Prologue
As I walked into the 1 bedroom apartment I shared with my bestfriend Kevin I heard a woman moan.
I assumed it was another one of his hoes so I just planned On walking right passed them.
But I stop dead on my tracks seeing who the female actually was.
The look on her face was horror. I wasn't in the to speak badly about what she was doing here, after all I was sleeping with her husband. But after seeing this I felt less sorry about what I was doing.
"you can't tell him" was all she said before gathering her things and running out the door.

Chapter 20
-Noemi-
The trial began to drag as nether side was even close to winning this case.
"Mr Jacobs do you have any proof of the call which lead Mr Brown to enter the house?" The judge asked.
"yes your honor i have the whole thing here on paper" Mr jacobs said handing him the paper.
"you don't have the actual voices?" The judge asked looking it over.
"no your honor" Mr Jacobs said.
"then how do i know that it was your clinte who was attacking this woman and Mr Neverson was the one you came to save her?" The Judge asked.
"Because she's here today, im sure she can tell you herself" Mr Jacobs said cathing me off guard.
"Ms Melendez can you stand up?" The judge asked looking for me as i stood us and sat crystal in my seat."would you mind coming to the bench and tell your side" the judge said as i walked up and sat in the bench next to him as the balift walked up.
"raise your right hand" he said as i did what i was told."do you swear to tell the truth the whole truth so help you god?" he asked.
"Yes" i said as he walked away and trey's lawyer walked up.
"Ms Melendez did you or did you not cheat on Mr Neverson?" his lawyer asked.
"no i did not" i said.
"so why was Mr Brown at your place the night before this incident?" he asked.
"like Mr Jacobs said our daughter had a allergic reaction to peanuts and he helpped me take her home" i said.
"and when he came back the next day and so called seen you on the floor did Mr Neverson hit you...at that moment?" he asked.
"no..but" i said as he cut me off.
"no further questions" he said as Mr Jacobs came up.
"Ms Melendez after Mr Brown grabbed his wallet what did he signal you to do?" he asked
"call his cell phone, so here can hear what was going on" i answered
"and what excatly happened?" he asked.
"He askked me if i slept with him, i said no and he called me a lair, slapped me down to the floor and started to choke me" i said.
"and you brought proof of this didn't you?" he asked
"yes" i said handing him photos my my bruses as he handed them to the judge. I looked over at trey who now looked nervious.
"i will go over this, untill tommarow court is now adjourned" the judge said as he banged his gavel and left the court room. They stood Chris up and took him through another door.
"don't worry ill have the recording by tommarow, we'll win thsi for sure" Mr jacobs said as i walked over and picked crystal up. He exited the room and trey walked up to me.
"i hope sleeping with him was worth it, cause he's going away for a long time" trey said with a huge grin on his face. Without thinging twice i c**ked back and puched him the face and walked away.
*The Next Day*
"I becoming close to my decision does anyone have any other staements to add?" the judge asked.
"no were good here" Trey's lawyer said.
"Mr Jacbos?" the judge asked.
"i have one more piece of evidence" mr jacobs said as he handed the judge the recording if the phone call. The judge played the tape and shook his head.
"The court finds you Tremaine Neverson guilty and Christopher Brown innocent" the judge said as they cuffed trey and un-cuffed chris. I ran over to chris with crystal in my arms as he hugged us both.
"i want us to be a family again" i said
"i want that to" he said as he kissed me.
"promise?" i asked
"promise" he said as we walked out the court room hearing trey resist his arrest.

