~~Cold-Hearted~~ (Repost) Finished!!

Tristan is sitting at the bar like he does every Friday night. He doesn’t even know why he bothers anymore, the bar scene seems to get more boring every week. He looks around as he takes a sip of his Hennessey on the rocks; he swears he sees the same people every week; desperate men looking for woman and desperate woman looking for men. Tristan is not a desperate man and he is not looking for a woman. His motto is “never trust a b***h.” He has been this way for years and he does not think it will change anytime soon. All women are evil to Tristan and he doesn’t want anything to do with them. He continues looking around and notices a woman he has never seen before. He knows all the regulars and she is definitely not one of them. She is standing awkwardly against the wall with a drink that appears to be cranberry juice in her hand. Tristan looks her up and down and does his normal routine of rating her appearance. Her large, natural hair definitely catches his attention, pretty face, petite little shape squeezed into a fitted dress, and toned legs defined by 4 maybe 5 inch stilettos. Tristan thinks she is the perfect 10 looks wise. The woman catches Tristan staring at her and she looks away awkwardly. Tristan takes this to mean that is shy as well. She is looking around and Tristan just watches her. Tristan snaps out of his daze and looks away; he doesn’t even know why he was staring. Yes she is beautiful, but pretty faces are always deceiving. Tristan finishes his drink and asks the bartender for another one. Tristan only has two drinks for the night and he decides at 1 am, it’s time to head home. He pays and tips the bartender and then gets up from the stool and walks outside. As soon as he walks outside, he sees the woman arguing with this man. Tristan just shakes his head: wonder what the b***h did, is all Tristan is thinking. Tristan walks forward, but stops in his tracks when he hears what sounds like a slap and hears a woman’s gasp of pain. Tristan turns around and sees the woman holding her cheek and the man with his hand up. Now Tristan may hate woman, but he just doesn’t like when men ever put their hands on a woman. Tristan quickly walks over to the man and grabs his arm and spins him around and the man looks at him like he is crazy.

“Weren’t you ever taught never put your hands on a woman?,” Tristan said.

“N***a get off me. This is none of your business,” the man said while jerking Tristan’s hand off of his arm.

“When you hit a woman in the street it becomes anyone who is watching business,” Tristan said boldly.

“Man whatever. This is MY woman, you mind your own,” the man said.

“I’m not your woman,” the woman said softly.

“B***h what you say?,” the man said.

“I am not your woman Michael! You need to accept that!,” the woman yelled. Michael looks like he is about to hit the woman again, but Tristan gets in front of her and lifts up his shirt and Michael sees a 9 mm handgun. He just glares at Tristan and then looks at the woman.

“This isn’t over Malila. We have a lot to talk about,” Michael said. Michael just turns around and walks away and disappears around the corner. Tristan pulls his shirt down and then starts to walk away.

“Wait!,” Malila yelled. Tristan just shakes his head and Tristan hears Malila’s heels clicking as she tries to walk towards him. He hears her picking up speed and she gently touches his arm and then stands in front of him and Tristan just stares at her. He notices her left cheek is slightly red from the slap and her eyes are glassy from tears.

“I….I just want to say thanks for what you did. I really appreciate it,” Malila said shyly. Tristan just nods his head and walks past her.

“Wait…..what’s your name?,” Malila called out. Tristan just ignores her and keeps walking and Malila watched him disappear into the dark. She wanted to thank him personally, but guess she won’t get the chance. Tristan gets to his car and takes the keys from his pocket and unlocks the car doors and gets in the car and just sighs heavily. What he just did was so stupid. He doesn’t know this n***a Michael or what he is into to, Michael could come at Tristan for retaliation. And he did this stupid s**t over a woman?! Yes she got slapped by a man, but hell Tristan doesn’t know her. Why would he stand up for a woman, when he swears he hates every last one of them? Tristan just shakes his head and Malila pops into his mind. She has to be one of the most beautiful women Tristan has ever seen and her sweet smelling perfume is still lingering in his nostrils. Tristan just puts Malila into the back of his head and speeds off home; what is happening to him?

