i was at school today and watched this video on skid row. i think ive been out there once but i didnt fully hav a comprehension of how bad it is there. sum of the most adorable kids have been living there since they were 9 w/o anyone to care for them and then tonite i went to this meeting called the exchange. this was an event to help raise awareness about slave trafficing that occurs everywhere including America. today slave trade/trafficing is at an all time high. slave trafficing forces young children from trhe age of 5 up to the age of 20 to perform sexual acts for extremely perverted people or children are taken from their homes(anyone under 18) and are trained to kill adults and children or die themselves and lose their innocence. the number of people this effects is mind blowing about 36 thousand just in the U.S. (im pretty sure thats the #. my pamphlet that i got fell under the bleachers) I was anout ready to cry because those are children that are so young and have no option but to do as they are told by slave trafficers. i really want to adopt sum of the kids on skid row and in slave trafficing so that they at least have a chance at a somewat normal life(i say sumwat bcuz after wat they experience life doesnt go bak to anything near wat would b normal for us). So yeah i just wanted to help spread the wor d and help make sum of u aware that poverty in africa and war arent the only thing troubling the world today. if yall wanted to help the cause or learn more heres a couple websites:
