Okay first off I would like to say that it's all in your history about the issues of color, it's just up to you to read it. There is alot of haterd between SOME light-skinned and black-females and male.Second I would like to say there are plenty of FULL BLACK girls who have long hair that is theirs, because I have long hair, so does my mom that grows beauitfully but I just keep cutting it because I HATE IT!!! I mean ANYONE can have long hair if the take time and let it grow. Rob,you make a good point.But I am not sure if it is just that "light" beauty is what they prefer as to what they are taught to prefer or to think is beautiful.The media does not show ALL types of beauty and it makes it look like the rest is ugly while the ones on TV is where it is at.This has nothing to do with skin but it is a good example of how the media makes us define what beauty is.Along time ago people were told from magazines and TV shows that being skinny and flat all over was the way to go.It still goes on today but less.They put women on TV that had huge boobs and made the ones with smaller ones feel inferior.People went out and got breast implants.That big booty craze wasn't around until this century and ever since the media made it seem like it was a great asset for women to have ,men started lusting over women who had a booty and women went out and got implants also.Things keep on shifting and changing.In other countries,their view of beauty is different and at the same time the same because they are influence by "American culture".My point is people can brainwashed to think a certain feature or what not such as skin-colour makes you attractive or not.As long as you start believing in it,you will start to get attracted to it.Now if there was a golden age where dark-skinned women were to rule everything that had to do with beauty and all(there will be a time)then men will start to believe that yes women who are dark-skinned can be just as good-looking.But our society doesn't want that.So,anyone can be attracted to anything,but if people are pushing something in their face telling them that that is whatz up,then they are eventually gonna be apart of the it.Ya feel me?

Yep The Fashion Designer, but hey people have preferences so it's his choice I guess. And of course Gabrielle Union is an exception, she's Gabrielle Union she's a popular face. There aren't that many mainstream dark skinned crushes to men. Also light skinned women are not the only faces in the business, they're just what most guys prefer, and hey it's the cold hard truth,but people like what they like. Remember that party a guy threw, that was called"Light skinned Libra bash" it caused controversy, but skin color is still a big issue in society and I wish it wasn't, I really do.
