Main Characters
Keshia Harper aka YN: The daughter of wealthy business moguls. She has a twin sister but she doesn’t know that. She is 17 and naïve. She’s never seen the bad side of life. She’s never had to struggle; she’s been in a exclusive private school her whole life.
Mr. and Mrs. Harper: Software owners and one of the richest people around. They had a very rough childhood, with Mrs. Harper getting pregnant at the age of 18 with twins Keshia and Kyla. The couple chose to keep one daughter and set the other up for adoption. Now that they are multi-billionaires, they feel guilty about giving up their other daughter.
Kyla Harper/Stevenson: The 2nd daughter of the Harpers, although she doesn’t know that. She now lives with the Stevenson family and has 2 other siblings. She does not know she is adopted. She goes to Jefferson High and is dating JDiggz, who “runs” the school with he’s crew.
Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson: Generous and heartwarming parents of 3 children. They are middle class working people. They have not told Kyla she is adopted, they plan on telling her when she turns 18.
C.Breezy aka Chris Brown: Head guy at Essex high school. He and he’s boys run the school. He’s feared yet wanted by the girls. He has problems at home with he’s step-father and is currently involved in streets in order to make money. He is “dating” Robyn and has beef with JDiggz.
Minnie Rivers: The only daughter of successful lawyers. Her family is wealthy but Minnie hasn’t let that get to her head. She is sweet, kind but still knows how to stand her ground. She refused private school and is attending Essex High. She is known by everyone due to her parents. But no one has problems with her. She’s friendly with Chris and he’s crew but hates Chris "girlfriend" Robyn.

Storyline
Mr. and Mrs. Harpers success has boomed to a whole another level. They are now on the list of the 20 richest in America. But with every success comes a heavy price to pay. They have been receiving threats for their daughter Keshia. Keshia is usually away from home, either at her private school or away on her overseas getaways with her friends. But ever since the threats came pouring in, her parents put a stop to her busy social schedule. Although Keshia doesn’t know about the threats, she suspects something is wrong. Her parents, after much discussion, decided to that it would be best if Keshia spent the remainder of her high school years in Virginia where Mr. Harper’s sister lived. This is where our story begins, Keshia, her parents, Keshia’s bodyguard Mike, and the Harpers chauffer are all at the airport to see Keshia off. Mike would be traveling with Keshia to Virginia to ensure that she safely arrives. The Story begins…

Chapter 4 -Continued
I woke to find myself laid down on my back in leather. Everything seemed blurry to me but I could still make out the fact that I was in a car. I closed my eyes again and tried to relax. My head was pounding. My eyes shot open as I suddenly heard voices around me. There were 2 female voices and 2 males.
Fv#1: She’s awake! I swear to God I saw her eyes open
Mv#1: quite playin games with us, she’s still asleep
Fv#2: For the last time, she aint asleep. She’s unconscious. Oh God, my parents are gonna kill me….and her parents too!
Mv#2: How about yall shut up, your giving the girl a headache
They all turned to see me looking at them. I saw Trey, Breezy, Minnie and a girl I didn’t know. The instant Minnie’s eyes caught mine; she let out a breath of relief.
Minnie: Thank The Good Lord. I thought you were a goner
Me: What happened?
Fv#1: Forget that, you betta be happy you breathing
Breezy: Tanya, shut it
He handed me water bottle and reached for my arm, helping me sit up. Talk about sweetness. Tanya was watching us closely. I couldn’t read her face, it seemed blank.
Breezy: You blacked out in the middle of the fight; it was a damn good thing one of my boys was behind you,
Trey: he caught your ass right before you hit the ground, without him, you’d be layin in one of those hospital beds, unconscious
Tanya: She was lyin here unconscious, wanna tell me the difference?
She was facing Trey now, and from her face expression, she didn’t like him
Trey: What the f***s your problem? Why you gotta be on my d*** all day?