A few days pass and Tristan has not seen Malila and he has not called her. He has thought about calling her just to say sorry because he knows he was wrong. He just can’t believe what he said to her and he honestly didn’t mean it. He does not think that Malila would just be good for p***y, he thinks she is better than that and he hates that he even feels this way. Malila gives Tristan a feeling he hasn’t felt in a very long time, and he just doesn’t know how to handle it. He hates it when his feelings are put out in the open; that is why he is so detached from everyone. He hates starting new relationships because from Tristan’s experience, they only end in pain and heartbreak. He has been hurt enough by women, but at the same time Malila is different. Something about her just attracts Tristan so much and as crazy as this may sound, he wants to get to know her. Right now, it’s Tuesday evening and Tristan is at the gym for his nightly workout. He tries to workout at least three times a week; Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are his preferred days. His card is swiped and he walks towards the weight room. As he is walking though, he sees a woman in the workout room for classes by herself. She is stretching and right now she is bent at her waist and her hands are pressed into the floor. Tristan knows it’s Malila by her hair. He really wants to talk to her, but she isn’t sure if she would want to talk to him. He has to be bold though, so Tristan opens the door and walks in. Malila extends up and when she sees Tristan a smile forms across her face and she isn’t even sure why! This man has been nothing but mean, but yet she is still very attracted to him. Tristan takes a deep breath and moves closer to her.

“Hey Malila,” Tristan said shyly.

“Hey Tristan….you working out today?,” Malila asked.

“Yeah….what about you?”

“Well I am trying to put together my routine for my class on Saturday.” Tristan just nods his head and Malila grabs her left ankle and pulls it up and out and leans her chest towards the ground to stretch out her leg. Tristan just watches and notices how flexible she is: “D**n she’s flexible! I wouldn’t mind having her twisted up like a pretzel in my d**n bed,” Tristan thought. Tristan snaps out of his sexual daze and Malila looks at him.

“Malila…..I need to say something,” Tristan blurted out.

“Sure Tristan, what is it?,” Malila said.

“…Uh…I wanted to…I’m….I’m sorry for what I said to you at lunch at Saturday….I didn’t mean it.”

“Is that why you tried to call me right after it happened? To apologize?”

“….How did you know it was me?”

“You just told me that it was,” Malila said while grinning. Tristan just narrows his eyes at her and Malila laughs at bit.

“No matter what face you make, you just don’t look mean to me…’re too handsome for that,” Malila said.

“…..Thanks,” Tristan said while looking away.

“….Can you help me stretch?”

“….Uh….sure.” Malila smiles and she sits on the floor and Tristan does the same. Malila spreads her legs out and Tristan does the same. Malila extends her arms out and Tristan just looks at her.

“Hold my hands and then lean back while pulling me forward….it’s a great stretch for the lower back. Do ten repetitions,” Malila said. Tristan swallows hard and then he lifts up his arms and holds Malila’s hand and it was like he felt electricity shoot through his entire body as soon as their hands touched. He gasped and Malila just looks at him. Tristan just leans back while pulling Malila forward and Malila stretches forward and puts her head down. Tristan does ten repetitions like Malila asked and then he stops. Malila looks at him and smiles big and she scoots closer to him and Tristan scoots away from her. Malila frowns a bit and backs away from him.

“I should probably go and work out now,” Tristan said while standing up.

“Ok….thanks for helping me stretch,” Malila said while standing up as well. Tristan nods his head and turns to leave the room. Malila sighs a bit and goes to take a sip of water. About halfway to the door, Tristan stops in his tracks and turns to look at Malila and he walks back over to her and Malila just stares at him.

“Uh…d**n I don’t even know how to say this….but…I…I was wondering…..if I could take you out? To an apology dinner tomorrow maybe?,” Tristan asked nervously. Malila just smiles big at Tristan and Tristan smiles on the inside.

“….Like a date?,” Malila asked.

“No dates are for couples and we are not a couple….but just two people going out….maybe even…..getting to know each other a bit?,” Tristan said.

“Tristan I would love to go to dinner with you.”

“Uh…ok….I’ll call you tonight and we can plan it.” Malila just nods her head and moves closer to Tristan and wraps her arms around his neck and hugs him tight.

“…You can hug me back you know?,” Malila whispered in his ear. Tristan just got incredibly turned on by Malila whispering in his ear, even though she said nothing sexual. He is hard as a rock right now and can’t do a d**n thing about it. He knows if he touches her, he will just be even more sexually frustrated so he just keeps his hands at his sides. Malila pulls away from him and just stares at him. She gently bites her bottom lip and then steps back away from him.

