Seventeen year oldKristal Dawson started her senior year at FDR High School. She bit on her pen cap as she stared at her English teacher: Mr. Brown. She couldn’t wait for her senior year so she could be in his class. She’s been waiting for this moment, and now, it’s here. Her friends always teased her about her lil’ crush on the school teacher, but to Kristal—it’s a little more than a crush. She was in love with this man or maybe it was just lust. She wasn’t listening to a word this man was saying—all she could do was stare at this gorgeous man in front of her. He was real cool teacher, he acted like he was a teenager all over again, but he knew when it was time to be a teacher again with his classes. This was the fourth year for the twenty-eight year old. He loved his job and loved his students in a platonic way. He just laughed at the thought of how girls and female teachers would flirt with him, but it would brush it off, but this man—has a girlfriend of two years—Dania. Kristal was knocked out of her trance when she felt a balled up piece of paper hit her in the back of her head. She snapped her head back and saw Terrence smirking at her. She rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth and turned back in her seat. She sighed heavily as she got knocked out of her fantasy world about her and Mr. Brown and the things they could do. She slid her hand between her thighs and bit her bottom lip as she looked at him. Before she knew it, class was over. She groaned as the bell rang and gathered up her stuff. Terrence walked past her and pushed against her.
“a**hole,” she muttered. She grabbed her things and getting ready to walk out of the room.
“Miss Dawson,” she stopped when she heard his voice. She turned back on her heels and smiled.
“Yes Mr. Brown?” He walked up to her.
“Is everything okay?” He asked concernedly.
“Yes, why?”
“Because—you seem distracted in class.” ‘All because of you and your fine ass.’ She thought to herself.
“I’m not distracted, I pay attention.”
“Okay, if you need any help with anything. Just let me know.”
She smiled and nodded. “I will.” She turned around and walked out of the class room. She headed towards her locker and heard someone yell her name. She turned around and saw her best friend Chantal walking up to her.
“Hey hoochie—,” she beamed. “How was Mr. Brown’s class?” Kristal smiled coyly and stopped in front of her locker.
“Girl—I got myself a desk in the front so I can just stare at his ass all day.”
“More like drool,” Kristal playfully shoved her away. “What it’s the truth?”
Kristal opened her locker. “I can’t help it—he’s sexy, and the things I would do—.”
“He’s your teacher,” she interjected, and Kristal glared at her. “You acting like you want to be his girl or something.” Kristal grabbed her books and closed her locker door.
“Girl—I gotta get to class. I’ll see you at lunch.”
“Bye girl,” Chantal went down the hall to the left as Kristal headed to the right. Kristal raked her fingers through her hair as she headed to her next class. Her mind was wandering all over the place as she thought about her teacher. She bit her bottom lip and smirked. Maybe, just maybe…
She could get a little teaching from Mr. Brown.

-Chapter 17-
It’s been two weeks, and Kristal and Chris have been keeping their distance from each other, but when no one‘s looking they caught each other eyes. Kristal told Terrance that they should just stay as friend, and of course, Terrance didn’t take it so well and went back to his ways of being an ass towards her. She didn’t let it bother her, she had three more months and then she can have Chris all to herself. She sat at lunch with Chantal and Asia and looked down at her food disgustingly.
“Aren’t you going to eat?” Asia asked.
“I can’t. Just looking at this is making me—,” she cupped her hand over her mouth and jumped up. She ran over to the closest trash can and threw up what she had that morning. She spit and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. Chantal and Asia walked over to their best friend and helped her inside to the nurse’s office.
As Kristal lay on the cot in the office, she stared up at the ceiling with her hands resting on her stomach. What was wrong with her? Why was she feeling sick all of sudden? She sighed heavily and licked her dry lips. She sat up quickly and shook her head.
“No, no—this can’t be happening.” She’s been remembering that the last few times her and Chris slept together, he didn’t strap on, and she hasn’t had a period. She dropped her head in her hands and shook her head. She was only seventeen and close to eighteen and possibly—pregnant. She was scared as the tears streamed down her cheeks. Before she talked to him, she needed to know for sure. But what really scared her the most, how can she tell her parents.

“Is it time?” Chantal asked. Before Kristal answered, the timer stopped. She jumped and bit down on her bottom lip. Her hands stayed in her lap as she looked over at the applicator sitting on the counter in her bathroom.
“Just look at it,” Asia said, and Kristal reached for the applicator with her trembling hand. She lowered her head to look at it, and the tears began to fall again.
“I-I’m pregnant.” She shook her head. “I’m pregnant,” her shoulders slumped as she frowned. “What am I going to do? I’m so scared.”
“Who is he?” Kristal looked at her two friends and dropped her head.
“I can’t say.” She muttered.
“C’mon Kris—we’ve been friends for how long?” She looked at Asia. “You can tell us.”
“C-Chris—,” Asia and Chantal stared at their friend reprehensibly.
“Mr. Brown?” Chantal scoffed. “Are you serious?”
“How long?” Asia crossed her arms.
“About a month or two.” Kristal sniffed. “I never thought this would happen.”
“You need to tell him.” Chantal grabbed Kristal’s phone and handed it to her. She grabbed it and pressed number two on her phone. She rested her phone to her ear and sniffed.
“Hello?”
C-Chris—.”
“Kristal—what’s wrong?”
“We need to talk.”