Chapter 19
A couple weeks past and i finally found a good lawyer. I sat down in the little room with the lawyer as he visited Chris in jail.
"whats your saying is you had her call your cell phone you could make sure she was okay" r Jacobs asked.
"yes" chris said.
They talked and went over things for almost an hour. The lawyer pulled out a paper copy of the phone call.
"they might not expect this, we might have to get a electronically version of that call" Mr Jacobs said.
"why don't we have that yet?" i asked.
"the cops aren't cooperating with us and they have the records" he said.
After the meeting they took chris back to his cell as i went home. Tomorrow would start the first day of his trial, which was stupid he was innocent there shouldn't be a trial he should be a free man.
*The Next Day*
I got Crystal ready and we headed to court to support chris. We sat down on his side as i spotted Trey leaned in on his chair smiling at me. they brought chris out and he was still in hand cuff and trey laughed a little looking at him. The judge started to speak and Trey's lwyer was up first to prove his case.
"Tremaine Neverson was attacked, he was in his girl friends house when Mr Christopher Brown who also happens to be Noemi Melendez's Jealous Ex breaks in and asults Mr Neverson" he says.'bulls***' i thought in the back of my head.
"Defendant" The judge said looking at Chris's lawyer.
"The night before the incident My client was at Ms Melendez's house dropping of THEIR child who had an allergic reaction early that day, not knowing he left his wallet on the table, coming to get it the next day my client sees Ms Melendez on the floor, he gives her a certain signal telling her to call his cell phone, as he listen to what was going on inside the house through his phone he hears her call out for his help, thats when he breaks in the house and stops Mr Neverson from hurting her anymore" chris's lawyer spoke.

Chapter 18
-Chris-
I bust through the door and seen this nigga holding noemi up against the wall by her throat. I pulled him off her and slammed him down to the ground.
"get crystal!" i told noemi
"chris don"t--" i cut her off
"go get her" i said as she ran up the stairs. I walked up to him picking off the floor and punching him in his face multiply times.
"daddy?" i heard crystal say behind me stopping me from hitting him and letting him fall to the floor."whys daddy hitting trey mommy?" she asked noemi.
"go to the car" i told her as she walked out the door and i picked up the phone to call 911.
They arrived moments later taking his body away.I walked out to my car about to get in and drive away when i was stopped by once of the cops.
"Mr Brown, were gonna need you to come with us" he said pulling my hands behind my back but i wouldn't let him."stop resiting or you'll make it worse" he said as he finally put the cuffs on.
"what are you doing?" noemi asked the officer as she got out the car.
"go in the house, ill be fine" i told her but she kept walked closer to us.
"no f*** that, ya'll arresting the wrong on, get off him" she said trying to pull her away.
"ma'am stop we don't wanna have to take you in as well" the cop said.
"noemi look at me, take crystal in the house imma be good" i said as crystal was crying inside the car, she looked at me in my eye and kissed me before they took me to there cruiser and put me in it.
-Noemi-
I got crystal out the car and watched as they took chris away. Everything around me seemed to go wrong and i couldn't take it anymore, all i wanted was to be loved again the way chris used to love me.
"mommy wheres daddy going?" crystal asked me as i sat on the couch with her on my lap. Everything about her reminded me of him.
"he has to go talk to some people he'll be home soon" i told her as she laid her head on my chest.
"mommy im sleepy" she said rubbing her eyes as i carried her up to my bed and laid down with her falling asleep with her in my arms.
*The Next Day*
I woke up to my phone ringing, i picked up accepting the collect call knowing it was from chris.
"whats going on?" i asked him as soon as i picked up.
"attempted murder"
"what!" i said yelled as i walked out the room trying not to wake crystal.
"your man telling these people i attacked him for no reason since they can't prove he hit you"
"what are we supposed to do about this?" i asked him
"i need you to get me a lawyer. a good one they tryna put me away for 5-10 years" he said.
"are they gonna let you come home at least" i asked
"no, im in here until im proven innocent" he said."what?" i heard him say to someone else."i gotta go, i love you noemi don't forget that" he said.
"i love you to" i said as we hung up the phone.