“You enjoy your workout Tristan,” Malila said.

“Thanks Malila…you too,” Tristan said. He just turns and walks towards the door and leaves in a hurry. He can’t believe he actually asked Malila out, but Tristan smiles at the thought of her accepting. Tristan can’t even remember the last time he smiled, especially when it came to a woman. Malila has this grip on Tristan and Tristan can say he doesn’t even mind. Maybe she was right, maybe Malila can prove him wrong and turn him from the cold-hearted person he has grown to be.

Tristan wakes up Saturday morning aggravated and horny as hell. He could not stop thinking about Malila at all last night, and he hardly got any sleep. Also, she got his manhood hard when she hugged him and he’s been that way ever since. He just knows he needs some p***y and fast. He sits up in his bed and looks at the clock and sees it’s only 8:23 am. He picks up his phone and starts to scroll through his contacts. He stops when he comes across the name Angela, one of his numerous hoes. Angela though, gives the best head Tristan has ever had and has some of the best p***y he has ever had as well. He dials her number and puts the phone to her ear. Angela picks up on the third ring.

“Hello?,” Angela said tiredly.

“It’s Tristan…..come over,” Tristan demanded.

“Mmm….you horny?”

“H**l yeah….how soon can you be here?”

“Give me thirty minutes.”

“Ok don’t keep me waiting.” Tristan hangs up and sets his phone back on the dresser. He looks at Malila’s number there and he sighs. He picks it up and stares at it and admires her feminine handwriting and the heart next to her signature. He snaps out of his daze and shakes his head.

“Man I’m trippin’,” Tristan said to himself. He sets down the piece of paper and thinks about something: why hasn’t he thrown the piece of paper away by now? Does Tristan actually want to call her? He just puts thoughts of Malila in the back of his mind and gets out of the bathroom and brushes his teeth and washes his face. He then sits on the bed and waits for Angela. 25 minutes later, Tristan hears a knock on his door. He gets up and opens the door and sees Angela. She smiles a bit and Tristan moves to the side and she walks in and takes off her coat and shoes in a hurry.

“Where today? The couch, the bed?,” Angela asked.

“The couch,” Tristan said. Angela smiles and they both walk over to the couch and Tristan sits down and Angela kneels down in front of him. She always knows the deal: head first, then p***y. Angela feels on Tristan’s d**k through his boxers and looks at him.

“You know I hate that teasing s**t,” Tristan said. Angela bites her lip and slides his boxers down to his ankles and Tristan kicks them off. Angela grabs his d**k and takes all of him into her mouth. Tristan just bites his lip and tilts his head back against the couch. Angela licks every inch of Torin and then lifts his d**k up and sucks on his balls; she knows he loves that. Tristan is not a real expressive when it comes to sex; he rarely moans or grunts or anything like that. He just bites his lip and closes his eyes as Angela bobs her head back and forth on him, while making sure his d**k is very wet. Tristan grabs Angela’s head and grips a portion of her hair and moves her head back and forth. Angela can take this and she does not gag at all. Tristan continues likes this, until he shoots his cum right in her mouth. He pulls his d**k out and watches as Angela swallows. He gets up and goes into his bedroom and gets a condom and then goes back out to the living room.

“How you want me?,” Angela asked.

