Chapter 1: The Woman With The Bright Green Eyes
I opened my eyes and realized I wasn't in the same place I closed them in. It was dark, quiet and erie, but at the same time I felt someone's presence near by.
I had to find out where I was.
I lifted my arms and then tried to stand, but a sharp pain shot through my skull almost immediately and it forced me back down. Where was I? It was starting to become frightening. I had to keep myself from going insane... the darkness would eventually confuse me... I could go into a state of shock. I needed a plan.
Hoping that the being I sensed would respond to me, I screamed out, "WHOEVER YOU ARE PLEASE TELL ME WHY WE'RE HERE? WHERE ARE WE?"
I waited about 5 minutes. No answer. I hung my head and laid flat on the cold floor that was made of a soft cushion, but felt like concrete at the time.
"Relax. You're gonna be here for a minute." The being finally replied. I jumped up and sat on my knees.
"Who are you? Where are we?" I asked frantically.
"I don't even know myself, all I know is why we're here... and from the looks of it you lost your memory..." It said softly.
"Lost my memory?"
"Yeah... definitely. Oh and as for who I am, my name is Chris..."
"So uhh... Chris? Why exactly are we here?"
"Well for one thing, we were in the middle of a mission."
"Mission? Oh right we're agents..."
"Yay you're beginning to remember." He said sarcastically. I made a face. Not like he could see, but if he was a smart as I thought, he would know.
He chuckled. "I'm just messing around. Anyway, we were sneaking around in a very dangerous place..."
"The Serette Estate?" I cut him off.
"Exactly. The estate is claimed to be haunted, but that's why we were there. To find out what was really going on there."
"Oh oh I remember now! We split up to cover more area. I got a call from you on my radio but instead of it being you, it was someone else... while I tried to learn who it was someone snuck up behind me and drugged me with some kind of drug... I don't know what it was but the minute that needle hit my neck I was out."
He clapped sarcastically. "Congratulations."
"You know what?" I started. He laughed again.
"So do you remember anything else?"
"Well... uhh... I know my name! It's uhh... uhh.." I looked up as if the answer was up there somewhere.
"Oh gosh... geeze your name is Zuri," He spit at me. Man, if only I could see where he was I would beat him to a pulp.
"Ok so anyway my smart ass, after they drugged me I woke up here and that's all I remember. How did you get here?" My memory was now finally restored, and I didn't like it.
"Same way you did, except when they used my radio to contact you, I was already out. I didn't lose my memory though, as you can see," He sassed.
"Oh shut up!" I laughed. "Don't try to make me feel stupid!"
"You don't need me for that, Zuri," He snickered.
We continued to laugh and spit insults back and forth at each other until the lights suddenly turned on and a tall, shapely woman with short hair and bright green eyes stood before us. She looked like a half human half cat.
"Welcome you two. Thank you for visiting my lovely estate this evening." She cooed at us with a mysterious look in her eye. I could tell this was going to be interesting.
She stood in black spiked heel boots with dark green flames on the outer sides, her pants were skin tight, and they started at her waist. Her shirt covered only her bust to the top of the pants. It had an intricate design of vines, roses and thorns woven into the corset design. Strangely enough, the sleeves she wore were connected to the shirt from almost no where, and like the boots, they also had flames on the outsides. She had long dark green nails with diamonds on each tip, her lipstick was of a dark mauve color and her eye make up made her cat-like eyes stand out like moonlight. She was gorgeous, but she looked truly suspicious.
"Since you all are my guests this evening, I'd like to treat you with the utmost hospitality," She purred with a smirk. "I bet you're wondering why you aren't able to stand. All in good time. Now please, follow me..." She trailed off as she wisked around and through the now open door of our chamber. It was a magnificent place. Before she got too far ahead of us, she turned around and looked both of us dead in the eye and continued on. When we began to stand, the sharp pain had disappeared. We looked at each other briefly to check each others' current physical state and then started after the woman.
"Who are you anyway?" Chris questioned cautiously. She stopped almost on a dime and turned slowly.
"Me? Why, I'm Kyani Serette. The heir of this estate." She replied with a sly chuckle.

