I'm a fan (and you should be too) because i love how he expresses him self through his music (almost) every song has some kind of meaning to it and I love how he interacts with his fans and does charity work. I know some of ya'll think he can be self conceited, and yes that may be true but he is also humble and he appriciates (sp?) what all his fans do for him. He is changing whether or not good or bad i can't really be the judge of that.
