<a href=>Channing</a> stood at the top of the bleachers and watched as her <a href=>brother</a> took his last shot in the gym. She looked down at her watch.

"Hey!" She called. He looked up at his sister and then down at the ball in his hands. "We've gotta go. C'mon."

He dropped the ball and walked slowly towards the bench where he'd sat his backpack. Channing walked down the bleachers and they met halfway. She rubbed his head and kissed his forehead.

"Did you turn in all of your books?" She asked.

He nodded, "Yeah. I officially don't go here anymore." He said, looking up at her.

She smiled, trying to save face. "Let's hit the road. The movers should be on their way to the house now. It's beautiful, I promise."

He shrugged, "It'll never be home." He mumbled, walking ahead of her.

Channing sighed and followed after her brother. She turned on the radio as they drove out of the school parking lot. Aaron stared lifelessly out of the side view mirror as they drove away from the school. Channing rolled down the windows and got on the highway. Their destination was 400 miles away. 400 miles away from memories. 400 miles away from <em>home</em>.

adding now.

Thank you! Should see an add this weekend :)

Jas is to cute. Wow to be a fly on the wall when Nick met Jasmine and Ryan i'd be like WTF too if I were him lol. Aww Ryan was a lil salty after meeting Nick... It's cool of Channing to still be cool and allow Sade to spend the night at her house and kick it with Jas. Aww glad to see Nathan still on track. Channing asking Aaron and Mariah about there sex lives is important kid nowdays be doing to much for real. Glad Ryan had that talk with him, Channing does to much for him to act the way he does. Especially with that going to his fathers ish. But glad he apologized. Loved the add. Run It!!!!

A lot has changed.
Aaron needs to man up, big time!

Read your stories on BBS Reloaded ; I've been reading this one for a while as a guest. Finally made a username so I can comment !!! Definitely a story I enjoy reading.

Whew lawd idk what I would've done had that been my little brother...Aaron getting beside himself with his smart mouth, but good thing Ryan's there to keep him in check...Nick seemed a little jealous at the game, but I hope he don't stop Sade from spending time with Channing and Jas

WOW!! Channing is a good sister to him, i can see why he was upset, but it wasn't that serious. I love Ryan glad him and aaron have the type of relationship where he can talk to him...RUN IT!!!! gREAT JOB

enjoy (:

Channing was a wreck at 3 AM, waiting for Aaron. Ryan paced the room, thinking of something to do to console Channing.

"I'm not that hard on him..." Channing said softly.

"He's being an a**hole. You're not hard on him at all. He can be really selfish." Ryan said.

Channing nodded and ran her fingers through her hair, when her phone vibrated. She grabbed the phone to see Damon's name. She pressed send.

"Hi Damon." She said, wiping her nose.

"Aaron's here." He said softly in the phone. "He fell asleep. Did something happen tonight? He wouldn't tell me what had gone down."

"We had a small argument. I'm not sure why he left. Will you keep him there tonight and send him home in the morning? I don't want him driving." She said.

"Sure thing. I just wanted to let you know that he was safe. I had a feeling he hadn't told you that he was coming here." Damon said.

"Thank you for calling. I really, really appreciate it." Channing said.

"Of course." He responded.

Channing ended the call and tossed her arms up, "He went to his dad's." She said.

Ryan stopped pacing and looked at her, "Give him an ultimatum." He said. Channing looked up at him. "If he's going to use his father as a crutch whenever he's pissed at you, tell him he can stay there." Ryan said.

Channing nodded, "Let's go to bed." She said, turning off the living room light and going upstairs, with Ryan behind her.

Channing didn't sleep. When Aaron finally returned in the morning, Channing walked downstairs to find <a href=>him</a> on the couch, eating cereal. She folded her arms and leaned up against the steps. He looked over at her and ate silently. He stopped chewing finally.

"I'm sorry." He uttered.

She exhaled, "Aaron...I'm not doing this with you. You're too old to runaway when I piss you off. I treat you like an adult, so it's time for you to act like one. Do you hear me?" She asked.

He nodded and looked over at her. A sleepy Ryan walked downstairs and tossed a look at him.

"Lemme talk to you." He mumbled, walking into the kitchen.