Chapter 7; Part 3
I made my way back to the room I left Zuri in; she was standing in the corner facing the wall.
"Uhh Zuri? You feeling better now?" I asked cautiously. She stood silent for a few moments before she turned around and glared at me. She looked dazed and completely out of it, she was extremely pale and most of all her eyes were glowing green. When she spoke I saw fangs in her mouth. Maybe I was lunching. “Z. You aight?” I asked.
“Christopher. I’m feeling alright thank you,” She replied. I coulda sworn she sounded just like Kyani when she said it too.
“Fo… fo real? ‘Cause you look a little sick¾”
“I’m fine, Christopher,” She interrupted. I blinked and caught a glimpse of Kyani in Zuri… hurting her. When I opened my eyes again nothing was different.
“Ok… well I saw Kyani just now… she told me some things,” I hesitated. “She told me about y’all when you were younger¾”
“Everything, she said was true, Christopher.”
“I didn’t even say anything yet…”
“She told me you guys talked, so I know.” We stood like pillars on a building staring into each other’s eyes. She twitched a little bit and it scared me like you wouldn’t believe.
“Umm, you sure you’re feelin’ aight?”
“I’d be better…” She started as she floated towards me. “If I had some blood…”
“Some WHAT?” I shivered. She leapt towards me and grasped my neck.
“Some blood. More specifically, YOUR blood Christopher,” She panted as she went to bite me. I knocked her off of me and ran for the door.
“Zuri what in all hell is going on with you??” She laid on the floor holding her head and shaking intensely. I slowly walked over to her and knelt on the floor beside her. She didn’t look at me. I waited a few moments. “Chris… Chris help me She whimpered. I tilted her head up and looked into her eyes. They were glossy from the tears constantly flowing from her eyes.
"Zuri..." She nodded her head back down where it was.
"Chris, leave. Get out of here," She warned.
"But Zuri-"
"LEAVE..." She growled. Her fingernails suddenly got 10 times longer. She firmly gripped my shoulder and pushed me towards the door. "Christopher, you can’t escape your fate," She hissed. I got my ass out of there as soon as possible.
So now I’m running through the mansion again, scared out of my mind and confused as hell. This is not a good look for a light skinned black man.
POV End
Meanwhile, in the Northern wing of the mansion…
Asia’s POV
"That’s great. Just great. Who let Kyani out of their sight long enough to get to those two again?" I barked at the other three. They sat speechless.
"Well... she is the current owner of the estate... we’re powerless against her as long as she’s still the heir you know that," Bri sighed.
"But that doesn’t mean we let her rampage through the mansion causing hell for the Eldest Child and the One!"
"Relax. He’s the one yeah, that means he’s not dumb," Dani concluded. We nodded.
"But he’s a man before he’s the One, and Kyani knows that," Chelsea pointed out. We nodded again.
"Look you guys, Master Serette didn’t want us to interfere with Zuri and Kyani when this day came unless it was asked of us by them," I started.
"And you know Kyani would never ask for our help," Chelsea added.
"And to make matters worse, Zuri doesn’t even remember who we are so she definitely wouldn’t ask us for help!" Dani sighed as she threw up her hands and flopped down on a nearby couch. Just then I received Chris’ thoughts.
"Well, well, well now... looks like someone’s asking for our help after all," I smiled.

Chapter 7; Part 2
"Oh yeah? What kind of things?" I questioned. She chuckled under her breath and circled around me. From within an inch from my ear she began her next sentence by exhaling deeply into my neck.
"Zuri, see, she’s my twin sister," she purred while she circled around me like a vicious lion. I stood straighter than a tree.
"Is that right..." I stammered.
"Most definitely. See, when we were younger it was I who was the favorite. She, being the younger sister, always wanted the shine. My parents paid her little to no mind, and she resented me for it." I took several deep breaths before I finally responded.
"Is that so..."
"Yes, it is," She smirked as she snaked around and faced me.
"She was more powerful than me. She got so frustrated with me at times that she flat out tried to kill me." I squinted my eyes and clenched my fists.
"Zuri wouldn’t do that... she’s not filled with that kind of blood," I defended.
"You think so??" She barked at me. "See when we were about 17 a man came to our estate to ask for one of our hands in marriage for his oldest son. The better-fit wife would be chosen for him. Zuri was determined to show that she was better than me... she locked me away in a closet-"
"Don’t play wit me gurl."
"Okay so maybe she didn’t do that, but she might as well have!" She exclaimed. I scoffed and laughed at her. "What’s so funny?" She huffed.
"You. You don’t really expect me to believe that, do you?" I mocked. She glared at me.
"Would you believe me if I told you the man that came was your father?" She smirked. I froze.
"You’re trying to play games with me now. I’m not an idiot."
"Whatever you say. I know what happened."
"So why hasn’t Zuri told me any of this, if it is indeed true?" She hung her head and chuckled.
"Because when my mother left, she took Zuri with her. My father didn’t want her. He decided that since she was no longer to be recognized as a 'Serette', she should have no memory of her first 17 years... and that was that."
"Really..." I was silent for a few moments while I contemplated what she said. "What are you getting out of telling me all of this?" She examined her nails and flashed her bright green eyes at me.
"I just thought, you know, you should know the truth about the girl you’re 'in love' with," She replied. "But what does she have that could possibly be pleasing to you? Wouldn’t you like woman, more like, me?" She whispered to me as she ran her delicate fingers over the top half of my upper body.
"What... what does she have?" I was at a loss for words. Damn.
"Yes, Chris... I can be all you need and more..." She licked my neck and played with my ears. "You’re part of my entity for infinity... can’t you see that Chris?" I was lost in her in sea of words when a crack of thunder broke my trance. "Ah... it’s raining... the rain... what a calming force of nature..." She curved her head around and looked up at me with fierce eyes. I stood there still not moving or even breathing, as it seemed. Kyani’s body was calling my name. I wanted her, and I was close to losing my composure when I realized I had left Zuri alone.
"I... I have to go. I gotta get out of here. See ya round, Kyani," I panicked as I rushed out the door. She relinquished her grip on me and fell to the ground disappointed.
I couldn't help but wonder about all the things Kyani said. Zuri hadn't mentioned anything about it, but if what Kyani said is true then how could she? She had no memory of it. There was nothing I could do to find out the truth but ask someone who had also been there... I had to find those women. But first, I gotta check on Zuri.
"You will not slip through my fingers, Christopher..." She murmured under her breath.

