This is a lil sumfin I wrote for my Ma who passed away!!!

R.I.P Hendrika September…
It’s because of you and Pa, this family I’m a member
I remember you’re time of sickness… Alzima’s was the diagnosis
I lived with you everyday… This Grandson was the closest!
I remember you’re day of passing, I had to stay strong
You lie on you’re bed, eyes closed, shrieks & screams filled the passage like it were a song.
I ran from the kitchen, ran to hear you’re last breath
But just like that it was too late, another victim fell to death.

The story goes before you went you turned to Pa & smiled
What a gracious way to go, I’m honoured to be you’re Grandchild
As you walk to the elevator of death, faced with an arrow up or down
Once doors closed you pressed up and gave a lil frown
You know you’re destination, where you belong… In company of you’re King, Him wearing a crown

You’re one person I’ll always remember!!!!

You walked right to the Pearly Gates… Forget the line!
You surpassed all… A true V.I.P of you’re time
Couldn’t find fault with you’re life… You did nothing wrong
Built a legacy from nothing and kept our family strong
One thing you impressed and one thing I’ll always remember:
“Always look you’re best for you never know who you might meet.”
I live by those words & they’ve brought success to my feet.
One day I hope to see you again
But before that day comes there’s a few things I have to fix & mend
Like you… I wanna reach the Pearly Gates & not have anything to defend