Aaron stood up and followed Ryan into the kitchen. Channing didn't want them to know that she was listening to the conversation, so she went into the dining room and listened. Ryan cleared his throat.

"You know your sister was up all night because of you." He said.

"Yeah, I apologized." Aaron said.

"That's not enough. She busts her ass to pay your car note and insurance every month. Handles all of your basketball fees. All of that money you saved during the summer, she didn't ask for a cent of it. If I had any say so in what she does, your ass would have a job. Period. Channing hands you s***, and too often, you return what she gives with bulls*** and I'm not taking it while I'm here. You gotta do better. If you love your sister the way you say you do, you wouldn't treat her this way. I don't give a f*** what she says to you." He said.

"I hear you." Aaron said.

"No but do you HEAR me? I don't wanna have this conversation again man. You're too good of a kid to do the s*** you do. Get your priorities straight. Remember who'll be here at the end of the day. Your sister. You running to your dad, in spite of Channing? C'mon. What's that about?" Ryan said.

"You don't know s*** about my dad so don't speak on it." Aaron said.

"I don't know s*** about your dad, your right. But I do know you...and I know that you did that s*** out of spite." Ryan said.

"I apologized, and I meant it. I don't know what else to do." Aaron said.

"Actions speak louder than words, man." Ryan said.

"Alright." Aaron said.

Channing heard the two of them dap each other up, then footsteps. She came out of the dining room, carrying Jasmine's toys and smiled a little at them.

"I'll start breakfast." She said.

I like Ryan
I like Devon
I love Nick

Aaron is getting out of hand he need to respect her

Run it

LOL, Channing is too comfortable with asking her brother about sex. I can see where she's coming from though.. And although this may not mean anything at all, but I noticed Mariah is constantly on her phone, what's her story?

(Sigh) Nick... Oh how I miss him. I still think that Channing should've worked things out with him, but those days are over I guess... She's with Ryan.

Channing was putting Jasmine down to bed, when Aaron got back. He walked in and shut the door. Channing went into her room, to find Ryan lying on the bed watching TV. She got on the bed and smiled.

"Stay the night with me." She said softly.

"You don't think it's too soon?" He asked.

"You've been here a month." She responded, running her finger down his arm. "We're going slow enough."

He bit his lip and looked up at her, "Okay you can't stop coercing me." He said, smirking.

She pecked his lips softly and looked him in the eye.

"I'm happy you're here. I don't know if I tell you enough." She said.

"I'm happy to be here." He said, looking back up at her.

She smiled and looked up when she heard Aaron's door slam. He was still angry. She sighed.

"I have to go talk to him." She said.

"Be cool." Ryan said.

Channing stood up and walked down the hall. She knocked on Aaron's door.

"Aaron." She said.

He didn't respond. She opened the door and stood in the doorway, as he took off his shirt and threw on a v-neck.

"Tell me why you're upset." She said.

"You just talk too f***ing much like, sometimes I wish you'd just stay the f*** out of my business." He said.

"FIRST, stop cursing at me. SECOND, Aaron, when do I EVER get in YOUR business? I should be more, since you live under my got damn roof, but I don't. I let you leave when you want. All I ask for is a location Aaron. You were late for curfew three times last month and I only gave you warnings. You've got it easy I promise. I'm trying so hard to be your sister. I don't wanna be your mom Aaron, but if you keep disrespecting me, I'll make you reconsider." She said, her face serious.

Aaron sat down on his bed and shrugged, "Whatever." He said.

She sighed and slammed his door. It was almost impossible to talk to him when he was upset like that. She went back to her room and lied down. Ryan looked over at her.

"I told you be cool. Did you wake up Jasmine? You were loud." He said.

"Sometimes you have to be loud with Aaron. Otherwise he won't hear you." She said, turning off the lamp.

Ryan wrapped his arms around her and kissed her shoulder in the place he always did. Channing smiled and ran her fingers up and down his arms.

"God I missed you." She said, turning over and wrapping her arms around him.

He pecked her lips and slid his hands into her waistband, and held his hands there, like he used to do.

"You talked to Shelby yet?" He asked.

"Yeah I told her." Channing said, smiling.

"What she say?" He asked.

"<em>I told you so.</em>" Channing said, rolling her eyes.