Tanya: (yelling) Nigga you wish I was on your d***, you be wanting al l this. Aint nobody on your d*** but some aid infected b****es
Trey: (yelling) guess that includes you eh?
My head was aching along with my ears. I had a major headache and their yelling was adding to it

The car was silent, until Tanya opened the door and stepped out. Forcefully shutting the door on her way out.
Breezy: Damn…You ok?
He must have seen the pained expression on my face cause he looked at me with concern. How can a thug be so…sweet and kind?
Me: I’m ok….its just my head
Minnie: I need to get you back home right away. You need medication
We quickly said our goodbyes to Trey and Breezy before Minnie got in the drivers seat and drove us back
That night I took some strong Advil and laid my head on my new bed. Not getting up until past noon the next day.

Chapter 4
I was silent the whole car ride home. My first day and I already had enemies. We got to the house to find the table set for lunch. We quickly ate and rushed upstairs to Minnie’s room. We had a lot to talk about.
Minnie: Are you sure you don’t have any siblings?
Keshia: Girl, I told you. I’m an only child
Minnie: I don’t know. Looks like we’re gonna have to wait till we see your parents, to get some answers.
My head was spinning throughout the rest of the conversation. Trying to make sense of it all. We spent the rest of the after noon getting ready for the game. I felt bubbly and light just thinking about it. I don’t know if it was the excitement of all this drama or not but I couldn’t wait to get there. Nothing like this ever happened to me in Malibu. By about 7 that evening, we were ready. I was dressed in white silk loose pants and a matching tank top that stopped above my bellybutton. A pair of white air forces and diamond hoops completed my look.

Minnie was in a pair of dark jeans and a pink halter top that came down in a low V. We set off with my car. We got the park to find it jam-packed. I made sure to stay close behind Minnie as she quickly made her way through the crowd. I looked ahead of me to find Kyla and JDiggz posted up against a fence. Kyla had her back to his chest and his arms were around her. I couldn’t help but envy her; I wanted a man in my life.
Kyla: Girl, this is a basketball game, not a throw down.
She grinned at me to let me know she was joking; I rolled my eyes and gave her smile. I couldn’t help but notice off the corner of my eye JDiggz checking me out. I shrugged it off and turned to see Minnie signaling Breezy to come over to us. My breath got caught in my throat as him and Trey came closer and closer. He finally stopped in front of Minnie and checked over both Kyla and I. A big crowd had formed around us and a bunch of guys came up and stood next to JDiggz. It looked like a fight was about to break, but Breezy kept shut. His eyes kept darting between Kyla and I. Finally they settled on me and our eyes locked for a split second. After what seemed like ages, Breezy turned to Minnie.
Breezy: Guess you weren’t lying,
Minnie: No Duhh
Breezy: My Bad Min
Minnie: It’s cool. But you betta give Keshia the right treatment. She’s my fam
Breezy: Ight Ight,
He licked his lips at me, and I felt myself grow hot. He made a move to turn back and walk away, when he suddenly stopped halfway and turned to JDiggz.
Breezy: Keshia’s gonna be part of my crew real soon, she’s way hotter than this b****
He nodded towards Kyla when he said that.
That’s when it happened. JDiggz jumped Breezy. His crew jumped the opposite crew. Guns came out and people scattered everywhere. I had no idea where to move, where to go, who to go to. I felt myself go faint and blackout on the spot.

Chapter 3 continued-
“Me! You retard, can’t even recognize your own girlfriend?” Kyla pretended to be mad, JDiggz seemed to believe her.
“Sorry baby, its just there’s 2 of you, I gotta be more careful from now on.” He sat behind Kyla and pulled her onto he’s lap. Lucky girl.
Kyla, while playing with her mans hands, looked over at me, “So if we are really twins…I guess we should get to know each other huh?