“Doggystyle,” Tristan said. Angela smiles and nods her head and stands up from the floor and she takes off her pants and panties and gets into doggystyle on the couch. She gently rubs her p***y and Tristan can see she is wet. He takes the condom out of the wrapper and slides it on and then slides right into Angela. Angela is very expressive and within a few minutes, Tristan has her screaming into the couch pillows. Tristan just grips her hips or her hair as he thrusts fast and deep inside of her. Angela isn’t tight, but she isn’t loose either. She has just enough grip for Tristan to feel anything. 15 minutes later, Tristan feels himself about to climax. He slaps Angela’s a** and he pulls out and Angela gets on her knees and takes off his condom and Tristan jerks off and Angela just has her mouth wide open. Tristan shoots his cum into her mouth once he climaxes and then watches as Angela swallows. Angela licks her lips clean and then stands up and puts her panties and pants back on. She fixes her hair and then just leaves Tristan’s condo without saying anything to him. Tristan locks his door and then sits in the chair he has placed next to the window in the living room. He opens the window and then lights a cigarette. He takes a deep inhale and then exhales out the window. “These women ain’t good for nothing but p***y,” is all Tristan is thinking right now. One thing he hates is that how easy women can be. Tristan met Angela one night at the bar, f**ked her in the bathroom the same night they met and even took her home that night and then f**ked her silly. When he woke up, she was gone, but left a note with her number telling him she would be more than happy to give him sex whenever he needed. He just laughed and said to himself “that’s all your good for anyway.” Tristan has countless memories of saying sexual things to women at the bar, and then f**king them the same night. It was all so easy to him and he knows he will never have to worry about getting p***y. S**t when he saw Malila at the bar, of course he wanted to f**k, but it was something about her that stood out, something that told him she isn’t easy. Tristan just laughs aloud and reminds himself, that with the right words, any women can he charmed out of her panties, even on the first night. Tristan has no problem f**king women, he just doesn’t want to get attached to one of them. He is a man and he still has needs, and he needs women to fulfill those needs and nothing more. Tristan finishes his cigarette and then he goes into the bathroom and brushes his teeth again and then changes into a beater and basketball shorts, since today is one of Tristan’s gym days. He gets a bottle of water from the fridge, grabs his wallet and keys and then leaves his condo and heads to the gym. He goes in and the lady at the front desk swipes his gym card and then Tristan goes into the gym. He looks around and it isn’t too crowded yet; it’s only about 9:25 on a Saturday morning. Torin stretches and then does his daily 45 minute workout of a mix of cardio and weight training. Once he does his cool down, he takes a few large sips of his water and then leaves his weight room. As he is leaving, he sees Malila come out of one of the smaller gym rooms, where special classes are held.

“You’ve got be f**kin’ kidding me,” Tristan whispered. Malila sees Tristan and she smiles big and waves and walks over to him.

“Hey Tristan,” Malila said.

“Why are you always everyplace that I am?,” Tristan said.

“I’m not sure…’s coincidence I guess….I just started teaching an aerobics class here today.” Tristan looks her up and down notices her fitted beater, short spandex shorts, and toned arms and especially her toned legs and her stomach looks flat from what Tristan can see. She has her hair in a slicked back bun and Tristan notices how beautiful her face really is.

“Do you work out here every Saturday?,” Malila asked.

“Yeah…..why haven’t I seen you here before?,” Tristan asked.

“Well I just moved here to Richmond, Virginia only about a month ago and I just started working out here earlier this week. I will teach this class every Saturday though.” Tristan just nods his head and Malila looks away awkwardly.

“Um… you want to go get lunch or something? We could both go home, shower and change and then meet at that small Italian restaurant on Smith Street? Say 12?,” Malila asked nervously.

“….No that’s ok….and you know I found the piece of paper with your number in my pocket. I didn’t take it the first time, so what makes you think I wanted it?,” Tristan asked.

“I know it was kind of bold….I just wanted you to have it….you probably threw it away huh?” Tristan just looks at Malila and opens his mouth, but no words come out. If he says he threw it out, that would be a lie, but she can’t know that he kept it either!

“It’s none of your business what I did with it,” Tristan said rudely. Malila just looks at him and a smile forms across her face; she knows he kept it.

“What you smiling for?,” Tristan said in an aggravated tone.

“No reason…I will be at that restaurant at 12… are more than welcome to join me. I would love your company,” Malila said. She walks away and Tristan just watches her walk and his eyes travel down her back to her firm butt and toned legs. Tristan watched her walk until she disappeared from his view and then snapped out of his daze. “D**n Tristan stop tripping over this woman!,” Tristan said in his mind. Tristan just shakes his head and walks out of the gym and goes to his car and just thinks. Malila invited him to lunch but he does not want to go. “Why not?,” Tristan questions himself. Tristan refuses to get attached to any woman, but at the same time Malila is so attractive to Tristan. She is beautiful on the outside, but she is also very kind-hearted, Tristan can tell that much already.

