<a href=>Channing</a> stood at the top of the bleachers and watched as her <a href=>brother</a> took his last shot in the gym. She looked down at her watch.

"Hey!" She called. He looked up at his sister and then down at the ball in his hands. "We've gotta go. C'mon."

He dropped the ball and walked slowly towards the bench where he'd sat his backpack. Channing walked down the bleachers and they met halfway. She rubbed his head and kissed his forehead.

"Did you turn in all of your books?" She asked.

He nodded, "Yeah. I officially don't go here anymore." He said, looking up at her.

She smiled, trying to save face. "Let's hit the road. The movers should be on their way to the house now. It's beautiful, I promise."

He shrugged, "It'll never be home." He mumbled, walking ahead of her.

Channing sighed and followed after her brother. She turned on the radio as they drove out of the school parking lot. Aaron stared lifelessly out of the side view mirror as they drove away from the school. Channing rolled down the windows and got on the highway. Their destination was 400 miles away. 400 miles away from memories. 400 miles away from <em>home</em>.

Awww, so cute. I love Ryan & Channings relationship

they both are raising Jasmine so well, future parents.
Actually, I have a feeling ...Channing is gonna be pregnant.
That is gonna be great! Ryan gonna be hella happy!

SMH, Devin went back huh? To patch up a boring
relationship he had with his ex, hope there isnt
gonna be a problem with them.

Morgan better go sit her tail down some where she ain't nothing but a rebound chick anyway Devin only got back with her because Channing had done moved on and of Nuck isn't happy then good for him too for acting like a prick...Mariah's mom need to realize that it was her fault Mariah came up with the decision she made and I don't blame her at all...Channing is so adorable she's such a kindhearted, sweet, & thoughtful person and not to mention forgiving I know Jasmine will be happy to have her nd Ryan as her parents no matter what

Thanks readers! (:

I Can't Believe Megan Came At Channing Like That...Smh Choosing Females. And she shouldn't worry about how jasmine will feel about being adopted because Channing is all she knows and her love will never change. Channing working with a girl ... this shall be interesting

Ryan stroked in and out of Channing slowly, his eyes shut, biting his lip. He leaned down and pecked her lips. He started to go faster and Channing gripped the sheets when there was a <strong>POP</strong>. Channing looked down and then up at Ryan.

"What happened? Did it break?" She asked.

Ryan pulled out and nodded, "Oh s***." He said.

"What?" She asked, sitting up.

He looked over at her, "It broke before I came." He said.

"So..." She started but stopped. "It's fine."

Ryan looked at her funny, "What you mean? Should I go get one of those Plan B pills?"

She laughed and shook her head, "No Ryan. It'll be fine. I can't have kids." She said, rolling over and scrolling through her emails.

Ryan put on his boxers and shrugged, "Alright, if you say so." He said.

Channing lied back and watched as he went through the closet, looking for a shirt. She rolled over on her side.

"...I've been thinking about something." She said.

"Uh oh." Ryan responded.

"...What do we do when Jasmine is old enough to know that we aren't her parents? Do we ever tell her?" Channing asked.

"You worry about the wrong things Channing. As far as Jasmine is concerned, you are her mother." He responded, putting on a shirt and looking over at her.

"But when she finds out the truth, Ryan...she's gonna be heartbroken that we didn't tell her." Channing said.

"Fine. Tell her when she's like, 10. But let her know that you've been with her since jump." He said.

Channing rolled back over and sighed deeply, "I just...wish she was mine." She said softly.

"She is. Quiet your thoughts." He said, walking to the bed and getting in.

He kissed her neck and hugged her from behind.

Channing drove Aaron to his school and smiled over at him before he got out. He had an away game this weekend, so he and his team were boarding the bus. <a href=>Nick</a> looked up from his clipboard and smiled at Channing. She got out of the car and walked slowly towards him as he checked his players off. He looked down at her and smiled.

"It's good to see you." He said softly.

"You too." She responded.

"You look good." He said, shutting the bottom of the bus and looking over at her.

"Thanks. How's Sade and Nathan? I haven't seen them in so long." Channing said.

"Right it's been a while. But they're cool. Sade's like the star of her class at preschool and Nate's bringing home nothing below a B so, I'm running a pretty tight ship." He said, smiling.

"You seem happy." She said, punching him softly.

"Looks can be deceiving. How are things with you and...your boyfriend?" He asked.

"Well. Taking it one day at a time." She said.

"Cool. We should have drinks or something. I never see you anymore." He said, looking her in the eye.

"Sure. We can grab drinks soon." She said, smiling. "Have a safe trip. Watch my brother!" Channing said, turning and heading back to her car.

