Chris Brown is a reminder of what it means to persevere and grow in your craft, your heart and in life.
Ok, i admit it, my interest in Chris Brown started because he looked like someone I knew back in the day. Add that to the fact he can dance and entertain as well as he sings - and well...I was hooked.

.....I never got a chance to meet Chris Brown when I was on the radio and number one in Arbitron ratings here in the south. (im from up top, but...long story how I got down here. LOL). I never got a chance to meet him at any of the studios I've been to, and I've never run into him at any functions, parties or listening events.
So whenever I heard his music, watched a video or an interview - I had the pleasure of being no different than any other person out there - an admirer of his art and intrigued by the man he was becoming.
And even with the pitfalls, mistakes, and growing pains that Chris Brown has faced, he's managed to prove that he is an excellent entertainer and artist and a humble man and deserved the public's forgiveness, respect and support.
I have a few would've, could've, should'ves in my own life - and when I see how Chris Brown has reinvented himself in his craft with diversity and class - it is a reminder of what it means to fall down, get back up and soar.
Mr. Brown, I may never get to be on your team, meet you or even give you a hug - but i'm in your corner - praying for you, believing in you and looking forward to continuing to be proud of your accomplishments in the future.
Take care. :)