“Tristan, stop this. All women are the same,” Tristan said to himself. He just speeds off and heads home. He takes a shower and then lotions up and comes out to his bedroom with a towel dressed around his waist. He looks at the clock and sees it is only a little before 11. Should he go to lunch with Malila? Would it be rude to just leave her hanging? Tristan decides against it and he puts on a nice pair of jeans and a polo t-shirt. Why is he getting so dressed up to just sit around the house?! Tristan sighs and sits on the bed and he has to be honest with himself: a small part of him wants to go to lunch with Malila. He just knows it will be very awkward, but that’s because he is very cold and can’t hold a conversation without coming off that way. Sometimes he wishes he wasn’t so cold because he wants to let people in sometimes, but at the same time Tristan knows better, especially with women. He just relaxes in the bed and turns on the tv for a bit. He looks and sees the time has passed and it’s now 11:45. He sits up in the bed and decides that since he is dressed, he will go to the restaurant. He puts on some perfume and then he leaves his bedroom and gets his keys and wallet and heads to the Italian restaurant on Smith Street. He parks his car kind of far away and he actually sees Malila sitting at a two person table outside. She sips her drink, which looks like ice tea with lemon. She is looking around and keeps looking at her watch. Tristan look at his watch and sees it is 12:07. He doesn’t even know what he is doing here! He is so nervous and he doesn’t even know why! He really needs a cigarette right now, but he doesn’t want to smell like smoke. He takes a deep breath and then gets out of the car. He locks his doors and then walks to the restaurant. When Malila sees him, her face lights up and she stands up and waves, while smiling that beautiful smile of hers. Tristan notices the summer dress and sandals she has on and he notices how her hair is now out in its natural state. He is starting to realize that he really loves her hair. “Wait love her hair?,” Tristan is thinking. “You better get it together,” Tristan thinks to himself. He walks over to the table where Malila is and she bites her lip. “D**n! She looks sexy as f**k right now,” Tristan thought to himself.

“Hey Tristan,” Malila said.

“Hey Malila,” Tristan said.

“I’m glad you came.” Tristan just nods his head and Malila moves closer to him and stands on her toes as she wraps her arms around Tristan’s neck and hugs him. Tristan just let the scent of her hair and feel of her body overtake him. Malila is doing something to Tristan and he is not sure how to feel about it. Malila pulls away from him and Tristan just looks at her.

“Let’s sit down,” Malila said. Tristan nods his head and then they both sit down at the table across from each other. Malila calls the waiter and Tristan orders his drink of water and he starts to look through the menu. Malila already ordered her food and she is just watching Tristan and Tristan notices; it is making him uncomfortable.

“Why are you staring at me?,” Tristan asked bluntly.

“It’s just…….you are very handsome,” Malila said while smiling a bit. Tristan just narrows his eyes at her and continues looking through his menu.

“….You can’t even say thank you?,” Malila asked.

“You want me to stay or not?,” Tristan said.

“Yes I do….but you don’t have to act so cold….I have been nothing but nice to you.”

“Alright, you don’t know anything about me Malila.”

“Well then tell me something Tristan.”

“Why should I? Huh?”

“You obviously came to lunch with me for a reason.”

“F**k this. I don’t even know why I came.” Tristan pushes his chair back and Malila quickly puts her hand on top of his to stop him from getting up. Tristan looks at Malila’s hand on top of his and then looks at her.

“I’m sorry. You don’t have to go,” Malila said.

“I want to,” Tristan said while snatching his hand from under hers.

“Tristan please don’t go…..I just want to get to know you, honestly. But I can’t do that if you don’t let me in.”

“Who ever said I wanted to get to know you? Huh? Why would I let you in? I don’t even know what possessed me to come here, but I know I regret it,” Tristan spat. Malila just looks at him hurt and nods her head.

“Ok…..I did not mean to offend you in any way though Tristan….I just know that if you let me…..I can prove you wrong,” Malila said. Tristan just raises his eyebrow at her and Malila smiles.

“Prove me wrong? Prove me wrong about what?,” Tristan asked.

“You think all women are evil and just no good….and I know I can prove you wrong,” Malila said boldly. Tristan just laughs and shakes his head at her.

“My mind has been made up for a while….all women are no good and aren’t good for anything but some p***y. That includes you,” Tristan said hurtfully. Malila just stares at him in shock and Tristan sees tears starting to build up in her eyes. “D**n Tristan! Why the f**k did you just say that?!,” Tristan thought to himself.