She got in and drove home, to find Jasmine in her high chair and Ryan feeding her. Channing smiled and kissed his cheek. She looked out of the back window to see <a href=>Morgan</a> in the backyard next door. Channing walked outside, smiling.

"Morgan!" She said, waving.

Morgan looked up from the trash bags that she'd been holding and smiled a little.

"Hey Channing." She said, putting them down and wiping her hands on her pants.

"Long time, no see. Did you and Devin get back together?" Channing asked.

"We did." Morgan said nodding.

Channing could see something behind her eyes. Morgan pushed her hair behind her ear.

"He told me everything. About the miscarriage you two were seeing each other. I pretty much went through the hardest break up of my life with him and you were there...waiting for me to leave-" Morgan said.

"It's not like that-" Channing started.

"It's fine, Channing. I know how single women get. I'm not...angry, I just...wish that you weren't one of those women." She said, walking backwards and grabbing the trash bags.

Channing sighed deeply and looked towards the house to see <a href=>Devin</a> walking down the back steps, his eyes glued to Channing. She turned and walked back to her house. Ryan had been watching from the window.

"That's his new girl?" He asked.

"His ex. They got back together." Channing said, picking Jasmine up out of her hi-chair and wiping her mouth.

Ryan looked at Channing, "I brought most of my clothes over today." He said, peeling an orange.

Channing smiled, "Good." She said, pecking her lips.

Channing went to leave the kitchen and pecked Jasmine's cheek.

"Let's go read before dinner!" She said.

Channing dropped Jasmine off at the baby sitter's and drove silently to work. She was in deep thought. Her boss had decided to move her to the girl's rehabilitation building, so she wouldn't be working with any more males. <a href=>Channing</a> entered the center and immediately noticed a difference. The lights were brighter. High voices filled the halls and as she walked past cells, she was yelled at. At the male center, there were whistles and tongues wagged. Here, she was called a <em>b****</em>. She walked into the meeting room and sat down quickly. The case worker walked into the room and smiled apologetically.

"The girls get a little rowdy before lunch." She said, sitting down on the opposite side of the table and opening her file.

Channing's mind was somewhere else, but she tried her best to focus as the case worker talked about her new client. Apparently she was a gang leader. <em>Great</em>, Channing thought. She wouldn't get into the specifics of what fueled her anger, so Channing figured that she'd try to tackle that. The case worker shut her folder and stood up.

"I'll go get her. Are you ready?" She asked.

"You ask me that as if I'm preparing for war." Channing said softly.

"You are." She responded, leaving the room.

Moments later, <a href=>she</a> entered the room popping her gum and smirked when she saw Channing.

"They sent a pretty one." She said, sitting down at the table.

Channing folded her arms and examined the girl.

"No tattoos." Channing said, "Interesting."

"I don't like needles." The girl mumbled. "Let me start off by saying something though, before you start sayin s***."

Channing put her elbows on the table.

"I don't give a f*** about s*** you gotta say." The girl said.

"What's your name?" Channing asked.

"It's in the folder." The girl responded.

"Your government name is in the folder. What do they call you in here?" Channing asked.

"The f***? The name my momma gave me." She responded.

"So they call you Romonique?" Channing asked.

"Well <em>no</em>, I go by Nique, smart ass." She said.

Channing slammed the folder shut, which startled Nique a little bit. She laughed.

"Was that supposed to do something?' Nique asked.

"I"m gonna start off by saying something before you start saying s***. My last client was shot and killed a month after he was released from here, so this hard exterior that you've fabricated - I don't give two s***s about. When you enter this room, that stays out there, <em>Romonique.</em>" Channing said.

Nique chewed her gum quietly, "...So Tristan was yours huh? I heard he had a cool social worker. Put him and his sister up with a place and everything."

"How'd you hear that?" Channing asked, busying herself with her cell phone.

"Word spreads around here. It's hard to meet genuine people so... when niggas do, they be quick to brag." Nique said.

"It's not hard to meet genuine people, Nique. You just have to hold high standards for the people in your life." Channing said. "Like I plan to do with you."

Nique folded her arms, "What's in my folder? I always wanted to know." She said, her accent thick like Brooklyn concrete.

"More than a 17 year old girl should have attached to her name." Channing said softly. "I hear that a gang in here. f*** other girls up?" Channing asked.

She usually didn't like to curse but, to get on Nique's level, she felt like she needed to. That way, they'd see eye to eye.

"I don't f*** anyone up. My down low b****es do that. I just run the town." Nique said, smirking.

"That stops today." Channing responded.

"You're my social worker. Not my mother. Know ya role." Nique said.

"What exactly is my role?" Channing asked.

"You work some s*** out. Find the root of my anger or some bulls***. No one knows where it stems from. Not even me." She said.

