Like every1 else, i also got tickets to the concert tomorw,[jan.23] and when i found out it was cancelled i broke down in tears because i was so excited to go i told every1 about it and i got my outfit ready and everything,and then i find out its cancelled. i also was counting down everyday.=/ i love chris brown and im a huge fan of his, and this would have been the first time im seeing him in concert. i here so many rumors to why it is canceled, but im not gunna believe any of it until i hear chris brown say wat rele happened... the rumors were not real. Bow wow specifically said at the show at madison square garden on the 17th that they weren't true. and that, "that guy backstage is like my brother,". Don't try to state things or pass things on that you aren't sure are true. america is seriously too gulliable it's ashame. I LOVE CHRIS BROWN FOREVER!!! so prob. as everybody else on this site, I am a big fan of Chris, but this is the, not first or even second time that i had tickets to a show to be eventually ruined. I had tickets to a previous concert in jersey and the show was just cancelled, again with no explanation. With an another attempt to see him, I got tickets to see his charity basketball game, but after sitting on line for hours they informed us that they have oversold the tickets and we would not get in. And now even more disappointment at the prudential center. I am lucky because i did see him at summer jam and i was able to get some of the worst seats possible to see him in atlantic city this weekend, but when is this going to end?? How many cancelled shows is it going to take before you realize its a great possibility of losing fans.

I got these tickets for my kids because they love Chris Brown, They are 10 and 8 and now their christmas gift is ruined. At least if I had a reason to tell them why it was cancelled it would make it a little better, but we have nothing. Sorry to keep b****n but I gotta vent to someone! Im not even getting my money back in time to by tickets to the next show, sooooo messed up.

I was so upset they cancelled this with no explanation that I wrote to ticketmaster and demanded an answer, lol, not really expecting them to answer. But they did and here is what they said.

concert featuring Chris Brown, Bow Wow, Soulja Boy, Lil Mama, Sean Kingston and Shop Boyz slated for the Prudential Center in Newark Jan. 23 has been canceled.

The lineup will perform at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan on Thursday night. However, at the Mark Etess Arena at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City on Sunday, only Brown and Lil Mama will perform.

Refunds for the Newark show will be available at point of purchase.

The show's promoter, Live Nation, gave no reason for the cancellation in its announcement today.

ok y'all so the prudential center said that the concert was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts.

but it's either on the center's part or on chris' management part as to why the concert isn't being held there.
i think it is chris' management's fault because they already cancelled the concert in boston, maryland and in hartford, connecticut and replaced those cities with two new cities.
but i don't wanna blame nobody so let's just leave it at that.
this really did blow people off.
the touring site, this site, and ticket sites don't even have the same dates, places or info so you don't know who is right.
we definitely deserve a GOOD explanation as to why he can't perform in our city but he can perform in NYC twice on one tour.
this is definitely BS cause i know that like me and other fans, this was the ultimate christmas gift.
especially since it is my first CB concert and i had some good seats.
i put money that i earned toward this concert and it is cancelled?
total and utter BS.
i hope they reschedule this ish cause his concert had some great reviews and a promising performance.

I completely agree that it's upsetting that the Atlantic City and NY dates are still going down as planned. I tried getting tickets to both MSG shows with no luck and was sooooooooo excited to have gotten tickets for this show. Not to be a jerk, but I'm gonna need a better explanation than that there was a 'scheduling conflict'. I got e-mails from Ticketmaster and the Prudential Center confirming the cancellation for the show on Wed. Jan 23rd (not the 21st as the home page shows). I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a potponement/rescheduling. These tickets were expensive and I'm not getting back almost $30 in service fees & postage-not fair!