She heard Aaron's door open. She sat up and Ryan did too.

"He better not leave this house..." She said.

Soon enough, she heard the front door slam, his car start and him leaving the driveway. Ryan shook his head and stood up.

"See now I gotta get involved." He said.

Ryan and Aaron cracked inappropriate jokes during dinner and made a mess of the table, turning straw wrappers into mini basketballs and tossing them into the empty glasses on the table. Ryan kissed Channing's forehead.

"I'm going to the bathroom." He said.

"Okay." She said, watching him leave.

She looked down at Jasmine and handed her a pepperoni. Mariah and Aaron were whispering back and forth and Channing watched them. She decided to break cardinal rule number one: Never ask about sex.

"Are you two having sex?" Channing asked.

<a href=>Aaron's</a> mouth dropped.

"Channing, what in the actual f***." He said.

"Language." She responded, looking him in the eye.

Mariah turned red and shook her head, "No ma'am." She said.

Channing smiled at the two of them, "I'm not condoning it, but it's fine if you are. I just...want you to be honest with me, and safe. You both are at that age where you're going to want to. Especially in a relationship like yours, where you've built up so much trust."

Aaron glared at Channing. She sighed and switched the subject. She was sure that Aaron would have words for her later.

"So what are your plans for Thanksgiving, Mariah?" Channing asked, cleaning Jasmine's mouth.

"Don't really know this year, with my parents' separation. Might be kind of weird." Mariah said, looking at Channing.

"Well you're always welcome to come over to our house for dinner. I'd love to see you." Channing said, smiling at her.

"Thanks Channing. Means a lot." Mariah said, looking her in the eye.

Channing knew from Mariah's face, that she was burning with something to say, but she couldn't because Aaron was sitting there. Channing winked at her and mouthed <em>We'll talk later</em>. Mariah nodded and adjusted the napkin in front of her. Ryan came back and paid for the check. They left and Channing kissed Aaron's forehead

"Take her home and come right to the house, okay? Be careful. Text me when you leave her house." Channing said.

Aaron forcefully wiped his forehead where she'd kissed him and got in the car. He was still pissed at what she'd said. Ryan started laughing.

"f*** wrong with that nigga?" He asked, getting in the car.

Channing got in and looked at Ryan, "I asked them if they were having sex..." She said.

Ryan started laughing, "Chan...He hates you." He said, starting the car.

"I know. I just want them to feel like they can talk to me, you know? If something were to ever happen. I don't want there to be any secrets." Channing said.

"No teenage boy wants his older sister to know that's he's having sex. It's not a secrecy thing. It's a privacy one." Ryan said.

After the game, Sade skipped outside, holding Channing's hand and asking her a bunch of questions. Nathan, Ryan and Aaron were discussing the game and Mariah was texting. Aaron popped the locks on his car and Nathan stopped, looking enviously at the car.

"Damn dude. A gift from your sister?" He asked.

Aaron nodded, "Yeah for my birthday. I'll have to come swoop one day. We can hoop or whatever." Aaron said.

"That's cool." Nathan said.

Channing noticed his demeanor change, like he'd shrunk right there. She smiled at him.

"Come over this weekend. You and Sade." Channing said, rubbing Sade's head and looking down at her.

"She'd have to ask her dad first." Nick said, walking up.

Sade ran to Nick and pulled on his hand.

"Can I spend the night at Chan's! I wanna stay with Jasmine!" She said, pointing at Jasmine, who was falling asleep on Channing's shoulder.

Nick's girlfriend stood a few inches behind Nick. He looked over at Channing. Nathan shrugged.

"I'll stay too." He said.

Ryan stood quietly by the car, waiting patiently on everyone. Nick looked down at Sade and then at Channing. Channing pleaded with her eyes.

"Alright you can stay Saturday night." He said to Sade. "I'll be there to get you early Sunday. You hear me?"

She nodded and jumped, "Channing! I get to stay!" She said, smiling from ear to ear.

Channing smiled, "I heard!" She said.

Nathan shook his head, "Y'all so gay. C'mon let's go. I'm hungry." He said to Nick.

Nick's girlfriend put her hand on Nathan's shoulder and walked back with him to the car. Channing looked at her curiously. She wondered what Nick saw in her. Nick picked up Sade and smiled at Channing.

