^^^That's what they do Shae.Well at least some of them do that.Just so you know they are just interested in getting to know you.But some people are very shy and feel intimidated to join a convo so they ghost read or do other things on the site.SO when you don't know the person who has added you it does feel pointless cuz it's like I haven't spoken to you before neither have I had a real convo with you so why even add me as a friend?SOme of them don't talk to you at all I understand.But some just do it because they feel that if they are on here they must add some friends.Imagine clicking on someone's name and seeing no friends there.But if they clicked on your name,then that's a compliment so I wouldn't complain. They liked you enough to add you.
