I pulled up in front of the large building, adorned with dark LED lights. The parking lot was being swept by a young boy in Jordan's. He couldn't have been much older than me. I tightened the strap on my purse and walked towards the door apprehensively. It had come down to this. I didn't have another option. I knocked softly on the door at first... only for it not to be answered. The boy that was sweeping approached and hit the door loudly with his hand flat. I jumped, startled and looked at him. He tossed me a smirk and went back to sweeping. The door opened and he stood there, looking me up and down.
"...Who referred you?" He asked.
I put my hair behind my ear and parted my lips to say something but nothing came out. I shrugged. He studied me once more and looked me dead in the eye.
"Name?" He asked.
"Veronica... I go by Ronnie." I said softly.
He opened the door wider for me to come in, so I did. I hadn't ever been to one of these places, I'd only heard about them... saw them in movies. I looked around wondrously, and heard the giggles of females arriving and leaving, all of them carrying gym bags. I studied their curves and looked down at myself.
"What you here for..." He asked, dismissively. His eyes didn't dance in my direction, as he strolled casually beside me, checking out everything on the floor - making sure nothing was out of place.
He stopped suddenly and I did too.
"...I need a job," I said, searching his face.
He snickered. "So go to the mall and fill out applications, sweetheart. This isn't something for your resume,"
"I understand that," I said, shaking my head. "I wouldn't be here if I didn't need to be. I need a job," I said, pleading with my eyes.
He scratched his face, as he ruminated. He pointed to the bar. "You start there," He said, before he began to walk.
"I was hoping to dance!" I called after him.
He shook his head, "We'll see,"
I exhaled, and dropped my bag on the floor before the DJ put on some music. I looked around and sat down on one of the bar stools. Well... at least I had a job.

Aubrey's new video had over 800,000 views in the first few hours of it's release. I was cooking dinner for Cayden and I when the phone rang. I grabbed it and put it to my ear.
"Hello," I answered.
"I'm downstairs. Buzz me up," Deann responded.
I went to the door and buzzed her. I waited by the door and pulled it open when I heard her outside. She smiled a little and kissed my cheek. Cayden got up from the table where she was doing her homework and ran toward her.
"Hi D!" She said, hanging on her leg.
"Hey Cay," D said, pecking her lips and smiling at me.
Cayden went back to the table and D followed me into the kitchen.
"Did you see Drake's new video?" She asked.
I shook my head and went to the stove, "No I haven't watched it yet. I was gonna wait until after dinner. Is it good?" I asked, smiling a little and looking over at her.
Her face was red and I lifted a brow, "What's all that?" I asked.
"I mean...for a Drake fan, sure. I'm not so sure what you'd think as Aubrey's girlfriend." She said.
My heart began to race but I played it off and turned the heat down. "I'm sure it's not that bad." I said.
Boy did I eat those words. 3 minutes and 46 seconds. I hadn't ever been so pissed, or confused after 3 minutes and 46 seconds. I sat stunned on the couch and D looked out ahead, a glass of wine in her hand. Christina was the star of the video, and for 3 minutes and 46 seconds, she's naked. The video resembles "Invented Sex" by Trey Songz. Aubrey did things in the video that he hadn't done with me yet.
"...well, what did you think?" She asked.
"I don't know..." I responded, looking over at her. "I just don't know."
She took a sip of her wine and exhaled. "It's just a video," She said.
"It would've been but...it's with Christina." I said, looking over at her. "I still don't know about her."
We sat silently on the couch and I let the video ruminate in my mind before I dismissed the thought completely. If there wasn't a wall before, there was now.
I hope Christina won't be a problem
I looked up from my book and smiled a little at Aubrey who was skyping me. There were other people in the room with him, so he had on his headphones, but he was all over the place, talking and laughing. He took an earbud out and smiled at someone before he looked back at me. There was a mirror behind him and I looked past his shoulder to see Christina's reflection. Her back was turned but it wasn't hard to recognize her. My smile faded a little. He noticed.
"What's the matter?" He asked.
I shook my head and looked at him, "Nothing...what did you say you were doing tonight?" I asked.
"About to go see about this video. It's released tomorrow," He said, picking up his fork and stuffing rice in his mouth. "Where's Cay?" He asked.
"Asleep," I responded softly, clutching my book.
I studied his face, and he looked at me and smiled, "I miss you, Ronnie." He said softly.
I smiled and nodded, "I miss you too, Aubrey."
Someone said something to him and the screen froze, so it was stuck on him looking up before it jumped back and he nodded and mumbled something. He exhaled.
"I've gotta go, the car is downstairs." He said to me.
I nodded, "Okay. I'll talk to you soon." I responded.