"You finally convinced me." He said.

"About time you let up." Channing said.

He shrugged and nodded at Ryan, "I'm Nick, Aaron's coach."

"Channing's ex?" Ryan asked, his face blank.

"We never really got that far." Nick responded, looking at Channing.

Ryan nodded and stuck out his hand, "I'm Ryan."

"Cool." Nick said. "I'll see y'all later."

He turned to leave and Channing looked at Ryan. Aaron was cracking up laughing from his car. Channing gave him the finger.

"I'll meet y'all at CPK." He said, starting the car.

Mariah was in the passenger seat, on her phone.

"Aaron drive safely! SEAT BELTS!" Channing yelled, just as Aaron sped out of the parking lot. "That child is going to give me a heart attack." Channing said, putting Jasmine in the backseat.

Ryan was kind of quiet on the way to the restaurant. She looked over at him.

"Everything okay?" She asked.

He nodded, "Yeah...I just don't think I took it into consideration, that you would've dated other people while we weren't together." He said, looking over at her.

"How else would I have had a miscarriage?" Channing asked, laughing a little.

"I know. I just didn't really connect the dots then. Was it him?" He asked.

"No someone else." Channing said.

"How many people have you been with?" Ryan asked, aggravation in his voice.

"Just two! Neither of them lasted longer than a month, Ryan." She said, looking over at him.

He fell silent and nodded, gripping the steering wheel, which to Channing meant that he was in deep thought. She put her hand on his leg and kissed his cheek.

"You're telling me that you weren't with anyone else?" She asked.

"No, I wasn't." He responded.

"Well honestly Ry, I didn't think we were getting back together." She said. "When I broke off the engagement, I meant that." She said.

"I'm not upset Chan." He said softly. "I'm good."

"Okay." She said, leaning back, her hand still on his leg.

soooooo i bet he finna
go talk to Nick

<a href=>Mariah</a> sat next to Channing during the game, talking her ear off. Channing looked over at her during halftime.

"Are you gonna come out to eat with us after?" Channing asked.

Mariah nodded and looked down at her phone, "I just have to be home by 11." She said.

"Okay, I'll make sure of it." Channing said.

Mariah was straining her neck to see Ryan all night and Channing had noticed. She smiled finally and leaned back at little.

"Mariah this is my boyfriend Ryan. Ryan this is Aaron's girlfriend Mariah." Channing said.

"Hey how you doin?" Ryan asked.

"I'm okay." Mariah smiled, her cheeks rosy.

Channing smiled and shook her head. Adolescence. Aaron came out of the locker room and walked up to Channing and Ryan. He tossed a smirk at Mariah. He stood up on one of the benches and hung his arms over the rails. He smiled at Jasmine.

"Hey Jas." He said, waving.

She went to slide of Channing's lap and Channing stopped her, which caused her to start crying. Channing put her pacifier in her mouth and smiled at Aaron.

"What you at? 15 points, 3 rebounds?" Channing asked.

Ryan looked over at her and smiled.

"I see you still keep track." Aaron said, downing half of his water bottle.

Mariah kneeled down and whispered something to him which made him laugh. He looked at Channing.

"Where we eating after?" He asked.

"It's your choice, as long as you win." She said.

"Okay, I choose...CPK." He said.

"I said if you win." Channing said.

"That's guaranteed." He responded, hopping off of the bench and running back across the court to the locker room.

Channing smiled and bounced a crying Jasmine. Ryan took Jasmine from Channing and played with her, which ceased her crying. Nick walked out of the locker room and looked at Channing. He signaled for her to come down.

"I'll be back." She said to Ryan.

Ryan watched her leave and then looked over at Nick, who was waiting in the middle of the court. Channing walked towards him.

"Hey." She said, smiling a little.

He raised his eyebrows, "What's with the baby and the new dude?" He asked.

Channing shrugged, "I adopted her and...that's my ex-fiancee." She said.

Nick laughed, "Woooooooow." He said. "Congrats on the adoption. Not sure how I feel about the reunion though."

She nodded, "How are things with Nathan?" She asked.

"Well. His grades are coming along good and uh, he's still working so..." Nick said, looking down at her.

