He threw our bags in his trunk then went back over to the driver's seat. I was already in the passenger seat with my seatbelt on and my hands on my stomach. I couldn't believe we were doing this. He grabbed my hand and kissed it before buckling his seatbelt and driving off.
"Baby, I love you and if you don't want to go through with this.. we don't have to." He kept one hand on the wheel and put the other on my thigh.
I wiped the tears that were just starting to fall from my eyes and rested my head back. "We have to do this.. we have to, there's no other choice." He rubbed my thigh gently. "Chris, do you have any idea where we are going?"
He glanced over to me quickly then set his eyes back on the road. "I'm just trying to get away from here first, then we can decide.. where do you wanna go, Channy?"
I kept my eyes outside of the window. "I don't really care.. just somewhere no one can find us." I still couldn't believe it.. I was to young to be pregnant.. and now i'm running away..

"Chantal, Chantal.. wake up.." My eyes shot up, I tried to jump up, but my seatbelt was on, we were outside of the apartment building. It was just.. a bad dream, I sighed heavily and opened the car door. Chris went in the back and got Christina and her baby bag.

I turned off the light to Christina's room and left the door cracked. I walked over to the couch and sat next to Chris, as he stared at the television.
"Can we please talk?" He didn't respond. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the remote out of his hand and turned off the television. "Your being childish, we have to talk."
"Fine, talk, I'm listening."
"The child she wanted to 'take care of' was Christina, I went to the clinic, but I still had the final say in aborting the baby, so I told the doctor no, and he didn't tell my mother, because of patient-doctor privilege, afterwards, I told you I was pregnant and you know what happened next."
"That's why you were so sure you needed to leave.." He muttered to himself, I nodded a bit. "I'm sorry baby, I should have listened to you. I should have known you wouldn't keep something so major from me, we're always honest with eachother, and I should have remembered that." He said pulling me into a tight hug. I pulled away and looked down at my fiddling fingers.
"There is something you don't know, that I should tell you." He arched his brows and looked into my eyes, this made it harder. "Remember when Christina was kidnapped? And you were in the hospital.. and there was only so much you could do?" He nodded and I continued. "Well, Asia and I found a way to get her back. And we did! So it really shouldn't matter, so I won't continue, I just want you to know, that I did put my life in danger, but I made it out fine and we got our daughter back and it's over, so can we please forget about it?" Chris sighed and nodded.
"Alright, I guess we can, if everything is alright now." He pulled me into another hug and laid back on the couch, pulling me with him, he began to whisper in my ear. "It's been a while.." I smirked and looked up at him, I ran my hands under his shirt, I moved in to kiss him, when my cell phone began ringing, he sighed as I got up and dug it out of my purse.
"Hello?"
"Hey beautiful Chantal."
"Whose speaking?"

I woke up the next morning and I didn't feel Chris or Christina by me, I sat up and I was alone, all our bags were gone, what the hell? I stood up, I was wearing sweat pants and beater, I ran downstairs and out the house, to see Chris' car still there, no sign of Chris, I slowly walked back in the house and I heard sounds coming from outside, the screen door was halfway open. I peeked outside to see Chris sitting at the outside table talking with his mom, while she held Christina, I walked closer to them, they didn't notice me yet, I overheard Chris' mother's last statement.
"You need to hurry up and leave that lying whore." She stated seconds before Christina started squirming around to get to me, they both looked up at me, Chris looked at me with hurt eyes and his mom looked at me coldly. "What do you want?"
"Ma, cut it out. Chantal, are you ready to leave? I put our stuff back in the car. He still wanted to be with me? He needs to listen to the whole story, though. I simply nodded.

Christina's low breathing competed with the soft music playing in the car.
"Chris, you need to listen to the whole story.."
"What's left to know? You kille-"
"I didn't.. I didn't kill our first child, there wasn't even a child, Chris!" He looked at me confused for a second before turning back to the road.
"Now you want to lie?"
"I'm not lying! Can you please just pull over so we can talk, please?" He sighed and pulled the car over, it just began pouring outside. "I-I thought I was.. pregnant, but I wasn't, Chris I would never keep that from you. My mother forced me to go to the abortion clinic, but I was never pregnant, the test I took.. was a false positive, alright?! I was never pregnant to begin with." I said wiping my tears as the rain got harder and thunder began to roar, while the lightening strikes began to lighten up outside. He caressed my cheek with his hand. Suddenly Christina woke up crying hysterically. "Chris, can we stop at a motel or something? We can drive in this weather.. it's not safe.." He nodded and put his hands on the wheel and began driving again, three minutes later, we saw bright lights and a car honking, then something crashed into our car.