Chapter 17
-Chris-
I Dropped noemi at her and we decided it would be best for crystal to stay home with her this weekend. I carried her to her room and laid her down on her bed since she hd fell asleep in my car. I walked out her room closing the door behind me. I walked downstairs seeing Noemi in the kicthen cooking.
"im leaveing" i said to her.
"oh..." she said turning around to look at me."i thought you might have been hungry so i cooked something for you" she added.
"i guess i could stay a little longer" i said walking over to the table, sat down and watched her as she cooked. She still did that little shake when she mixed things together. Moments later she handed me a plate with Chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn.
"looks good" i said as i started to eat."taste good to" i added.
"thank you" she said smiling as she bit into her chicken.
It was silent for awhile as we both finshed our food. I looked up from my plate to see her staring at me.
"what?" i asked
"nothing" she said shaking her head and looking away.
"you sure?" i asked her leaning back in my seat.
"i umm...." she tried to speak but instead she got up walked over to me sat on my lap and straddled me.
"what are you doing?" i asked her.
"i missed you?" she said putting her head on my shoulder.
"i missed you to" i said wrapping my arms around her.
We stood like that for what seems like forever and i didn't mind. I missed having her in my arms and now that she was in them i didn't wanna let go. She looked up at me, leaned in and kissed me softly and pulled away. I picked her up and walked to the room i laid her down on the bed and was a about to take off my shirt when i saw something on her nightstand.
"you had someone else in here?" i asked her looking at a open condom wrapper.
"its nothing" she said sitting up on the bed.
"nothing? no thats something, you still with him?" i asked her as she stood silent."wow" i said fixing my clothes and walking out.
-Noemi-
I watched as chris left my room and heard him leave out the front door.
"f***, im so stupid" i said as i threw my face into my pillow. I thought about how it felt to have his arms wrapped around me again and how good it felt to have our lips touch again all these thought ran across my mind as i fell alseep.
*The Next Day*
I woke up to someone jumping on my bed.
"hey baby" he said kissing me on my forehead.
"hi" i said putting my face back in my pillow.
"whats wrong?" he asked turning me over and laying in between my legs.
"nothing, im just tired" i said with my eyes clothes.
"i know how to wake you up" he said as he started to kiss me on my neck and pull my shirt over my head.
"im not in the mood trey" i said as he kissed my chest.
"your always in the mood" he said kissing down my stomach and taking off my pants in the same movement.
Moments later he had us both naked and was climbing back ontop of me when my phone rang and i regonized the ringtone.
"let me get that" i said tapping his shoulders
"let it ring" he said kissing on me.
"please it could be important" he said as he sighed and got off me.
I rapped a sheet around me, grabbed my phone and walked out the room to answer the phone.
"hello?"
"i left my wallet at your house, im coming to get it"
"NO!"
"no?"
"i mean ill bring it to you"
"im right around the corner, i got it"
"umm uh okay"
I hung up the phone and went back upstairs.
"who was that?" trey asked
"crystals father" i said getting dressed
"what does he want?" he asked
"he left his wallet here last night and--" he cut me off
"he was here last night?" he asked me as the door bell rang."that better not be him" he said getting dressed and trying to get to the door before me.
"trey, nothing happened" i said pulling his arm before he could reach the door but her pushed me back and i fell on the floor as he opened the door.
"i just need to--" chris said as he spotted me on the floor and trey at the door."whats going on here?" chris asked
"none of your concern what you here for anyway" trey asked him as i got up.
"i need to get something i left here" chris said walking over to the table and grabbing his wallet.
"iight you got it" trey said opening the door wider chris walked towards the door and looked at me with concern written on his face. He blinked twice t me and i already knew what that meant. As trey was busy stareing chris down i called chris number from my cell phone and put it on the table.
-Chris-
I walked out the door and that nigga slammed it behind me. s*** didn't seem right in there i gave noemi the signal we used when we were beging harassed my meagan. I answered the phone and put it on speaker as i listened in my car.
"did you f*** him?"

Soon after i heard something crash on the floor.