"Night." He said, before he ended the call.
I sighed. I hadn't ever brought up Christina again...because I figured he would've told me about her by now. But he hadn't.
it's taken me some time to read this, but happy i did
again, recommendation from Jazzy
Love Aubrey, their relationship is sincere and his love is amazing
Run it
awkwardddd . that's nerve wrecking tho . she will no longer have privacy .
LMAO Cayden caught them, thank god she was half asleep and didnt know what was going on. Embarrasing lol. Aubrey eats the box hmm.
Damn knew it was a matter of time before the media got wind of there relationship and who Ronnie is. I know thats not what she's use to, but I hope she will try and deal with it for Aubrey and work the relationship out. RUN IT!!!
O_o Cayden caught them!! That must have been the most awkward thing ever. They are so cute together. I absolutely love his mom. That did seem weird when the girl stopped her though.

At least she knows what she's going to have to deal with while being the girlfriend of a star
Yeah I was definitely worried about Ronnie and Cayden becoming famous because of Aubrey. I hope Ronnie can handle this though. Her and Aubrey are so good together, I love them. RUN IT!!
I hope nobody tries to stalk and hurt them
Run it!!!!
I was afraid of that...I was afraid people would start recognizing her and that it could possibly be a threat to her and Cayden's safety....I hope it's not.
When Cayden and I got back home, I took her out for ice cream, before she had to go back to school. She and I sat near the window, when I looked up and noticed several pairs of eyes on me and Cayden. I looked back down, when I heard footsteps approaching. I looked up to see a girl with rosy cheeks.
"Are you Ronnie?" She asked.
I raised an eyebrow, "...Yes..." I said softly.
"You're Drake's girlfriend! I just wanted to make sure it was you," She said, smiling. "Do you live here or in Canada?"
"I was just leaving, but it was nice to meet you," I said abruptly.
I stood up and grabbed Cayden's hand and we walked swiftly out of the ice cream parlor. When I got in the car, I went to google and typed in Drake. The newest blog posts about him popped up, and there we were, everywhere. We'd even made Perez Hilton. I looked over at Cayden.
"Mommy who was that girl?" She asked.
"I don't know, Cay." I said, starting up the car.
I wasn't sure that I was so comfortable with this...people knowing who I was and taking a genuine interest in my life. I was nobody. Just a regular woman, a mother, a daughter. I was no celebrity. No one to pine over. When I got home, my phone would not stop going off, as people had found my twitter, and were following and mentioning me every five minutes. I got fed up and deleted the app. When I put Cayden to bed, I went to lie down when I got a text from Aubrey.
People know you now...and I know that's scary. It'll be weird going places for a while, and people are gonna ask you questions, that they have no business asking. All I ask is that you be patient, and rise above it all. I have flaws, and one of those is the press. Are you okay?
I'm fine. A girl stopped me in the ice cream parlor today... But that won't affect the way that I see you, nor the way that I feel in this relationship. Have a great show. I'll talk to you later. Muah.
I lied naked next to Aubrey as he did something on his phone. He put it on the nightstand finally and turned toward me, pecking my cheek.
“I don’t want y’all to leave tomorrow,” He said softly.
“Me neither. Where you headed?” I asked.
“Florida. Got a show down there,” He said.
I nodded, “So when does it slow down again?” I asked.
“Mm…not for a while. Still trying to push the album so I’ll be in out for a few months.” He said. “I’m sorry about that. If I could have a steady, consistent job in LA and come home to y’all everyday, I would.”
“Shh,” I said, smiling and kissing his lips. “I understood who I was dating when I got on this rollercoaster. It’s scary sometimes but more than that, it’s fun.”
He smiled and kissed my lips softly, before he rolled over on top of me. He kissed my neck and moved down to suck on my breasts, before he left a trail of kisses down to my thighs. He kissed my inner thigh before he began to give me head. The door to his room opened and Cayden stood there. I froze, my hand on his head, covering my upper.
“What do you need?” I asked.
Aubrey was laughing silently and Cayden wiped her sleepy eyes.
“Can I sleep in here? It’s our last night.” She said.
“Aubrey spent a lot of money on your room…and you know October can’t come in here.” I said.
“Well where’s Aubrey? I wanna say goodnight.” She said.
Aubrey slid up and peaked his head out, “Goodnight Buttons.” He said, before he went back in.
I laughed and looked at Cayden. She waved and left the room. I looked down at him. “That was close,”
He sucked on my clit and I grabbed the sheets, arching my back.
Thanks readers!

