,” I begged.
“That’s why I’m leaving so I don’t hurt you more than I already am. Believe me it’s for the best”
“Are you ever going to come back??”
“I don’t know,” she mumbled.
“Please don’t”
“I have to I-” I grabbed her pulling her into an intense and passionate kiss as the rain poured. I slipped some tongue in between her parted lips she moaned in my mouth tugging my shirt. In between kisses I said I love her. She pulled back from me unwontedly. “I have to go now” I held her hand tightly. “You’re making this harder than it is” Tears fell from my eyes as well. “I love you,” she pecked my lips. I still didn’t let her go. “If you love me like you say you do you’ll let me go,” she started to sing softly. “If you love something,” she wanted me to continue.
“Let it go,” I sang she wanted me to continue. “If it comes back then that’s how you know” She tried running but I couldn’t let her go I held her.
“If you really love me please let me go,” she sighed. An then I did the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.

Dear Readers,
I'm dearly sorry that I haven't been on here in like a week. Where i live at we've been out of power for a week and I have no way to get on the internet at home [dsl] right now i'm on my auntys computer.