-Chris-
It's been 4 years today since the day me and noemi broke up and 6 years since the day she lost our baby boy. They never found the father of Meagan's so I've been taking care of him until last week when they let her put on bail. I let noemi kept my house as I moved onto a studio apartment. I laid across my bed playing temple run when noemis name popes up across my screen
"hello?"
"are you coming to pick up crystal it's your week end remember"
"yeah I'll be there soon"
I hung up the phone threw on some j's and walked out to my car starring it and pulling off. I parked in front of the house and got out the car seeing noemi sitting on the steps with some girls and crystal playing with the other kids.
"hey noemi, hey ladies" I said greeting them
"hello" they both said as the stood up.
"were gonna leave you to alone" one of them said as they walked away.
"crystal your daddy's here!" noemi called out as crystal came running.
"daddy!" she said as I bent down and she jumped on my arms
"hey baby girl are you being good for mommy" I asked as she shook her head yes.
"yuup I'm always good daddy" she said hugging me."what are we doing today daddy?" she asked me

" I wanna see the monkeys" she said putting her hand to her armpits and acted like a monkey.

"I'll be back, watch her she likes to go in the street" she said
"I got her go ahead" I said as she walked inside.

I walked inside and got dressed really quick. I took my hair out the bun and let my curls fall down my back. I walked back outside to see Chris running around with the kids.
"I'm ready!" I called out as they both walked over to me.
"your hair got longer" Chris said looking at my hair.
"you noticed?" I asked playing with it.
"I noticed everything about you like that new tattoo on your wrist" He said as I looked down at it and back at him."but let's get going before it gets to pack" he Said as I walked down the steps. He opened the car door for me and then strapped crystal in the back. He got in the drivers side started the car and pulled off.
*at the zoo*
I stood behind Chris as he had crystal on his shoulders looking at the monkeys. They pointed an laughed the same way it was to cute.
"mommy mommy look" crystal called to me as I walked over to their side.
"yes baby?" I asked her
"look the monkeys are a family" she said pointing at 3 little monkeys who were gathered together.
"I guess they are" I said
"can I have that?" she said pointing at a boy who was eating roasted peanuts.
"I'll get it for you" I said as j walked over to the vendor and got a pack of peanuts for her. We sat on a bench as she ate them and I tried to make conversation.
"I heard they let Meagan out?" I said as he looked at me
"yeah they let her out on bail" he said
"oh" I said
"you don't need to make small talk I know your only here for her it's cool" he said as I just stood quite.
"mommy my lips are hot" crystal said as I looked down at her and her lips her huge and red.
"oh my God Chris we need to take her to the hospital" I screamed as Chris jumped up and looked at her. He picked her up and took her to the car strapping her in fast as we both
Got into the car and sped of to the hospital.
*at the hospital*
Me and Chris were both in the room with crystal as they gave her a quick shot. I held his hand tight I new she was gonna be okay but I still had that fear about losing my her like i lost my last baby.
"she going to be okay" the doctor said."just keep her awya from peanuts from now on" he added.
"but she was never allergic to them before" chris spoke.
"allergies come and go without anyone knowing all the time" he explaned.
The doctor felt out the room and crystal was jumping on the bed like her regular self.
"how you feel baby girl" chris asked her
"im fine daddy i wanna go see the monkey again" she said
"ill take you 2mrw right now were goin home" she said as we walked out of the hospital.