"Dad, I'm back after eight months, I have a nine month old daughter and I'm pregnant again.. oh yeah Chris is the father of both, yes the Chris that you hate completely." I practiced in the mirror in Chris' old bedroom. Chris walked into the room with Christina.
"Bae, my mom said she'd watch Christina for us while we went, you want her to, or want to bring Christina with us?" I straightened my top and looked at his direction.
"It's probably best if we bring her, I don't want your mom thinking we can't handle Christina ourselves." He nodded quietly and began walking back out the room once he retrieved Christina's baby bag. "Let's go, bae." I nodded and followed him out.

I knocked on the door as Chris stood behind me, holding Christina as she slept. I swallowed the lump in my throat as the front door flew open, my dad's eyes widened and he pulled me into a huge hug.
"My Channy, I've missed you so much." After a a few moments he pulled away, he looked over and saw Chris, his eyes widened even more at Christina and Chris. "No.. that can't be.. your child? Who is that?" I looked down at the ground for a second, then back at him.
"Daddy, that's Christina, our first child, our second one is still inside of me." His jaw dropped, I hear someone calling his name, it sounded like. "Mom?" She squealed and pulled me into a huge hug aswell, her reaction to Chris and Christina were the same as my father's reactions.

"I don't understand, why didn't you tell us?" My mom asked as we all sat in the livingroom. My head snapped up at her.
"Don't go there, I think you know exactly why I didn't tell you."
"But, Chantal.. that was so long ago."
"Not it wasn't! If I told you, you would drive me right back to that clinic, and have it 'taken care of', again!" I said raising my voice and standing up. She stood up to and started swinging her finger at me.
"Don't you go there you litte tramp! You got yoursef knocked up with this bum, I was doing you a favor! And you may actually be somewhere right now in your life if you weren't such a damn whore and didn't open your legs and lay on your back for every man who gives you a pretty smile!" My mouth dropped, I looked down at Chris was sitting with Christina in his lap, playing with his chain, wide awake now. He looked at me in disbelief.
"Y-You were pregnant before? You killed our real first child? And you didn't even tell me, how could you?"

I rinsed out my mouth, my third time throwing up this morning. I walked downstairs to see Chris asleep on the couch with Christina laying on his chest watching Spongebob while holding tightly onto his shirt. His mom was at work, already. Christina looked up at me and tried sitting up ontop of Chris to reach out to me. Now at eight months, she was starting to sit up on her own and move a bit, then plop down on her stomach. I picked her up and she grabbed ahold of my hair and gave my cheek a wet kiss, I smiled at her and set her back down on Chris' stomach, she scooted up to his face and started to play with his face, poking his closed eyelids, pinching his nose, pulling at his lips, and slapping his cheeks. His eyes fluttered open and he smiled sleepily at Christina as she looked down at him and smiled.
"Babe.. what time is it?" He asked looking over at me while pulling Christina into his chest for a hug.
"Around eleven.." I said sitting down on the recliner.
"Still feeling sick?" I nodded. "Probably just the flu or something, I'll go buy you some medicine." He said sitting up, still holding Christina.
"I don't feel sick, I feel fine." He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Do you think you could be.. you know.. pregnant?" I shook my head.
"No.. I can't be.. not right now, not with everything going on, we can't right now.."
"But, if you were pregnant, we could handle it, we can afford a bigger apartment and we could support this baby, we're going to be together forever, and we want a family, we're just starting earlier than others.."
"Chris.. we're so young and Christina is going to start talking and walking soon, and she's so young an-"
"There's really never a perfect time, baby.. something's always going to be a problem, but in the end your happy, right? I mean we weren't expecting Christina," She looked up from playing with Chris' chain once she heard her name. "But, we love her to death and we're happy she's here, in the end, everything works out the way it's suppose to." I nodded a bit and looked at Christina, I'm happy.. as happy as I can be, she is the light in my day.