"I'm not a psychologist but...I bet if you changed the circumstances that you put yourself in <em>socially</em>, you'll find that the root of your anger is perpetuated there. That's my role, Nique. Dissolve the gang." Channing said clearly.

Channing stood behind Mariah as she stood next to her lawyer in the courtroom. Her parents shared a table on the opposite side. Channing could see the heartbreak on her mother's face. Her father was cold as stone. The judge hit his gavel, granting Mariah emancipation from her parents. He called up the next case. Mariah came around and hugged <a href=>Aaron.</a> He put his arm around her and the two of them left the room. Channing picked up Jasmine from her seat and started to leave when Mariah's mother stopped her.

"I trusted you." Her mother said.

"Excuse me?" Channing responded, shifting Jasmine on her hip.

"What makes you think that she'll be better without her parents? You helped her do this." Her mother said.

Channing frowned a little, "I'm sad that you'd even make that accusation, so I won't entertain it. Have a good day, Mrs. Loretta."

Channing turned and left the room, meeting Aaron and Mariah in the hall. Channing looked at her watch and then at Channing.

"I've gotta go but, congratulations Mariah." Channing said, hugging her.

"Thanks for your support." Mariah responded.

"Absolutely." Channing said, scurrying off down the steps.

She had to go to work. She was meeting her new client.

aww that's so sad about Tristan...i think ryan is right they need to go home...RUN IT!!!

Aw, you cried huh? I was on the verge of crying as well, but I'm glad I didn't. R.I.P to Tristian, Ryan is right, he doesn't have to worry about pleasing anyone anymore, so he'll be just fine. Lol, I still think Jasmine is so cute, the way she calls Ryan daddy is amazing, she actually thinks of him as her father, I hope that never changes, it's like their a little family living all in one roof. Ryan is moving in! Yay, yay! I'm excited. ^___^

(tears) I feel horrible that he passed away

Small add! But I've gotta add to my other's. Enjoy these (:

Channing lied with Jasmine for the majority of Monday. She'd taken a leave of absence for a while. She wasn't ready to meet her new client. She had a lot of reflecting to do. She and Jasmine didn't bother to take baths. They sat in their pajamas all day, eating ice cream and watching TV. Jasmine climbed off of the bed and ran down the hall when she heard Aaron come upstairs. Aaron picked her up and came into the room.

"She stinks." He said, sitting her down on the bed.

"No she doesn't." Channing said, pulling Jasmine's butt towards her face. "Whoa yes she does. Okay."

Aaron sat down on the bed and looked at Channing, "You doin okay?"

She shrugged and nodded a little, "Better than yesterday." She said.

"Good. One step at a time. I don't wanna spring anything on you but, Mariah is going to court next week. She said she wants you to be there to support her." He said.

"I'll be there." Channing said quickly.

"You sure?" He asked.

"Of course. It's Mariah. She's like family." Channing said, looking over at him.

Aaron smiled a little, "You're...great. I don't say that a lot but I mean it Channing. You never take credit for the things that you're good at, but you're quick to blame yourself for something that wasn't your fault." He said.

He stood up and left the room, with the words hanging in the air. Channing let them sink in for a minute before she looked at Jasmine who was crawling around, looking for her pacifier. She grabbed it and stuffed it in her mouth.

"Let's get you clean stinky." Channing said, picking her up and carrying her to the bathroom.

She ran a bubble bath for the two of them and got in with Jasmine. Jasmine was having a field day with Channing in the tub. Channing's hair was soaked. When they were done, Channing got out and wrapped a towel around the two of them. She went down the hall and got dressed. She put Jasmine in a diaper and t-shirt and let her roam around. The door downstairs opened and Ryan jogged up the steps. He walked in the room and Jasmine's eyes lit up.

"Daddy!" She shrieked, sliding off of the bed and running to Ryan.

He smiled and kneeled down, picking her up and kissing her lips.

"You smell like mommy." He said, cutting his eyes at Channing.

She laughed, "Shut up Ryan." She said.

He walked to the bed and put Jasmine down as he took off his work clothes and slipped into some shorts. He walked up to Channing and wrapped his arms around her.

"I say we go home this weekend. You've got some good memories there. Let's take your mind off things." He said.

She nodded, "Sounds good. I've been meaning to go visit my parents." She said, smiling a little.

"Okay good. We'll leave when I get home Friday." He said, turning to leave the room.

"Hey Ry." She said.

He turned and looked at her.

She shrugged a little and looked down at her dresser, "Maybe you could...start to bring your things here." She said, looking over at him.

<a href=>He</a> stopped at the doorway and smiled.

"I'd love that..." He said softly.

She nodded and walked back to her bed.

Awwwww (: Runn!

Side note: I cried writing this. I didn't want to kill Tristan, but it's the most realistic that I can be. Another add on the way.