“….I don’t know how you can be so hurtful to someone you don’t even know….to say something like that to me, is just wrong Tristan….I’m sorry for whoever hurt you, but that does not give you the right to hurt other people,” Malila said while wiping the few tears that fell. Tristan just feels awful right now and that’s even an understatement. He knows he f**ked up and he doesn’t think that Malila will even want to sit with him for the rest of her lunch. He just gets up from the table and leaves the restaurant. He gets to his car and gets in and quickly pulls out a cigarette and lights it and inhales. He hits his steering wheel in anger. Sometimes he can’t even believe how cold he is. He can see Malila from his car and he just watches her. He sees how hurts she looks and knowing he is the cause of that, just doesn’t sit right with Tristan at all. He goes into his back pocket and pulls out Malila’s number; yes he brought it with him. He looks at it and dials it and puts his phone to his ear. He watches Malila pick up her phone and he hears her say hello. Tristan just got nervous and he hung up without saying anything. Tristan yells out in frustration and he starts up his car and just drives home, thinking about Malila the whole way. Would it really be so bad if Tristan did get to know Malila? No it wouldn’t be, but in Tristan’s eyes, it would be bad if he let Malila get to know him. Why is Tristan so scared to take a risk?

So three days pass and it’s Friday. Malila cannot get the mystery man out of her head and she wants to see him again. So she is planning to go to the bar tonight where she saw him. She isn’t sure why he has such a hold on her, but she wants to get to know him. She knows that may be an impossible task seeing as how cold he is, but she wants to try. She is getting ready and she wears a nice fitted dress, stilettos and she wears her hair out. Once she is ready, she gets in her car and heads to the bar at around 11:35. She goes in and looks around and sees him sitting in the same spot that she first saw him and he is holding a glass. Malila takes a deep breath and walks over to the bar counter and sits right next to him. The man looks at her and raises his eyebrow as he looks her up and down and then he rolls his eyes.

“You stalkin’ me now?,” the man said.

“No….it’s just…there’s something about you and I wa-,” Malila said.

“You want what? I don’t mean to be rude, but me and woman just don’t mix alright?”

“How can you say that? You don’t even know all women.”

“And I sure as hell don’t want to get to know all women. Not even you.” Malila just looks at him a bit hurt and Tristan notices and he takes a sip of his drink.

“….Why are you so cold?,” Malila asked.

“….You don’t know anything about me,” the man said while looking at her and narrowing his eyes. Malila just nods her head and looks down and notices his driver’s license on the counter. She looks closely and sees his name is Tristan. She smiles to herself and then looks at him.

“…..So your name’s Tristan?,” Malila said. Tristan just looks at her and she smiles at him and he just looks away and finishes the rest of drink.

“Excuse me bartender? Can you please give Tristan a refill? And can I get a cranberry juice please?,” Malila said. The bartender gives Tristan another Hennessey on the rocks and the cranberry juice and then Malila goes into her purse and pulls out the appropriate bills for the drinks and tip and slides it to the bartender. She takes a sip of her drink and looks at Tristan and he is just staring at her. He gets his driver’s license and just gets up from the counter and walks away and outside. Malila quickly gets up and goes after him and she sees him outside against the wall lighting a cigarette. She walks over to him and stands in front of him.

“So you won’t even accept a drink from me?,” Malila asked.

“No because then I would owe you something and I hate having to owe something to people…..especially a d**n female,” Tristan said rudely.

“You don’t owe me anything Tristan….if anything I owe you….if it weren’t for you, I am not sure what Michael would have done. So I thank you for that.” Tristan just blows out smoke and Malila waves her hand to get the smoke away from her face.

“….Let’s go back inside Tristan….you can enjoy your drink,” Malila said.

“Let’s? There ain’t no us….I don’t need to do anything with you,” Tristan spat.

“…Who hurt you so bad?”

“What? B***h please don’t come at me like you know s**t about me or my life,” Tristan said in Malila’s face.

“And you shouldn’t be calling me a b***h seeing as you don’t know anything about me or my life either!” Torin just backs away and inhales from his cigarette and then exhales. He throws his cigarette to the floor and steps on it and walks away. Malila heavily sighs and she follows after him.

“Tristan wait,” Malila said.

“Are you stupid or something? I don’t want anything to do with you, why don’t you get that?,” Tristan said while turning to face her.

“No...I’m not stupid….I just…..ever since last Friday…..I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you…there’s just something about you that I-,” Malila is cut off.

“Please just stop. I don’t care about your feelings alright? Go find a n***a that does,” Tristan said. Tristan turns to walk again and Malila quickly walks and stands in front of him and stops him from walking around her and Tristan just sighs heavily and stares at her.