Chapter 15
-Chris's POV-
Today was the day this child was going to be dropped off at my house. I couldn't just let him suffer for what his mother did. The door bell rang as i got up to answer the door seeing and older man and a younger kid who im guessing was Kyree Matthews.
"christopher?" the man asked
"yeah thats me" i said
"im Mr Jacobs this here is Kyree your son" he said
"sir witl all due respect this is not my son" i told him."but i planed on taking care of him until you do find his father." i added.
"Mr Brown, you laid down with his mother and created a child theres no turn--" i cut him off.
"no, your not understanding, i was phycially unable to impregnant meagan while we were together" i said.
"we'll figure this out together sir, for now heres your son" he said handing the child over to me.
"he's not my son" i said as he walked away.
I closed the door and took him into the house and sat him down in Crystals high chair and looked at him.
"do you know our name?" i asked so i could here him speak
"Kyree!" he said smiling.
-Noemi's POV-
I sat on the bathroom crying sitting on the floor in a pool of blood. I was in so much pain i couldn't even call for help or get up.
"my baby. my baby!" i cried as i held my stomach on the floor.
"Noemi!" i head chris call from downstairs but i coudn't get up."Noemi!" he called again.
I heard his foot steps as he got closer to the bathroom.
"baby?" he asked as he opened the door and saw me on the floor."oh my god, baby whats wrong?" he said sitting me up on the floor.
"he's gone, our baby is gone" i said as he pulled out him phone to call 911. He then made a second call for someone to watch the kids as he picked me up and took me out the house. The EMT's put me on the stretcher and inside the ambulance.
"i don't wanna go to the hospital again" i cried as chris held my hand.
"its gonna be okay baby" he said kissing my hand.
-Chris's POV-
*At The Hospital*
"Mr Brown?" the doctor came out the room.
"yeah?" i asked
"im afraid due to stress Ms Melendez has had a miscarriage since she more then 20 weeks we call it preterm delivery" he said as i put my hands on my face and dropped down in the chair.
"you sure?" i asked him
"yes" he said nodding his head and walked away. I stood up and walked around trying to compose myself before walking in her room.
"hey baby you okay?" i asked her
"f*** does it look like, the child ive been carry for almost 7 months is now gone" she snapped.
"i know your upset but--" she cut me off
"no buts when i get outta this hospital im getting my daughter and getting away from you" she said closing her eyes.
"babe what are you saying?" i asked
"im saying ive been in a hospital 2 twice with bad news since ive been with you and im tired of all the stress your causing me" she said
"we can get through this together" i said trying to grab her hand but she pulled away from me.
"by we who do you mean, me you and your hoes?" she asked as i looked down.

"wasn't she dead?" i asked
"apparently not" noemi answered rubbing her temples."what are we gonna do?" she asked.
"well i guess were gonna have to find out who his father is" i said.
"good idead" she responded.
"in the mean time were gonna have to take care of him" i said walking to the living room.
"what?" she asked getting up and following me."why do we have to take care of a child thats not even yours. hell know chris you better tell them something" she said getting angry.
"babe his mother is in prison practically for life and you can't find it in your heart to care for him, for a little bit" i said sitting down and looking at her.

I sat on the couch thinking for awhile. This people can't be this stupid to pin this child on me.
"dumb ass mother f***ers" i said out loud as i heard my daughter walk in the room.
"you mad?" she asked
"no not at all" i said picking her up and sitting her on my lap."you know how much daddy loves you right?" i asked her as she shook her head yeah.

"to the moon" she said smiling.
"to the moon, thats right" i said holding her and tickeling her."go get ready im gonna take you to the zoo" i said as she hopped off my lap.
"monkeys?" she asked
"were gonna see the monkeys and all the other zoo animals" i said as she ran to her room screaming with excitement.
-Noemi's POV-
I couldn't take all the stress i was facing living in this house. Even before this letter ive been going through s***. I know chris is cheating on me ei could feel it, thigs just havent been the same since i had crystal and no i was pregnant again. I walked around my room thinking to myself.
"mommy mommy!" i heard crystal call
"yes baby?" i asked
"were going to the zoo!" she said smiling hard.
"okay baby, go get ready you don't wanna be late" i said as she walked out the room leaving me to my thought once again.
I can't leave chris he's the father of my daughter and my unborn son, i don't know what to do but the situtation i was in wasn't a good one.
"babe, you coming with us?" chris walked in and asked.
"might as well" i said looking at him.
"you know i love you right" he said walking up to me kissing me and looking me in my eyes.
"yeah i know" i said pulling away.
"you good?" he asked as i was preparing myself to let him know how i was feeling but punked out last minute.
"im fine babe, imma get ready to go" i said.
I turned on the shower got in and let my tears out. Why did i think he wasn't gonna cheat on my when he cheated on him with with ME! I already knew she was cabable of cheated and i now i was trapped having 2 kids and becoming his fiance. I got out the shower and got dressed quickly.
"NOEMI! lets go" i heard chris calling from the front door. I walked down and and walked out the door to the car. I straped Crystal in the back and hopped in myself and putting my seat belt on as chris pulled off.
*At The Zoo*
Me and Chris sat at a bench as Crystal played in the little petting zoo section. I looked over at chris who was starring somewhere behind me. I put my head down already knowing what he was looking at.
"whats really on your mind?" he asked me.
"im fine" i lied
"seems like theres something lerking in your brain" he said.
-Chris's POV-
She was thinking about something and i already knew what it was, i had a serious problem. Noemi's pregnant and i can't get the satifaction i need from her, i know what im doing is f***ed up but men do it all the time so why can't i.
"chris really im fine, leave it alone" she said as i did just that and went back to watching Crystal. There was a good womean sitting right next to me but i couldn't control my wondering eye.
-Noemi's POV-
'I created a monster, this is my fault' i thougth to myself as i looked at him looking at other women.
noo i like them together and if the baby is not his he technically dnt have to take care of it

