|Intro|
I rushed into the bathroom stall and began to cry. I was crying so hard that I started to throw up. I couldn’t believe he just said that to me, that I meant nothing to him. I pulled a small bag full of a powdery substance. I stared at it hard. It all started this way it might as well end this way too. I had nothing to live for anymore. I opened it up then stuck my finger in it then sniffed it up my nose. I repeated the process to the bag was about empty. I stumbled out the stall and hit the floor hard. Everything was blurred and I could feel the anxiety rushing through my body as my breaths became shorter. At 22 I was overdosing on a club bathroom floor, wondering how I got to this point in my life.

|Chapter 2|: Proper Introduction?
Josiah-
It’s been a week since I moved out of my parent’s house and I’m loving it. I was just driving back to my condo from a girl’s day out with my bestfriends, Ashleigh and Jessica . We went out for a mini shopping spree and lunch. We wanted to spend time together before Jess left for NY to pursue her dancing career. It was about 4:00 when I arrived back at my residence. I walked into the lobby of my condo and waved to the doorman. I walked towarded the elevator only to see the guy from earlier in the week. I had been seeing him every now and then and have been giving him the same attitude. I rolled my eyes at him and I guess he caught that because he mumbled something to himself. “What did you say? I don’t think I heard you?” I said with an attitude out of this world. It was something about this boy that really irked me. “What’s yo problem girl?” “Yo broken English is my problem.” I said emphasizing my yo while mocking him at the same time. He chuckled. “I knew you was one of dem stuck up hoes.” “Excuse me?! A hoe?” “Everytime I see yo ass you always got a attitude.”I srunched up my face “ Well get use to it!” I said walking away. He grabbed my arm, “Hold up a minute” I looked down at his hand and snatched away from it. “What!?” “What’s ya name?” I looked at him like he was crazy. “You insult me and now you want my name? I really think you should go about you’re business sweetie.” He smiled at me, “Well my name is Zavier” “That nice to know” I said. “Come on now I’m tryna be nice” I looked at then sighed, “I’m Josiah” “Josiah, that’s beautiful.” I was trying not to blush, it was something about the way he said my name. “So Josiah, how about lunch?” “Um I actually had lunch already.” “What about dinner?” “What’s your deal? You insult me now you want to take me to dinner.? Is this your way of picking up women because if it is it sucks.” He laughed, “I figured we got off to a bad start so why not start over.” I looked at him hard, “Fine.” He smiled even wider, that smile of his was adorable. We exchange information and met up later that day. That dinner changed my life forever.

|Chapter 1|: Leaving The Nest.
4 YEARS EARLIER
This day marks the day I become a woman. Well in my mind. I’m moving out of my parents lavish 8 bedroom mini mansion into a luxury condo in West Hollywood. I made a deal with my parents that as I long as I graduated from high school I could move out at 18 and begin to pursue my acting career. I looked at my father as he closed the trunk of my all white range rover that I got for my 18th birthday a week ago. “This is it dad, I’m off on my own.” He looked at me and smiled, “It surely is. My little girl isn’t a little girl anymore.” My mother came out the house almost in tears. I was her only daughter out of two children. I remember how dramatic she was last year when my brother went off to college but he went down to Miami. I’m only moving like an hour or so away .”Aw my baby is leaving us.” “Mom I’ll be back to visit I promise.” We said our I love yous and goodbyes and I was off to my new fully furnished condo my parents paid for. You could say I was privileged. I was the only girl and I got everything I wanted. Some people may take me as the Hilary banks or Paris Hilton type but I’m truly not that shallow but I do feel I deserve the best because I am the best. Soon I pulled up to my condo and started to unload my clothes. Those were the only things that I brought from my parent’s house. It took my twelve trips to get all my suitcases with my clothes in them up to my condo which was on the 7th floor. I really should have paid someone to do this. While I was waiting for the elevator I looked down and started fumbling with my nails. I heard the elevator ding I waited until it opened and began to walk in when a guy who was coming out bumped into me. “Geesh. Could you watch where the hell you’re going?” I said. He looked me up and down. “What?! You see something you like?” I said with much attitude. He snickered and shook his head then brushed past me. I watched him walk away until he was out of my sight. I rolled my eyes and got on the elevator.