“Look, you’re really starting to piss me off miss,” Tristan said.

“My name’s Malila,” Malila said.

“I really don’t care.” Malila just sighs and she goes into her purse and takes out a small piece of paper and scribbles something down and then hands it out to Tristan. Tristan just looks at her like she is crazy.

“I normally don’t do this….but something really attracts me to you. So….here’s my number. You can call me or text me whenever you want to,” Malila said sweetly. Tristan just shakes his head and laughs a bit and he walks past Malila without saying a word. Malila turns to watch him walk and she is hurt, she can’t even lie. Tristan is just so cold and it just shocks Malila that someone can be that way. Walking away from Malila was SO hard for Tristan to do, but he was not about to take her number. Something about Malila attracts Tristan too, but he honestly does not see himself talking to Malila or any other female. He rather die alone than be put through the pain and hurt he has been through with women. He thinks about their conversation and he feels kind of bad he called her a b***h. Once he is a good distance away, Tristan turns back around and he sees Malila and some man talking. The man looks like he is trying to spit his game, but he sees Malila shake her head and say “no” and the man walks away. Malila looks forward and she sees Tristan watching her. Malila smiles a bit and waves at Tristan and Tristan takes a deep breath. Tristan was just so rude to Malila and she still is nice to him and Tristan just doesn’t understand. He looks at his watch and sees it’s only a little after 12 am. It’s still pretty early. Tristan walks back towards the bar and Malila smiles when she sees him do this. Tristan notices how beautiful Malila’s smile is and he finds himself caught in her smile. He gets this weird sensation in his stomach, like butterflies and he does not like the way that feels at all. He stops in his tracks and he pulls out a cigarette. Tristan smokes when he is nervous or stressed, which is usually majority of the time. Now he is nervous and he has no idea why! He lights it real quick and takes a long inhale and Malila just looks at him and he looks at her. Tristan takes a few more puffs and then puts out his cigarette. He walks to the bar door and opens the door and Malila smiles and walks in. Tristan walks in behind her and they sit at the bar and the bartender gives them the drinks they ordered before they left. Tristan takes a few sips and Malila does the same.

“So….what changed your mind?,” Malila asked.

“….I think….well….,” Tristan said.

“Just say it,” Malila said while laughing a bit.

“Well…..I felt bad for being so rude to you. So….I apologize for that….I may not like women, but I know I shouldn’t act like an a**hole either….calling you a b***h was out of line.”

“How can you say you don’t like women Tristan? I may not like some men, but I can’t say I don’t like them all.”

“Well I can….I don’t trust anyone, but especially no woman.”

“But yet you’re sitting with me at a bar, and accepting the drink I bought for you….so I can’t be all bad right?”

“Wrong….I’m not about to let a free Hennessey go to waste.” Malila just looks at him to see if that was sarcastic, but she can tell that it wasn’t.

“Wow….well I just know that no matter how cold you act, there has to be someone that you care about.”

“Yea, myself.”

“What about your family, or friends?”

“Don’t have either.”

“No parents or siblings?”

“Nope.” Malila just looks away and takes a few more sips of her drink.

“…..How would you feel about having a friend?,” Malila asked.

“Don’t really see the point,” Tristan said uninterested.

“You could have someone to talk to if you needed it….maybe when you are stressed or nervous, you could talk to someone instead of smoking a cigarette.” Tristan looks at Malila in shock; was it really that obvious that is when he smokes? Why can Malila read Tristan so well? Tristan does not like when his feelings are exposed; he needs a cigarette right now! He gently taps his finger against his thigh and Malila notices this.

“….Do I make you nervous or something?,” Malila asked. Tristan just sips his drink and Malila smiles to herself. Malila and Tristan finish their drinks and have a little small talk. Once Tristan is done with his drink, he stands up from the bar and Malila stands up as well.

“You’re leaving?,” Malila asked.

“Yeah. Two drinks and that’s it for me. I don’t like to stay too long,” Tristan said.

“Ok….it was nice talking to you, even though I know you were not very interested in the conversation….will I see you again?”

“I’m not sure about that….only time will tell I guess.” Malila smiles a bit and she moves closer to him and Tristan backs away. Malila just wraps her arms around Tristan and hugs him gently. Tristan did not hug her back, let alone touch Malila. He takes in the scent of her hair and it smells so good. Also feeling Malila’s body against his caused his manhood to become a bit excited. After a quick embrace, Malila pulls away and looks at Tristan.