“There’s not that much you need to know about me,” I replied “there’s the basics, I love shopping, I love collecting cars, and I’ve got 5 so far. I can sing and I love going to the Caribbean”
JDiggz and Kyla looked at me like I sprouted a third head.
“When you say you collect cars, you do mean toy cars right?” JDiggz was the first to speak.
Minnie and I laughed.
“No, I mean real cars like hers” I pointed to Minnie’s Lexus.
“Keshia’s parents are the 11th richest couple in America:” Minnie explained.
The couple just continued to just stare at me, this time Kyla spoke up.
“Wow, so what the hell are you doing in V.A?” She looked at me curiously.
“I don’t wanna talk about it” I looked down at me custom made Nikes. The truth was, I really didn’t know why I was here. The only thing my parents had told me was that I needed to get away from Malibu for a while and to meet my cousin. All of a sudden a wave of homesickness came over me. Minnie snapped me back into attention. She stood up and looked at me
“We gotta go, there are some more people I want you to meet” I stood up alongside her. I turned to Kyla and JDiggz.
“It was nice meeting you, we should hang out sometime Kyla” I got off the bleachers following Minnie.
“Yea sure, I have a feeling I’m gonna be seeing more and more of you” She replied with a laugh.
Me and Minnie stepped into her car and drove off. We were driving for about half an hour when she turned in and stopped at a gas station,
“Girl your tank is full” I reminded her, but she just got out of the car so I followed. She made her way to a crow of about 7. Backed up against a way in the middle of the crowd stood a guy who took my breath away. He was in a red shirt, black jeans and a red bandanna around his neck. Next to him stood a guy with tight braids and a very cute baby face. In between them was a tall light skinned girl, wearing tight low rider jeans and wife beater that stopped at her ribs. As we got closer to them they turned to look at us. The light skinned girl looked shocked and a lot of the guys in the crowd had cold looks on their faces. The head of the squad, the guy in the red, stepped forward.
“Why’d you bring her here Minnie? You trying to start sh**?” He looked me dead in the eye and I felt myself get sweaty.
“Nobody’s trying to start anything, but we gotta talk.” Minnie said, she turned her attention to the light skinned girl who was now holding onto the lead guys arm, and gave her a dirty look.
“Breezy Baby” The girl said to the leader “I’ll beat that b****s ass if you want me to”. She looked straight at me
“Who are you calling a B***?” The chick didn’t even know me.
“Obviously you,” The lead guy came to her defense.
“Chill Breezy, this aint Kyla. Keshia, meet C.Breezy, Trey and uh Robyn.” She sounded disgusted when she said the girl’s name.
Breezy stared at me, and then burst out laughing.
“You must think I’m f*** ed up. I thought we were cool Minnie, now you coming over here trying to mess with my head.” He was staring at Minnie now, her unlike me, wasn’t sweating and instead kept her cool.
“Nobody’s trying to mess with your head Breezy, this aint Kyla, want me to prove it?” How the hell was she gonna prove it?
“Ight then, prove it,” He looked me up and down, and I felt chills run through my body.
“Come to the game tonight down at Westwood park, maybe when you see the both of them side by side, you’ll realize I aint playing” Minnie turned around and made her way to her car, I quickly followed.
Chapter 3
I just stood there gaping. The girl standing across from me was well me. I mean she looked exactly like me. Except for the fact that her hair was curly and she wasn’t wearing any make-up. This couldn’t be happening. How was it possible that she could look exactly like me?
“Alright, both of you need to calm down,” Minnie took both of our hands and led us over to the bleachers. I couldn’t take my eyes off Kyla; it was kind of hard to when she was identical to me.
“This seriously scary, are you like my twin or something?” Kyla kept her gaze on me as well.
“That cant be, I’m an only child,” I shook my head, trying to make sense of all this.
“Ok, look you both are twins, I know it. It isn’t possible for 2 random humans to look exactly like each other,” Minnie said, looking back and forth at me and Kyla.