Chapter 7: The Hidden Part of Me
Chris’ POV
We had been treading through the mansion for almost a full hour and Zuri still hadn’t regained consciousness… or at least that’s what I thought. We arrived in an intricately decorated room with deep green velvet wallpaper and matching velvet carpet. There were several different couches, lounge chairs and love seats inside. I found the prettiest couch and laid Zuri down on it.
"Aight Zuri. You stay here and rest. I’ll be back to get you later, "I whispered to her. I kissed her on the forehead and quietly tip toed out the room.
I found myself wandering aimlessly at this point when I was sure I knew where I was going. The walls all started to look the same and I felt as if I wasn’t even really moving… something was moving me...
Suddenly I blinked and realized I was now in a room with only one door and 4 strategically placed windows. Without warning, Kyani appeared before me.
"Miss... Miss, Kyani?" I stuttered.
"Oh yes Chris. It is me," she cooed. "So you love her do you?"
"Umm... who-"
"Zuri, Chris. Do you love her?"
"I... I do. Yeah..."
She stared at me with piercing eyes. "Then there's things you must know about her."

Hey peeps its been damn near forever and a day since I ran this lol but just so y'all know I'm not neglecting you, here's an update on me! =]
-School's been whipping my ass lately... but I managed to come out of first quarter still eligible so I'm happy about that. Now I have just about straight A's X].
-I quit cheerleading... it's just not fun anymore. The whole aspect of cheerleading isn't appealing to me anymore and its way too time consuming for me right now.
-I'm in a dance t.v. show and our first episode premiered Oct. 22. The second show premiered on wednesday and you can watch it again tomorrow sometime during the day.. every 4 hours lol

"Zuri huh..." Asia pondered staring at a picture on the wall. "What a beautiful name..."
"Asia! She doesn’t remember us!" The smaller one panicked.
"Of course she doesn’t Dani, her memory was erased remember?" Asia reminded.
"Oh right. Well you know her memory is still there somewhere right?"
"How could I forget.." She trailed off staring at Zuri. She walked over to her and placed her hands on her face. "I remember the day you were born... your parents were so happy... but most of all your father was ecstatic. He loved you so much... And then the day your mother took you away..." Zuri’s eyes started to change to this deep scarlet color. She looked as if she was in a trance.
"My... father?" She asked softly.
"Yes. You do have a family you know," Dani answered.
"So, are you guys part of my... family?" Zuri asked. They got ready to answer but were cut off by a sharp loud noise that was hard to hear and yet it disturbed Zuri and the two women. They shook their heads in pain and disappeared into the darkness.
"Yes... we ARE your family..." Dani said as they disappeared. Zuri stood dumbfounded before she finally just passed out. I caught her and picked her up.
"I knew there was something special about her, but I didn’t know she was a princess! Well, she’s most likely not going to remember any of this, so I might as well continue on through the mansion until she wakes up again." I thought to myself as I carried her and started the rest of our mission through the mansion. "But... now I’m finally beginning to realized my true feelings for her…and I think I’m really beginning to fall in love with her..." I stared at her angelic face hoping she wasn’t channeling my thoughts in her sleep like she loves to do but a part of me wanted her to anyway. I wanted her to love me the way I loved her. I felt it in her. She loved me but she was afraid. What was she afraid of? I have to find a way to show her how I truly feel...