Chapter 13
-Noemi's POV-
I looked at chris's body laying on the floor then back at Meagan who was standing at the door.
"you really are pretty" she said walking towards me trying to feel my face.
"don't touch me" i said slapping her hand away.
"feisty!, i like that" she said licking her tongue out at me.
"your sick" i said as she sung hitting me in the face making me lose my balance and fall to the wall.
"OH baby can't fight" she said trying to kick me but i caught her leg making her fall to the floor.
"chris! wake up!" i screamed."somebody help me!" i added screaming.
"shut up" meagan said pulling me by my hair.
"get off me" i said pushing her up against the wall. She let go of me and i went to grab a pot from the kitchen."come on b****! what you scared now?" i asked banging the pot on the counter as she ran over towards me and i hit her over the head knocking her out.
"chris! CHRIS!" i cried screaming as i hit him to wake up.
"somebody HELP!" i screamed as Meagan jumped on top of me and tried to hit me in my face but i help both her hands.

I heard a gun shot as Meagan's body went lifeless on top of me. I pushed her off and crawled back to chris shaking him hard.
"noemi?" he asked as he woke up.
"yes it me baby are you okay?" i asked as the EMT came and put him on a stretcher.
"are you okay?" they asked me as they took chris away.
"im fine" i said sitting on the floor as they took Meagan's body away right after.
-Chris's POV-
i woke up once again in a hospital i looked around as i was Noemi asleep on the little couch in the corner. I picked up one of my pillows and threw it at her.
"are you serious?" she asked waking up.
"wake your ass up" i said as she got up and walked over to me.
"even after being hit over the head your still goofy" she said smiling.
"forget all that can we have a baby now" i asked her as she laughed.
"right after you get all that work you did undone" she said
*2 year Later*
"Crystal Marie Brown!" i called out to my daughter as she came walking in."did you do this?" i asked pointing at the marker all over the walls.
"nooo" she said smiling
"tell me the truth" i said.
"cut her some slack" noemi said as she wobbled in the room."shes only 2, crystal go play" she added.
"im trying to discipline my child here" i said pulling out a chair for her to sit in.
"you don't have to be mean" she said as she look through the mail.
"im not" i replied.
-Noemi's POV-
Just when you think everything was done and over with i come across this letter I opened it up and began to read.
Meagan Matthews has been convicted of 2 counts of attempted murder there for leaving 2 year old Kyree Matthews in the custody of Christopher Maurice Brown.
i stopped reading there and started thinking to myself How the hell was she or that baby still alive i seen her get shot right in front of my face and how the hell are then going to pin a child on him when its not even his.
"whats wrong?" chris asked as i looked up at him.
"you should read this" i handed him the paper as he started reading it and sighed.