“Didn’t you hear her, she’s an only child! And I only have 2 other siblings” Kyla looked confused. Hmm, so this was how I looked when I was confused.
“There’s obviously something we don’t know, we need to talk to both of your parents,” Minnie suggested. Just as I was about to point out that my parents were in Malibu, on the other side of the country, JDiggz interrupted us.
“So uh which one of you two is my girlfriend?” He looked a bit nervous but he was trying to hide it though.

Chapter 2
“Minnie! Watch your language!” My mom turned to me in surprise, “Why are you swearing at her?”
I quickly recovered and got my act together.
“I’m just in shock; Ma can you leave us alone for a while please? I wanna talk to Keshia”
Keshia was still sitting on her bed looking just as shocked as my mom.
“Alright, I’ll be downstairs” my mom slowly made her way to the door; she gave me one last LOOK before heading out, leaving me and Keshia alone.
I turned to her “Sorry for the outburst, can I ask you a question?”
Still looking a bit nervous and shocked, she nodded her head
“Do you have any siblings? Say maybe a sister?” I asked as I sat on her king sized bed.
“Umm, no. I’m an only child.” She sounded so innocent, so clueless.
“Okay, this is just creepy” I got off the bed and walked towards her balcony. Every bedroom in our house had one.
“What’s creepy? What’s going on?” There she went again, sounding so naïve and clueless.
“You’ll find out tomorrow, there’s someone you have to meet.” I took her hand and led her out of the room. “As for now, go enjoy your parry, I bet my mom has tons of people she wants to introduce you to.”
And I was right, poor Keshia. I don’t think she remembers half of the people she met. By the time the party was over she had a headache and she went straight to sleep. I let her rest; I knew she was going to have an even bigger headache tomorrow. I could guarantee it.
Next Day
Keshia’s P.O.V
I woke up excited this morning. Although last night was. Odd. I wasn’t going to let that ruin my new life in Virginia. I was determined to start off on a good foot. I spent extra time getting ready this morning. After straightening my hair, doing my make-up and changing I headed downstairs. I found Minnie in the kitchen and she spent the morning introducing me to the house workers. I like Roselyn aka Roses the most. After a quick breakfast, Minnie made a few phone calls, an especially long one to a girl named Kyla and we left. We drove in Minnie’s Lexus, to a nearby park. I got out of the car slowly, I was nervous. Minnie led me to a basketball court and told me to wait there as she quickly said hello to some girls. I looked out on the empty court and decided to shoot some hoops. Just as I got the ball in my hand, I felt a pair of hands come around my waist. I whipped around and saw a tall light skinned guy.
“Slow down baby, it’s just me” He said as he reached for me again. Who the hell was this guy?
“Who are you?” I said backing away, slowly. He looked at me with a confused look on he’s page.
“Baby, this aint the time to be playing games,” He reached for my hand but I quickly stepped back,
“Who says I’m playing games?” I finally couldn’t back up anymore, I hit a fence. Oh God help me.
“Kyla, quite the damn games,” he closed the gap between us and reached over to kiss me.
“JDiggz! Stop!” I heard Minnie’s voice and I sighed a breath of relief. I looked over at her as she came over towards us.
“What the hell is going on here?” He was starting to get pissed.
“This isn’t Kyla, this is my cousin Keshia” She explained, getting in between us.
“Enough with the f*** games, you wanna play this s** Kyla? Go ahead, we’re thru-“He didn’t get to finish what he was saying. Instead a hand had come up from behind him and turned him around.
“What did you just say?” said the voice the hand belonged to.
“What the f””” JDiggz looked back at me then at the girl behind him. “Somebody better explain what the f”” is going on before I lose it.” Yup, he was pissed.
“I can explain, but first J, Ima need you to step aside so Keshia and Kyla can get a good look at each other” Minnie spoke up.