“Have a good night,” Malila said. Tristan nods his head and then he leaves the bar. Malila has Tristan feeling so strange and he pulls out a cigarette the minute he leaves the bar. There is no way that Tristan can have any sort of feelings for Malila, right? Tristan just thinks about Malila’s hair and how good it smelled and how it felt against his cheek and neck. He thinks about her cute little figure and that smile, that big and beautiful smile.

“Tristan what is happening to you?,” Tristan whispered to himself. Tristan smokes his cigarette as he walks before getting in his car and heading home. Once he gets home, he slips off his shoes and goes to his bedroom. He lifts up his shirt and takes his gun out and places it on his dresser. He takes off his shirt and beater and puts them in the hamper. He slides off his jeans and checks his pockets like he normally does, and he finds something. In his back, left jean pocket he pulls out a small piece of paper. He opens it and sees Malila’s phone number followed by her signature with a heart next to it. How did he not feel her slide this into his back pocket?! Tristan was too wrapped up in her body against his and the scent and feel of her hair, that’s why, Tristan reminds himself. Should he call her? Tristan really does think about it, but he reminds himself that no woman is worth trusting. He throws the piece of paper on the dresser and then puts his jeans in the hamper. He lies down in his bed and turns on the tv. He can’t even concentrate on the tv though because all he can think about is Malila.

“D**n! Why can’t I get her out of my head?,” Tristan said aloud. He turns his head and looks at the crumbled piece of paper on his dresser with Malila’s number and seriously contemplates dialing her number and just talking to her, but he doesn’t know what to talk about! He just looks away and sighs and stares at the ceiling. Why does Malila make Tristan feel this way?

Malila has not been able to stop thinking about the mysterious man that helped her out this past weekend. She is sitting in her office thinking about him at this very moment. He was so handsome to her, but yet so mysterious. She didn’t even get his name, and that has been bothering her ever since that night. She just reminisces about his tall, lean figure and the tattoos she could see exposed from his short sleeved shirt he had on that night. She noticed the small freckles he had placed generously over his cheeks and Malila can’t help but smile at the thought of the man’s handsome face. She snaps out of her daze and looks at the clock and sees it’s 12:23 pm Tuesday afternoon. Her lunch break started at 12:15 and she was too busy daydreaming to even notice. She gets her wallet from her desk and then leaves her office building and walks down the street to find something to eat. As she is walking, she sees the mystery man sitting on a bench smoking a cigarette. She just stares at him from a distance and admires him. She really wants to thank him for what he did for her the other night with a nice gesture. She takes a deep breath and she walks over to the bench and stands in front of him and smiles a bit at her. The man looks at her and then looks away like she is not even standing there and blows out smoke.

“Um… name’s Malila. I am not sure if you remember me from Friday night, but I wanted to personally thank you for what you did for me…..I never did get your name,” Malila said. The man looks at her and then inhales from his cigarette, exhales and then puts his cigarette out.

“Look it was no big deal. You said thank you and that’s enough alright?,” the man said.

“….You aren’t going to tell me your name?”

“Not sure why you need to know.”

“…..Well can I buy you something to say thanks? Coffee maybe.”

“I don’t drink coffee,” the man said while standing up.

“What do you drink?”

“Look….what I did the other night was stupid honestly. I don’t know that n***a you were with and he could come retaliate against me for all I know…..hell I don’t even know you, so I can’t even say why I was trying to help you out….but I did and it’s over. You’re fine and there isn’t anything else we really need to talk about. I don’t need anything from you ok?” Tristan just walks away and Malila just watches him. He comes off so cold and Malila has never meant anyone like that before and she is trying not to take his somewhat harsh words personally. As Tristan walks away, he turns back to look at Malila and he sees her with her head down and she just has a look of hurt across her face. Tristan just shrugs it off and keeps walking. He has been thinking about Malila every day since Friday and he cannot get her out of his mind no matter what he does and he HATES that. He just doesn’t understand why this one woman has some sort of hold on him and he knows nothing about her. Honestly, Tristan doesn’t want to learn anything about her. No woman his even worthy of his time the way he sees it. Tristan just realizes that he needs to come to his senses and get this woman off of his mind.
