I sat there in class staring at my teahcer, Mr.Brown Brown not even paying attention to the lesson he was teaching. No wonder I never passed his classes.
"Ms. Robinson, are you paying attention" he asked me.
"Uh....uh...." was all I could make out.
"How about you take a seat in the front row." he said signaling me to the front seat.
I felt eyes watch me as I walked down the aisle to the front seat.
I felt embarrassed. He handed out assignments and sat down at his desk. I took a quick glimpse of him and recognized he was fixated on me already. All of a sudden he winked at me playfully. I stared to blush and I guess he could tell because he started to laugh to himself.
Lord knows what I am willing to do to get to him!

Class was over and everyone rushed out towards the door. However, Mr.Brown stopped me.
“Erica, can I see you for a moment” he said gesturing his hand to come to him.
“What….” I said shrugging my shoulders.
“I’ve been monitoring your grades in my class and well, you aren’t doing so good” he said.
“So? It’s just English! My parents don’t even care!” I said shaking my head no.
“Do you wanna graduate?” he asked me impatiently.
“Yea….but I--(gco)”
“But nothing….if you don’t work hard then…I’m afraid you’re gonna have to reiterate the 12th grade” he said looking me directly in my eyes…
Oh god…he looks sooo good….But I gotta hang in there.
“What’s up with these big words?” I asked him.
He laughed for a second.
“I don’t see why a pretty looking girl like you could not be so smart!” he said chuckling.
I looked at him seriously. I did not take it funny.
“So what you tryna say “Mr. Brown”” I said insinuating on the “Mr. Brown” part.
“I’m saying you need extra help in this area” he said looking me up and down barely noticeable.
“You mean like a tutor?” I asked with my eye brows raised.
“Exactly”
“Iono, I mean, my schedule is booked up”
“Doing exactly what?”
“Girl stuff!” I said crossing my arms.
“Look…don’t be surprised when you don’t graduate! Suit yourself!”
“Oh really? You wanna play all tough now?”
“No….I’m tryna help you!”
I stopped for a second. He had a point there. If he tutors me, then………you know!
“You wanna help me now?” I asked him slyly.
“Then meet me in the library after school” I said then stomped out of the classroom. I looked back at Chris. His eyes were fixated on me and he was grinning. I took a deep breath trying not to show expression. Then I walked to my locker.