Aubs man Im so diggin him right now. His house is gorgeous. I loved that he had did a room strictly for Cayden. That was so thoughtful. An how he referred to his room as there room. Too sweet. And he and Ronnie christened that bed very well lol. Damn he really loves her. Too bad she's scared to let him say it and her say it back. But I loved how she broke it down for him. Ats okay Aubreys gonna get through to her hopefully. And Ms. Sandy and Ms. Doe were so nice and accepting of Ronnie and Cayden. I love them for that. Ronnie seemed to as well. And Aubreys so sweet and amazing with his mom too. It's offical he has my blessing now lol. RUN IT!!!
Aubrey and Ronnie are so good together, I love them so much. Aubrey is just sooo sweet and I love the way he treats Ronnie and Cayden. Their love making scene was sweet, and I hope that Ronnie can learn to love Aubrey, because I am sure that he loves her. I want them both to say it and be comfortable saying it though, so no rush. And Aubrey's mom is a sweetheart and so is his aunt!! They are both so cute lol. You are such a phenomenal writer and I am in love with this story!! I can't wait to read more!! RUN IT!!!!

I love them
He walked out in the open with us, holding my hand. Cayden walked in front of us, pointing at everything she saw. There were cameras everywhere, but Aubrey didn't let go of my hand or even attempt to hide the fact that he was with me. People stopped him everywhere, wanting pictures and autographs and he obliged, every time. After sight seeing, we drove over to his mom's house. I got out of the car and swallowed. I hadn't met anyone's parents since I met Carter's mom...outside of my basketball game in the 9th grade. We walked up the steps and Aubrey knocked on the door. He kissed my forehead just as his mom opened the door, with her cane. She smiled widely and unlocked the door.
"Hello beautiful people!" She said.
Aubrey kissed her forehead repeatedly and hugged her. She pulled back and looked down at Cayden.
"Oh you must be Cayden! Look at her, she's almost as tall as me." She said, laughing.
"What can I call you?" Cayden asked, smiling.
"You can call me Sandi!" She said, a bright smile on her face. She looked up at me and smiled, "And you must be Veronica. It's so nice to finally meet you!" She said, hugging me.
She hugged me tighter than my mom had in a long time. I rubbed her back and smiled.
"It's really nice to meet you, Ms. Sandi." I said.
"Just call me Sandi!" She said, walking toward the living room. "Have a seat, have a seat! I'll go grab Doe. Doe!" She called.
Aubrey sat down on the couch and Cayden went and sat on his lap. He looked over at me and smiled.
"She's harmless, right?" He asked.
I nodded and smiled, "She's so cute." I said.
Sandi returned with her sister, Doe, coming behind her. Doe's mouth fell open.
"My God she's gorgeous!" Doe said, smiling at me. "Hi Veronica, I'm Aubrey's proud aunt! Where'd you find this supermodel?" She asked, reaching for a hug.
I stood up and hugged her, a small smile on my face. Aubrey looked at me and then at Doe.
"We just kind of ran into each other," He said.
Doe sat down on the couch next to his mother. Both of them studied the way that I handled Cayden like she was a fragile doll, and couldn't take my eyes off of her for very long. She sat on the floor, running her hands on the carpet. She looked at Sandi.
"Do you have any candy?" She asked.
Doe nodded and went into the dining room, bringing back a big bowl of chocolate. Cayden's eyes got big.
"Only 5, Cay." I warned her.
She smiled and picked them delicately from the bowl. Sandi and Doe made small talk with me, asking me little questions. Aubrey's hand rested on my thigh, and his phone was going crazy in his pocket, but he never once picked it up. He told me once that he'd mastered the art of ignoring people for long periods of time. When dinner was ready, Aubrey helped his mom to the table, and Doe came back with all of the food. The five of us sat and ate and I fell in love with Aubrey and Sandi's relationship. I could see why he treated me the way that he did...it was exactly how he treated his mother. She went to get up and he stopped her.
"Where are you going? What do you need?" He asked, concerned.
"I just wanted to bring the photo album in for Ronnie," She said softly.
"I'll grab it babe," He said, standing up and going into the living room, getting the photo album. "This one?" He asked.
She nodded and smiled, pointing at the table. He brought it back and handed it to me. Sandi leaned across the table and pointed at pictures, explaining them to me. Aubrey sat on, watching the two of us.
"Oh what a little looker!" I said, shrieking and covering my mouth.
Baby pictures were my weakness. I'd fallen in love with baby Aubrey unconditionally. I took a picture of my favorite and set it as my wallpaper. He smirked. We stayed with his mom for a while, and enjoyed dessert before we left. In the car, on the way back, I smiled at Aubrey.
"I love your mom. I'm so glad I came." I said.
"I'm glad you did too.." He said softly, grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers.