"That's good." Channing said, nodding.

They locked eyes and Nick broke eye contact when he noticed his girlfriend come in.

"I keep getting the feeling that, we're puzzle pieces, forcing ourselves to fit with the wrong pieces." He said softly.

"Well, I can't speak for you, my puzzle's correct." She said, patting his shoulder and walking off of the court.

Nick watched her leave. Ryan noticed the look on his face. He too, had that look once. She came back and sat down, smiling over at him.

"Do you want anything from the concession stand?" She asked.

"Naw, I'm good. Just stay here." He said, putting his arm around her waist and kissing her cheek.

She smiled a little and took a sleepy Jasmine from him.

everyybodyy is meeting !!

this seems to be gng good
i hope tht Nick lets
Sade go && spend the night

Channing held Jasmine tightly in her arms, as she knocked on Ryan's apartment door. He answered with a smile on his face. Channing smiled.

"You ready to go?" She asked, holding onto Jasmine tighter, who was pulling at her necklace and yelling "MINE!"

Ryan looked down at his bare chest and then at Channing.

"Yeah I'm leaving like this." He said.

"Shut up. C'mon." She responded, walking into the apartment and standing by the door.

Ryan went into his room and came back out ready to <a href=>go</a>. <a href=>Channing</a> smiled and put on Jasmine's hat before they left the apartment. When they got outside, Ryan popped the locks and Channing put Jasmine's car seat in his car. They headed to Aaron's game. When they got outside of the crowded school, Channing directed him to a parking spot, before she turned and looked at Jasmine.

"Gonna be a good girl for mommy?" Channing asked.

Jasmine nodded and spit out her pacifier, shrieking. Channing smiled and got out. Ryan looked at Jasmine.

"Give her hell." He said.

"Ryan, stop polluting my child." Channing said, unbuckling a wiggling Jasmine from the car seat.

The three of them headed towards the door and Ryan grabbed Channing's hand and intertwined their fingers. She kissed the back of his hand. They walked into the gym and got a seat in the front row of the stands. Channing's eyes fell on <a href=>Nick</a> as he stood on the sidelines, watching his players. She spotted Sade next, who came running down the aisle, when she stopped dead in her tracks. Channing smiled.

"Hi Sade!" She said.

"What's that?" Sade asked, pointing at Jasmine, who was staring back at Sade.

"This is my daughter, Jasmine. Say hi, Jas." Channing said, taking out Jasmine's pacifier.

Jasmine looked absently at Channing, then curiously at Sade.

"Can I touch her?" Sade asked.

"Sure." Channing said, laughing, and unzipping Jasmine's coat.

Ryan took Jasmine's coat and put it next to him. Sade looked at Ryan and leaned on Channing's leg.

"I'm Sade." She said.

Ryan smiled, "I'm Ryan. It's nice to meet you." He said, sticking out his hand.

"That's my daddy." She said, pointing at Nick, who was now aware of what was going on in the stands. His eyes were on Channing.

Nathan came down and smiled at Channing.

"Been a while." He said, pointing at Jasmine.

"I know. I've been tied up with the transition." Channing said, bouncing Jasmine lightly.

Jasmine and Sade were playing with each other's hands. Jasmine went to put Sade's fingers in her mouth and Channing stopped her and pulled a teething toy out of her purse, handing it to her. Jasmine put it in her mouth and Sade's face scrunched up.

"She's spitting!" She said.

"Her teeth are growing in. She needs something to help soothe her gums." Channing said, looking down at Jasmine.

"She's pretty. Can I stay the night with her?" Sade asked.

"We'll talk to your daddy after the game, okay?" Channing said.

Sade nodded and looked up at Nathan, who was talking to Ryan.

"Uncle Nate, can I have some popcorn?" She shrieked.

He nodded and dapped up Ryan, before walking off. He winked at Channing before he left and Channing smiled and readjusted Jasmine on her lap.

"Aaron looks good out there." Channing said, smiling.

@Express I just found these boards yesterday and read this entire story overnight. I have to say - I LOVE it.

Aaron and Channing seem so real to me. I can really appreciate Channing's journey dealing with her family issues and how that's starting to tie into Aaron's journey now that his Dad has come into the picture.