JDiggz did as he was told and moved to the side, leaving me face to face with the girl that was behind him. The minute I looked at her, my mouth fell open. It was like looking at a mirror reflection. Her mouth fell open as well and we both spoke at the same time.

Chapter 1
Keshia Point of View (POV)
My mom turned to me in tears, “Remember to call home regularly and keep us up to date with everything.”
“Mom, I will, come on don’t cry,” I reassured her as tears formed in my own eyes. I reached over and pulled her into a hug. Although I didn’t admit it, I was crushed to be leaving home. I’ve lived in Malibu my whole life. I didn’t want to just get up and leave, but parents insisted so I couldn’t say no.
“I don’t have to remind you this but keep your grades up alright.” My dad said to me as he pulled me from my mother and towards him.
“I will don’t worry,” I hugged my dad hard, and wiped my own tears on he’s expensive jacket, causing him to laugh.
“Flight 315 to Richmond Virginia”
“That’s my flight,” I said. I gave my parents one more hug each before grabbing my Gucci handbag. I walked away from my parents and towards my new life in Virginia.
Minnie POV
I stepped out of my room in slippers and robe and made my way downstairs to the kitchen. I quickly stepped aside and let a few cleaning workers pass as they moved upstairs. My parents were going all out to make sure everything was perfect for my cousin Keshia’s arrival tonight. I was pretty excited when I heard Keshia was going to be living with us for a few years. It was going to be great to have another female my age in the house.
“Roses!” I yelled out my cook’s nickname
“Yes Minnie Mouse” She yelled back her nickname for me,
“I’m hungry” I whined to her as I gave her a good morning hug. I was really close to a lot of the people that worked in my house. Everyone from Roses our cook to our gardener to our housekeeper. I saw them more than I saw my actual parents.
“How about some eggs and bacon?” She suggested
“Sure, why not” I seated myself at the family dining room table and waited.
“So you’re going to be busy with Keshia’s welcome dinner party aren’t you?
“Yes I am, I hope she’s a nice girl” Roses said as she set a plate of food in front of me,
“She sounded nice when I talked to her on the phone,” I said before I stuffed my mouth with food. Keshia and I had talked on the phone when I got the news about her living with us. She seemed really sweet and cool. I had a feeling I was going to like her. I quickly ate and gave Roses a peck on the check before heading to my room. I showered, did my hair, changed my clothes and grabbed my car keys.
“I’m going out” I yelled to no one in particular and left the house. I unlocked the doors to my Lexus and drove away. I made my way to a popular park, and parked my car. The minute I got out of the car my name was being called, what can I say, everyone loves me. I made my way over the basket-ball court where I say Kyla and a few other girls on the bleachers. They were in the midst of watching a basketball game.
“Hey Girls” I made my way to them and say between Kyla and another girl named Tiana.
“Was sup Minnie” Kyla said, her focus still on the game. I turned to see who was playing and realized it was her boyfriend JDiggz. I watched the game with them as JDiggz and he’s team crushed the opposing team. The girls were gonna go get lunch with JDiggz and he’s boys, they invited me to go with me
“I cant, I gotta go home and get some things together, my cousins coming from Malibu to live with us, remember I told you about her” I said as I took my car keys out
“I remember, bring her over here tomorrow, I wanna meet her” Kyla replied as JDiggz pulled her towards him.
“I will” I yelled as I walked away and got into my car and drove home. By the time I got home my parents were home. I found my mom in Keshia’s room going over last minute details.
“Hey Ma,” I gave her a kiss on the cheek.
“Hey Hunny,” as usual she didn’t notice me. I went into my room and looked through my closet, picking out an outfit for tonight’s dinner party.
Later That Night.
I was outside in our garden talking with our guests when my mom called me over.
“Keshia is here! Let me go introduce you two” she grabbed my hand and led me upstairs. We went into Keshias new room and I saw her sitting on her bed. I walked further in to get a better look at her, when I saw her my mouth fell open
